Is Your Smile Worth Your Life? What You Need to Know Before Undergoing a Root Canal Undergoing a root canal procedure isn't anyone's idea of a good time, but if one is necessary, we don't question its safety. According to Robert Kulacz, DDS and Thomas E. Levy, MD, JD, we should. Here, they reveal the hidden dangers of root canals. Nobody looks forward to having a root canal. But if you're in constant discomfort because of an infected tooth, you'll willingly hop into the dentist's chair and open wide. Sure, you might worry about feeling pain during the procedure (or paying for it afterward), but beyond those concerns, there's really no reason to worry about undergoing this common outpatient procedure, right? Wrong. Robert Kulacz, DDS and Thomas E. Levy, MD, JD, say that a root canal is actually a scientifically flawed and potentially dangerous procedure. "Instead of solving a problem, root canals introduce a steady stream of dangerous-and even deadly-toxins into your body," says Dr. Levy, co-author along with Dr. Kulacz of The Toxic Tooth: How a root canal could be making you sick. "Root canal-treated teeth are not sterile and contain pathogenic bacteria, which spread throughout the body and can initiate or worsen heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, and even cancer."
This book goes into the details why you should not have a root canal and the infections that never go away beneath them. I wish they would of gone into more detail of how to repair a missing tooth instead of a root canal.
This book was published in 2014, and it is therefore really up to date. It explains the details relating to the dangers of root canal filled teeth and cavitations from extracted teeth, discusses the most recent studies that confirms the research of Dr Weston Price that was done between 1900 and 1925, but that was actively suppressed and hidden from the public as well as the dental research community for 75 years until Dr George Meinig found it, reviewed it, and wrote the book The Root Canal Cover-Up in 1994. Dr Kulacz was forced out of his dental practice in 2006 through a court case for revocation of his license by the American Dental Association. He was charged with malpractice for extracting root canal filled teeth. The truth is that he was pushed out of practice because he, since he became aware of this research and began to heal people by removing root canal teeth and cavitations, also began to disseminate this information on talk shows and interviews. This is another example of a professional association/medical institution actively suppressing information dissemination by well-informed and well-intentioned medical practitioners trying to help people be healthier, but in the process, disturbing the status quo.
Read this before you have an extraction or a root canal. Some very scary stuff that happens because of the politics rather than the science.
You may have symptoms shortly after or years after that are treatable but doctors don't know about dentistry and Dentists don't mention possible problems at the risk of loosing their license.
