Fate is a Moreno Brother's spin off series

Having made it to the major leagues, AJ "Rage" Romero is determined to shake the stigma his temper has earned him over the years. He's finally managed a shaky hold of that elusive self-control.

Until he meets them . . .

Without warning, his coach and mentor's brilliantly gifted granddaughter Clair and her equally amazing mother Addison Lara blow into AJ's life. The harder he falls for Addison, the closer and more attached he becomes to Clair.

Having fallen so fast and hard, he agrees to respect the understandably protective single mother's wish to forever keep the identity of Clair's absent father unknown to everyone—including AJ.

But when the ugly truth about Clair's dad begins to surface, the fire in AJ's fiercely possessive heart is lit. As more of the troubling reality comes to light, his zero tolerance for secrets and dishonesty put his temper—and his love for Addison—to the ultimate test.

Self-control has never felt so impossible.

AJ ‘Rage’ Romero has a temper control issue. He’s famous for losing his shit on the baseball field and regularly getting into fights. In order to become the best catcher who has ever lived, and under the tutelage of Coach Lara he somehow gets control of his temper. His life is just getting on track when he meets Clair, coach’s granddaughter, and her beautiful mother. Addison has made the mistake of falling for a baseball player before, and is dead set on never entering into a relationship with one again. She has to take care of her own heart, and more importantly look out for her daughter. Clair’s father is a mystery and Addison has never told anyone his identity. AJ and Addi find it difficult to stay away from each other however and they soon enter into a relationship.

I had some issues with the pace of this book during the second quarter, it felt very slow and there were pages of conversations between AJ and Addi along with their inner monologues that I skimmed through. Their constant back and forth became a little repetitive and I just needed them to get together already. AJ was a little too intense and he became a little stifling.

However, once I got past all of that there were some twists and the introduction of secondary characters and sub plots that made for some exciting reading. The angst was upped and I loved the tension that ensued. I got invested in the plot and there were some funny moments supplied by AJ’s cousins and the precocious Clair.

As a whole this was a pleasant read which became better and better as I read along. The situation around Isaiah and Nathan captured my attention and I cannot wait to read Isaiah’s story in 2016.

I have read ALL of Elizabeth Reyes books. You think you know an author’s style of writing. Uh no, every time I thought everything was going good thinking there wasn’t going to be too much angst. Elizabeth threw a curve ball. I fell in love with the way he connected with Clair, but she is hard to resist. I honestly thought Romero had a short temper, AJ took that cake. Although, Addison did what she needed to protect Clair from anything disturbing Clair's life, she shocked me because knowing AJ’s temper her sneaky "meetings" were very brave or just plain crazy. When a parent’s worst nightmare becomes a reality my heart broke for AJ knowing how much he loves Clair and Addison. He wasn’t able to protect them from the emotions they were going through, it really was devastating. Until, I met my husband and he fell in love with my daughter and me. I was a single mom, so this book holds a special place in my heart. Elizabeth this book was positively perfect. We seriously need a 5+ star rating!

This marks the official end for me. Reyes will never write like she did in the early days. I loved the 5th Street series best.

Now, though, there is no story in her books, there is excruciatingly poor development, the characters all look the same and the points of attraction are being repeated ad nauseum. Somewhere along the line someone told Reyes (after Bianca in Gio, it would seem) that all her female protagonists need to have big, doe eyes. All the men have the exact same features as well. This is boring and, while Reyes was never professional, her amateur writing held charm once upon a time. That's now gone in favour of churning our the same wash, rinse repeat cycle every two months.

Most disturbingly, however, is the chauvinism. It is extreme. This good girl vs bad girl dichotomy that Reyes is working with not only robs every female protagonist of character (to say the very least) but it is harmful, dangerous, archaic, and undesirable.

So, now there's nothing good in any of Reyes' new work anymore. I officially quit his author.

My Thoughts:

Have you ever loved the characters that an author creates so much that you wish they were real? This is something I find myself wishing, whenever I read a book by Elizabeth Reyes. I love her characters so much. I wish I could hang out at a gathering with the Moreno's and Romero's. I know it would be a great time full of laughs, incessant teasing, entertaining stories, and lots of fun camaraderie.

