Gave up on the series.
That one star is solely for the writing style. I can't say the same about the story. If you like smut, the book is for you.
I, however, would rather interested about this futuristic species, their capabilities, their roles amongst the human community, and the new world.

Absolutely awesome! Garrett is actually really sweet. Drinking too much the night before and got into some scuffles which he doesnt remember. LOL. Sedj is great too. She's a Siren but sorta hides herself because Siren's are known to be very sexual and "easy" and she is nothing like that. She wants to be wanted for herself. She's a great character and strong one and can be very deadly. One whose mate severed their bonding which took her some time to readjust. Liked her a lot. It was a hot sexy read. It wasn't rough or anything just sweet love making in my opinion. Enjoyed it a lot. It was a little different than her first 2 in this series and I can't wait for more.

Mina Carter sure knows hot to get your engines revving! Another insanely hot read. Its book 3 in the Revenant Chronicles but all can be read completely as stand-alones.
I always love Mina's characters. The females are bad ass and the men are sexy-as-sin and all alpha! Red and Garrett had amazing chemistry right from the start. I loved the playful, and sexy banter between them. They make for one hot couple.
Mina blends humor, sexiness, and amazing writing into all of her books and leaves you wanting more!

Mergers loves Red's cherries.
This is book 3 in the series, these are short reads but oh so hot. Red is a surgeon and a siren. She is now retired from the military and starting a new job. Garrett Mercer is human and is also starting a new job with a night out drinking. When they meet sparks fly and things heat up. Very hot read. Love these short stories in the series. Very hot and happy reading. Looking forward to the next in the series. Yummy!

Seriously folks, this talented dynamic duo are on fire and I can't get enough! The story is exciting, edgy, fast-paced, romantic and hotter than firecracker on the fourth of July! The dialogue is smart, exceptionally well written and flows effortlessly. The characters are intriguing and sexy as sin! Hubba! Hubba! This is a quick, steamy read with a little under twenty five pages but definitely packs quite the punch!
Sedj, also known as "Red", is Hanorian and a brand new member of Jensen Haye's misfit band of mercenaries, The Revenants. She's just "un-retired" and after a two year involuntary retirement, is finally ready to jump back into the action and that action is a state of the art med-bay. Mercer's Siren is another quickie story in Mina Carter's Revenant Chronicles series. Sedj is a female alien medic who just came out of a two year forced retirement. Garrett is the human mercenary who falls for Sedj. I enjoyed the story but I would have liked to read more about how the alien Sedj bonded with her ex and if she can bond with anyone else in the future. The bonding was an intriguing idea that distracted me from the rest of the story line since I wanted to read more about it.

I loved it. It was a great, steamy quick read. The characters are very likeable and easy to relate to. When it comes to a quick steamy read Mina gives you some of the best and this one is no exception. So if your looking for a deliciously hot book I definitely recommend reading this one.

Revenant Chronicles 3: Sexy, hot, short story !! Sedj is a surgeon and new to this area. Garrett is on her like flies on honey as soon as he sees her, but he's drunk. She gives him a medicinal dose that sobers him immediately, and he still wants her, which leads to their sizzling sex - blazing and amazing !!. Afterward they discover he's to be her new assistant.... hmmm...! ENJOY !!!

This is really hot. It is very short, so it mostly sets the scene somewhere in the future and gets right to the wonderful sex. There is some fun banter between them, and I really enjoyed this short story.

Fab for such a short story. I didn't hesitate to buy as every short story by Mina a Carter has been great. As always I wished for more but what was there was sexy and the chemistry flew off the page.

Mercer’s Siren is a short story and I’m curious about the world within the story. I don't have much of an opinion on the story as it was so short, but I plan on reading another by Mina Carter and J. William Mitchell.
