This book is considered the genre of fantasy for the ages of children 8 to 12 years. A summary of the book is about a little hamster named Olivia and is put under a spell of the witch Grizelda. Olivia needs the help of her other friends that live in the forest to go back to normal. I rated the book so well because i love any kind of animals and especially the fantasy of the animals talking. Olivia needs the help of two humans Lilly and Jess so she doesn't turn onto a bat from her spell. The characters are obviously, Jess, Lilly, Olivia, Goldie and the witch Grizelda. This story is a magical adventure with friendships along the way. I do think this book could appeal to young readers, the words were not that difficult at all. I would have liked to see more illustrations but maybe the creator wanted to leave that to our imagination in his case. I still think either way the story was adorable in general. I'm not sure how i would use this book with a classroom project but i am sure there could be many things to use the book for.
This book was a little messy, but fun to read. Olivia Nibblesqueak almost becomes a messy bat. When a purple spark spell was thrown on her. Read this book to find out how Olivia almost becomes a messy bat.
I liked the book, it was good. It's really cool how the author, Daisy Meadows or Meadows, Daisy came up with that spell. Do you not know about the spell in the book? Well read the book find out!