Rage was superb! Ms. Reyes has hit another one out of the ballpark! Then again, I've come to expect nothing less from Ms. Reyes. I love the alpha males that she gifts her readers with! They have this intense, passionate, and dreamy feel to them. A.J "Rage" Romero is one such alpha male, and there is absolutely no way that you will be able to resist him. We learn early on about that his nickname originated from his passionate and notorious temper.

A.J. plays for the San Diego Padres and is extremely close to Coach Lara. The coach's seven year old granddaughter, Clair, starts hanging around the ball field after herself and her single mother, Addison leave Chicago and move to California. A.J. falls in love with the sweet little gifted girl who has a passion for baseball statistics, and calls him her "best buddy." Soon after, A.J. meets Addison, and they share an instant and intense chemistry.

As A.J. and Addison begin dating, she makes it clear that Clair is her number one priority. She doesn't want to reveal the identity of Clair's deadbeat father, who is not in her daughter's life. A.J. is fine with this as long as she is not in contact with that Clair's father. However, A.J.'s trust and temper get tested when he learns that Addison is keeping secrets from him and being dishonest at times.

Rage was a real page-turner. The passion between A.J. and Addison was butterfly-inducing. These two were hot together. However, I have to say one of my favorite aspects of this story was the relationship that A.J. had with Addison's daughter, Clair. He was so sweet, loving, and protective of her. This made me love A.J. even more. Ladies, I could feel my ovaries pulsating every time A.J. Romero appeared on the page. Of course this could not be an Elizabeth Reyes masterpiece without an excellent cast of supporting secondary characters. I'm really looking forward to A.J.'s older brothers, Isaiah and Nathan's stories next. I was biting my nails and making predictions as I read some of the drama these two have going on in their lives, and it's sure to make for some outstanding storytelling!

My Rating:

I give, Rage, by Elizabeth Reyes, 5 Enthralling, Unabashed Passion, Heart-Melting, Swoon Filled Stars! I can't wait for you to meet A.J. "Rage" Romero, and fall in love with him like I did!

Rage is my first book by author Elizabeth Reyes and I know it will not be my last. As soon as I saw the cover and synopsis for this book, I knew it was going to be a good one. I am so glad I decided to check it out.

Rage follows the story of AJ and Addison. AJ has always let his temper get the best of him, but over the years, he’s learned how to reign it in and control it. Everything is going well until AJ’s coach’s granddaughter enters the picture. Who knew that a child held the power to completely turn his world upside down? As if having Clair in his life wasn’t enough, AJ’s life really gets knocked upside down when AJ meets Clair’s mom. Not only is Addie beautiful but she’s also super smart and an amazing mom. AJ can’t fight the pull and possessiveness that he feels for her. The closer AJ gets to Addie and Clair, the harder he falls. What will happen when the truth of who Clair’s father is comes out? Will AJ be able to handle all the secrets and lies? Is love enough to save them?

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I thought the story-line was fun and intriguing. AJ had my curiosity from the very first encounter. I wanted to know more about this man with the short fuse. The more time I spent with him, the more I understood why he was that way. I loved seeing him with Clair and the softer side that she brought out in him. But, wow oh wow, did Addie bring out the alpha male in him. I couldn’t get enough of the two of them together. And honestly, I really admired Addie. It’s not easy to accomplish the things that she did as a single mom and to be able to raise a smart, happy child on your own is just amazing.

Rage was well-written and definitely held me captive. I read it in one sitting. It had the perfect balance of angst, drama, and romance. Elizabeth Reyes has made a fan out of me and I’m looking forward to going back and reading more of her books.

Can’t I just put in one big smiley face emoticon, and call it a review? ‘Cause that would pretty much sum up my feelings about Rage a.k.a. happy, and grinning like a fool.

My excitement for AJ’s story was off the chain, and Elizabeth Reyes managed to deliver once again. Though I expected his temper to be way worse, I found none of his reaction necessarily overkill. He definitely needs to learn to not take things personal on the field, but other than that, I wouldn’t say he was unreasonable.

The thing is that AJ is honest and direct in all aspects of his life, and he expects the same from the people around him. That made is so easy for me to get in his mindset, and realize he’s an awesome guy, whom you’ll easily fall for.

Including Clair, and her mother Addison. The interactions between AJ, and Clair were so adorable. This little girl will steal your heart from the moments she starts spouting baseball statistics. Quite the genius, she quickly becomes AJ’s best buddy. While Addison quickly becomes his other kind of buddy.

