Susan Meredith grew up in Yorkshire, and when she wasn't playing out or dancing, she was busy reading or making little books of her own, mainly about ballet. She's now written more than 20 real books for Usborne, on subjects ranging from saving the planet to playing football, from world religions to the human body. Her book Growing Up won the Times Educational Supplement's senior information book of the year award but her own personal favourite has to be Hamsters.

This book is very useful as it talks about many different useful tips for us in daily life. For example which foods are good and which foods are bad for us in real life, and it talks about what nutrients are there in the good foods, as it helped me to reconsign what is good for me, i absolutely recommend this book to anyone, and hopefully this can help them too. And i learnt a lot science knowledge out of this book and it helped me improve in my grade in science subject.

It's Fun book that you can keep it in your pocket. Full of great information , from small thing like things we used everyday in our life to big thing like Solar System.

This book was great for the most part, but... was the having sex picture really necessary?

I have read this book probably 7 times over and over again. The facts never bore me, there are interesting and common questions kids might want to know, and if you're very curious they even have some experiments in their. I would recommend 7 and up, even though the book is not very thick, somethings are meant to be for older ages and you might understand things more clearly.
