The most garbage Cher bio I've ever read, from an author who clearly had very little respect for his subject. I wanted to read about her life instead of his opinions about her life, but I guess that's what you get with unauthorized biographies sometimes. There are plenty of books on Cher that are far better than this.

This book was written in such a way that it appeared as though the author had an ax to grind! To me, it appeared as though he were sighting, only publicly known fax with no evidence to substantiate his periodically inserted opinions.

What the crap book! I kept wondering, “why would someone who hates their subject so much write a biography about them?” You can tell he hated Sonny and Cher vehemently- guess it didn’t stop him from trying to cash in on their reflected stardom and audiences.