It’s clear from the beginning where things are going between AJ and Addison, they still take their time to get to know each other. The chemistry though was insane, and will easily manage to get you all hot and bothered. There is of course some baby daddy drama, but I loved how it added this tension to the story.

Elizabeth Reyes manages time and time again to write original love stories, with characters you wish could be your friends in real life. This story and characters will steal your heart, make you swoon and leave you smiling.

I believe it is safe to say that Elizabeth Reyes knocked this one out of the park.

From the moment AJ met little (immensely adorable) Clair, he won my heart. I just knew that their friendship was going to be one of a kind. It was so adorable how they instantly became each other’s best buddy. Clair would share her baseball stats with AJ and tips before each game and AJ was Clair’s first buddy outside of her family – it was so cute.

Then walks in Addison, Clair’s mother AND THE SPARKS! AJ and Addison were cute together, AJ and Clair were cute together, but AJ, Addison, and Clair together…way too cute for my heart to handle.

I found that Rage was more suspenseful than the other Fated books. Addison refuses to give up the identity of Clair’s father is and throughout the entire book this creates a growing crack in their relationship when AJ realizes that Addison is lying to him. There is also the side story of Nathan and Kelli’s relationship and how Isaiah comes into play with it. This is a promising upcoming story, I am sure!

Oh, and that epilogue. So beautiful! It wrapped everything up so prettily that I had that moment of closing the book with a soft smile on my face.

I really enjoyed reading this book by the lovely Elizabeth Reyes. It had a different feel from the other Fate books as it was primarily based away from the Moreno/Romero world in La Jolla and involved a lot of different characters. The story is about AJ Romero and his baseball coach's daughter, Addison.

I really liked the characters in the story, they were both strong characters which created explosive storylines. I really liked the cute relationship between AJ and Clair (Addison's daughter). The character of Addison was great too and I loved it at certain points in the story where she stood up to AJ. I was reading the story and cheering her along!

Overall this is another great book and if you've enjoyed Elizabeth's work, you'll surely enjoy this too.

.Has a book ever given you so much life that you literally shed tears when it ended?

Rage was EVERYTHING. I've always had a soft spot for men that can love a child so unconditionally even though that child isn't biologically theirs, Aj Romero definitely owns a piece of my heart!! This book had so much angst I couldn't handle it at times, I'd have to give my heart a break pretty often so I feel like it took me while to actually read it lol. I'm pretty sure I lost track of how many times I shed tears, how many times my stomach completely dropped (I swear it was worse than being on a roller coaster), and how many times I was so pissed my husband would look at me and go what happened?! I literally shed tears when I got to the end and yelled "it can't be over already wtf?!! I want more", the only thing that made me relax was knowing we'd still see them.

ps. I totally caught some of the set up for the next or at least what I hope was the set up lol

DEFINITELY 5 STARS!!! thank you Mrs. Reyes! please don't ever stop writing

I give this book a 5 star...
I LOVED this book I couldn't put it down.
AJ is just wow Amazing. Talk about an alpha male hot badass.
I don't think AJ can get any hotter. The love he has for his girls. Is unbelievable. It takes a real man to love the way he does.
This is an all time favorite.
I didn't think I could love a book more than I love this one.
This was just perfect.
Elizabeth Reyes just keeps writing fantastic book. One right after the other. MUST READ for me. I can't wait for the next book. #AJISMINE

The fifth installment of Elizabeth Reyes' Fate Series, Rage, was one of my most anticipated reads of 2015. When I met AJ ''Rage'' Romero for the first time, in the fourth installment of this series, I knew that his story was going to be intense. As a big fan of Elizabeth Reyes, I always set my expectations high. With every new book that she writes, I always fall in love with her a little bit more. She did not disappoint with Rage. She exceeded every single one of my expectations!

If you have not read the Fate Series yet, you are seriously missing out!!!! Each one of these characters will make you LIVE their story. Some you will love and others you will love to hate. <--- I know it's weird when I say this, but you will totally understand once you read the books ... lol!! This book can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the previous books in the Fate Series. Trust me, you don't want to miss Vince, Brandon, Enzo and Sydney. These alpha males are intoxicating! Once you fall in love with one the rest is history!!!!

Addison Lara never expected to fall for a baseball player like AJ ''Rage'' Romero. From the moment that they meet, she knows that she's playing with fire when it comes to AJ. Her daughter, Clair, is the number one priority in her life and she will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. As times go by, Addison and AJ get closer together. Every day next to him is like a breath of fresh air in her life. He's fierce, protective and his love is like a healing balm. The one and only thing that spells trouble in her relationship with AJ is who Clair's dad is. She's keeping secrets and AJ's temper is about to turn explosive. Will she be able to open up about her past to be able to take a step toward a future with AJ?

Make sure you have those fans ready because Addison and AJ's chemistry is FIRE!!! From the moment that they meet their sexual chemistry is undeniable. AJ tried to stay away, but the pull he felt toward Addison was too strong. He has never felt anything like it in his life. Everything that she brings in his life makes him feel alive. He wants more than anything to be the one to own Addison's heart. I loved how Addison made Clair her number one priority in her life. Even if she fell hard for AJ, her daughter comes first and everything that she does revolves around Clair. I was proud that she took stand when things got rocky between her and AJ. Even if I did not always agree with her behaviour, I knew that there was a good reason behind every one of her actions.

This story was intense, emotional, passionate, romantic, heart-melting and simply irresistible! I loved how the author intertwined another story in this book. I don't want to spoil anything, but I can feel that the next books in this series will make me want to scream and throw my ereader across the room. I did deliver a couple of virtual slaps to a certain character in this story. I won't tell you who it is. I am positive that you will know who I am talking about once you read Rage.

While reading this story, I was on the edge of my seat because I needed to know who Clair's dad was. I could not believe that somebody could be so heartless. Clair is such a wonderful kid and anybody would be lucky to have her in their life. Addison and AJ were great characters, but I have to admit that Clair totally stole the show for me. Clair has a heart of gold. I am not surprised at all that AJ fell in love with her from the very first moment he met her. Heart-melting moments guaranteed with these two ;)

I give Rage, by Elizabeth Reyes, 5 thrilling, smokin' hot, page-turning, all-consuming stars!

Elizabeth has hit us another Home run with her 5th Fate series RAGE. I have absolutely NO complaints with this novel. Character development was superb. With AJ, we were introduced and fell in love with his character in Suspicious Minds and I can say with certainty was and probably still is a much awaited novel. Addison is a strong character and in difficult situations she never backed down and persevered for the best of her daughter Synclair (Clair). Like the other Romero's, AJ is an Alpha and in some instances he expects his word to be adhered to (for example Addi not being to chummy with the other ball players or in her interaction with the mysterious "Fred"), but Addison never took any of his BS and stood up to his manish ways and I totally LOVED IT!
Through out the whole book I kept asking myself "Who the heck is this Fred???" When I thought for sure I had it Elizabeth through a curve ball, but I'm glad I called from the get go! :D lol
What I commend Elizabeth for would be starting the relationship between AJ & Claire then introducing Addison. In most books you see the adults coming together then the child/ren being introduced, and I thought this refreshing and in some way made the bond between characters stronger. In some aspects when reading this, it made me think of my own dad and myself and this made me happy and sad (but good sad)

There's was a sad/panic situation that occurred and I thought to myself "Oh Fudge please tell me Elizabeth would do that!"

With each book Elizabeth writes she gets better as a writer and in drawing us into her world of characters. With the little snippets we got from a so called Love Triangle between Isaiah, Nathan and Kelly! can I say DRAMA!!! We'll just have to wait till 2016 for Isaiah's book (His to Guard) and Nathan's (Uninvited) to see the outcome of this.

You would do know wrong in giving this a go, and if you haven't read the series or any of her books then WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!! go read them NOW!

I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I literally read this book in one sitting. I could not put it down. Even when I would get up to get a snack or a drink, I was carrying my Kindle around the house with me while I read. I absolutely LOVED this story and fell in love with Elizabeth Reyes’ writing. Even though this is #5 in a series and a spin-off series at that, I didn’t feel like I was jumping in the middle of a story that I knew nothing about. This book can absolutely be read as a standalone.

AJ is a professional baseball player who has a reputation of having an explosive temper on the baseball diamond and even has the nickname, Rage. He also has the reputation being a bit of a manwhore. He actually is one of the biggest teddy bears around! He is gentle and sweet. He’s also very alpha, protective, and possessive when need be. I really love how he fell in love with Clair, Addison’s daughter before he even laid eyes on Addison.

Addison is the daughter of AJ’s mentor and coach. She is a single parent to Clair and had her when she was young. She grew up in the world of professional baseball and has sworn off dating baseball players. But when she meets AJ, all of that changes. Even though he is a bit of an asshole when they first cross paths, they have a strong pull and attraction to each other. AJ take his time getting to know Addison and decides that he wants more from her. He doesn’t want just a one night stand from her. one of the things that I love most about AJ, is how honest he is with his feelings for both Addison and Clair. He knows that they are a package deal and wouldn’t take them any other way.

AJ also has a tendency to be an extremely jealous prick when it comes to Addison. He wasn’t kidding when he said that she was his. From the start he has crazy, intense feelings where Addison is concerned. I love that Addison stands up to him, and doesn’t take any of his BS when gets pissy about stupid things.

AJ and Addison both learn so much about themselves and how to trust each other in this relationship. I don’t want to say anything more about the plot of the book, because it sure did surprise the hell out of me and I think the reader should get that shock and surprise themselves. Over all this book was addicting, super sexy, and fun. I can’t wait to read more from Elizabeth Reyes!

I love Rage (AJ) and this book. This is probably my favorite book in this series so far.

Rage is slightly different than the rest of the books in this series in that in really focuses more on the love of a child and his AJ’s ability to form a strong bond with her regardless of what his peers think of him.

AJ (Rage) is a major league baseball player and earned the nickname Rage because of his extreme outbursts and inability to keep himself in check (on or off the field). However, he has learned to control and focus that energy in a more positive way thanks to his coach, Mr. Lara.

Addison is coach Lara’s daughter and her daughter, Clair, is a huge baseball fanatic and smart beyond her years. She also has the same love of stats as her mom, so she is always going with her grandfather to all of the games. She also happens to be AJ’s biggest fan and these two form one hell of a bond.

Due to the closeness of not only Clair and AJ, but also the way AJ looks up to coach Lara, it’s inevitable that AJ and Addison would eventually meet. Their first interaction isn’t one that I would say went smoothly either. But as time moves on, things become better and also get more complicated, for many, many reasons.

I won’t give any more of the plot away. This book is full love, devotion, heartache, deceit and determination. You will feel everything that both AJ and Addison feel. You will understand AJ’s rage and you can totally picture him when he is flying off the handle, regardless if you agree with him or not. You can sense Addison’s apprehension to a certain point, only because we don’t know exactly what all she has going on.

AJ and Addison will both infuriate you and also make you want to root for them. These two are very passionate people and they do no hold back anything. Elizabeth does an amazing job of writing two extremely strong characters. Yes, they have their flaws, but that’s what makes them so much more real and honest.

As I said earlier, this is probably my favorite book in this series. I cried, laughed, rooted on fights, and even felt like punching things all while reading this book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. I love when I feel so much in one book.

Another highly recommended book by Elizabeth Reyes!!

Elizabeth Reyes is one of my favorite authors and she is one of my few "one-click" authors. Rage only disappointed in one way and that was the fact that it wasn't a story about Brandon and Regina :P .

AJ "Rage" Romero is absolutely adorable. I know that isn't a word that many would use to describe him but his relationship with Clair is exactly that, adore. That relationship makes him adorable. While he does have a temper he is mostly a caring guy who only wants the people he cares about to be happy.

Addison is such a great mother, she's a bit overprotective of Clair as most readers would have noticed but its a good kind of protectiveness. Her chemistry with AJ was mindblowing, they had this connection from the very beginning. She was a bit disappointing compared to some of the other heroines that Reyes has written. As smart as she is, she definitely needed to think through some of the decisions she made towards the end of the book.

As much I loved the relationship portion of the book, the aspect that really made me love this book was Clair. She reminded me so much of my younger-self (the baseball fanatic, not the smart part) I loved baseball. I was a diehard Yankees fan who worshiped Derek Jeter. Clair is such a ball of light and I like her more than Addy (sorry!).

I really recommend reading Elizabeth Reyes's books. They will definitely make you feel all fuzzy inside. I always pick up her books when I'm feeling down and they are always a quick pick me up.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED this story! AJ "Rage" Romero has earned his nickname throughout the years. It's easy to set him off, and other teams tend to use this against him to win games. AJ is determined to shake it off now that he's in the big leagues, as he finally managed to get a shaky hold on his self control and temper. The day that his coach/mentor's gifted granddaughter Clair, and her beautiful mother, Addison, enter his life, has him really trying to keep his temper under control. The harder he falls for Addison, the more attached he becomes to Clair. When the ugly bomb of Clair's dad threatens to explode, AJ starts becoming fired up again. As the secrets are revealed, his temper is unleashed. Will AJ and Addison's relationship be left standing after the blow up?

I couldn't get enough of AJ Romero, and was hooked from the very beginning. The character development is amazing, with secondaries that rocked, especially Clair. A fast paced, exciting, and well written story line flowed perfectly. Elizabeth Reyes has a gift in weaving together layers that are revealed at the best point of impact. She had my heart racing cover to cover, and I couldn't get enough. My emotions were forced to the surface with some serious angst, and I found myself tearing up a couple of times. I loved the amount of baseball scenes she added in to this amazing story, and I happily HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Aaaahh Rage, Rage, Rage. The crowd yelled it throughout the story from the stands and you’ll want to yell it at your e-reader too! I routed for AJ! Wanted him to conquer his Rage and get the girl. What can I say, I’m a sucker for happy endings. Good thing with this story is we get that and more!!

AJ (Rage) was a broody, quick tempered character that at times had anger issues especially when it came to people disrespecting his family and friends, always quick to erupt in rage in the defense of others. But when you got to the underlying issue of why he felt compelled to do so, you couldn’t help but love him all the more for it.

Addison was very guarded and hesitant to let her guard down and allow someone not only into her heart but into her adorable and extremely intelligent daughters life as well. I did want to give Addison a good hard shake for holding a very key piece of information private for so long, but I understand her reasons for doing so. She’s very strong and when push comes to shove – watch out!

And lovely little Clair… she was adorable! She could probably hold her own amongst the Mensa group with her intelligence level, but she was very quick witted and quirky at the same time. I love kids in stories, they add such vibrancy to the plot.

This was another great read from Elizabeth Reyes!! Highly recommend!

Another great love story

AJ has a short fuse, hence the reason for his nickname Rage. However, he's a great baseball player, and even more importantly, a fiercely loyal brother and friend. AJ never thought of having a relationship since he is focused on his career and family, but fate stepped in when he meets little Miss Clair, and he falls head over heels for this adorable and intelligent 6 year old girl that happens to be the granddaughter of his mentor and the daughter of Addison, the woman that will turn his world upside down.

Addison became a single mother at the tender age of 17. She has the support of her amazing parents and has a beautiful and intelligent little girl. Addison has focused her life around Clair and doesn't have time for relationships, especially baseball players. However, when she meets Clair's 'best buddy' she decides to change her rules and takes a chance on AJ.

AJ and Addison will go through some ups and downs throughout this delectable love story about a young couple that is learning more about each other and themselves while trying to incorporate a child into the mix.

Elizabeth Reyes does an amazing job of telling a story about young love and what it takes to fight for a Happily Ever After. I promise you will love these characters and this adorable love story.

I don't even know where to begin because this book is that good. It takes you on a roller coaster of emotions. I guess I will start with AJ. What's not to like he's a baseball player and catcher to boot. I love catchers. AJ has a personality where he doesn't dwell on games and wants the people in his life to be upfront about everything. Sometimes it seems like an impossible goal. Then you have Addison who has been burned before by a baseball player. She doesn't want to risk her or her little girl's heart, but AJ seems to be worth it. I'm going to be honest I almost stopped reading because something happened to one of the characters to where you weren't sure they were going to make it would have broken my heart, but I kept on reading. I was so glad I did. I could hardly put this book down. Addison's little girl is so adorable. The way she knows all her baseball stats is so awesome. I just love it. The epilogue ends the book perfectly because it has the humor, but such a sweet moment that brings tears to my eyes.

I’ve been a huge fan of Elizabeth Reyes since I first read book one in the Moreno brothers series. I fell in love with her stories, writing, and characters. I love Sal he’s my favorite from all of her books, but AJ stole my heart from him. He may be known for angering quickly but he was so so sweet. Also AJ’s relationship with Clair (Addison’s daughter) is perfect! He was so good with her which made things that much easier and more natural when it came to the attraction between Addison and AJ.

There will be twists and turns, secrets, and drama and angst too so don’t be too fooled. The story was wonderful, and you wont want to put it down. You wont be able to put it down it’s that good. Everytime I read a book from Elizabeth Reyes I get a little giddy…I always know I’m going to read something great. You’ve got to check out all her books they are all worth it.

Should I go with this corny line…….Yeah I will.

Elizabeth Reyes knocked it out of the park with this one!

Fun!

I greatly enjoyed this book because I could understand the male character so well. Of Mexican descent, AJ Romero is a baseball star, with a reputation for explosive character. As such, his nickname is Rage. He meets his coach's 7 y/o granddaughter, Clair, and strikes a friendship with her. She's a little genius with a talent for baseball statistics, and soon they are "best buds". When Addison, Clair's mom, comes to a game, tingles and sparks happen in AJ. For Addison, her obsession over AJ is years old. Their relation happens with hot and cold moments, some advances and retreats. AJ acts with the usual Latin machismo and problems ensue, but thankfully, Addison is a genius too, and knows how to deal with her Latin lover.

I loved both characters, and adored little Clair. The plot was intricate with the intrigue about Clair's biological father and AJ's tantrums, and wholly enjoyable. Totally recommend!

I LOVED this book. I was tempted to give 5 stars but I rarely do because I feel like it's overselling. AJ "Rage" Romero is a star baseball catcher who has an unbelievable temper, hence the nickname. He's hot headed, with a short fuse and it doesn't take much to set him off. Addison is trying to move on from a bad relationship all the while keeping the identity of her daughter Clair's father a secret from everyone. Upon meeting Clair, AJ is instantly smitten with the little girl. When he meets Addison, he has a different impression at first, because he doesn't know who she is. When AJ starts falling for Addison, Addison is hesitant because she doesn't want to set a bad example for her daughter. When they finally come together, Addison;s ugly past comes back with a vengeance. When the identity of Clair's father is finally revealed, AJ must try to reel in the rage that simmers at the edge of his mind. Truly and amazing love story!

Holy mother of hotness!! Rage is a man you want in your life. This was one hell of a hot story.

AJ "Rage" Romero was known in baseball as the one who loses his temper and goes into a rage when he gets angry. He really is a kind and caring man. He meets his mentor and coach's granddaughter Clair and falls in love with that smart little girl. Soon after he meets her mom Addison and he's a goner.

Addison swears she would never fall in love because she wants to protect Clair. Clair has severe food allergies and you can't be too careful.

AJ and Addi fall in love on a whirlwind, but all bets are off when something terrible happens to Clair. Can AJ and Addi repair their relationship? You have got to read this book pronto.

I would give this book 10 stars if I could. It was touching, mind-blowing, and scorching hot. One click asap.

Rage by Elizabeth Reyes
Fate Series Book Five
AJ Romero “Rage” has hit the big times, the Major League. Thankfully the man who is not only his coach but also his mentor is helping him to control his temper that earned him his nickname. That very same coach's daughter may cause him to lose that control.

Addison Lara has one important rule in her life; her daughter Clair always comes first. She has to remember that when she's around the handsome catcher.

As always Elizabeth Reyes takes her readers on quite the ride. The story takes you on that emotional roller coaster with it's highs and lows and through a few dark tunnels where you don't know what might be around the next corner. In other words, another fantastic story.

RAGE BLOW MY HEART

It keeps getting better and better. Every time I read an Elizabeth's book I think it's the best, but she surprise me every time with a new one, a better one! Rage stole my heart from the very first page! His rage, turn in to passion in everything he does! The love he has for Clair from the very beginning it melt my heart! This is one of the best stories of Mrs. Reyes and I know for sure Isaiah's and Nathan's is going to be as great as this one! I didn't think I could love the Romero's as much as I love the Moreno's but oh boy I love them! Can't wait 'til 2016 for more Romero's. If you haven't read any books of the wonderful Elizabeth Reyes, you don't know what you're missing, she's the BEST when it comes to alpha men stories who happen to be so sweet and soft with their one and only! A MUST READ through and thought.
