Filthy Dirty Secrets - 3 Stars!!
“Filthy Dirty Secrets” is book2 in Grace Morgan’s ‘Filthy Dirty Alpha’ series and picks up right where book2 ends. In book1 we met the two main characters – Burke, who’s the co-owner of one of the most notorious sex clubs in Austin and Lola, who’s a reporter investigating the disappearance of Hope, a woman who used to be a member in Burke's club. Burke and Lola’s arrangement it’s not anymore (for both of them) a simply arrangement. Lola finds out that Burke lied to her and even if she feels something for him, she can’t deny he looks like a suspect in Hope’s disappearance. When Burke admits that he lied to her and tells her everything he knows about Hope. Even if she wants more than she already has with the sexy club owner, she knows they have an expiration date and that he doesn’t do relationships.
Like its predecessor, this installment was fast paced and I enjoyed this fact. While Burke is still a sexy, mysterious man, we find out more about Lola and why she is so determined to find Hope. Burke cares for the gorgeous journalist, but he’s convinced he’s not good enough for her. Written in dual POV, this installment was as steamy as the first one. The sex scenes are hot and kinky and they will left you wanting more.
The cliffy in the end was interesting and I didn’t saw it coming. Needless to say, this installment surprised me in a good way. I would have liked the story to be longer, because at times everything that happens felt a little rushed and I really wanted to read more about these two characters.
Overall, a good read!

Filthy Dirty Fate - 2-2.5 Stars!!
“Filthy Dirty Fate” is the third and final installment in Grace Morgan’s ‘Filthy Dirty Alpha’ series and like its predecessor it picks right where the previous book ends. After she finds out the truth about Hope, Lola still have some questions. Instead of talking with Burke she leaves him and moves back in her apartment without talking with him about any of her concerns. I have to say she really pissed me off. I understood the fact she has some fears, but come on...Also at times she was more than paranoid. She annoyed me big time! Anyway...the fact they were separated for a while made them admit they have fallen for each other and they want to be together.
There’s just a little drama which I appreciated it. Like the previous books, this one was fast paced and steamy as well. While I like a good fast paced story, this installment felt too rushed IMO. And it was too short for my liking. Also the mystery felt very anticlimactic. Meh…
Overall, a nice read!

This part starts where the previous one left off. Lola, after finding out about the connection between Burke and Hope, leaves him for a short period of time only to return to Second Circle soon after. She got so invested in finding out the missing girl, that even Burke hiding out the truth won't stop her from searching further. When she comes back, Burke decides to lay out the whole truth about Hope and offers to help with the investigation.
This one is written in both Lola and Burke's POV. We get more information about Lola and a glimpse from her past, which explains why she is so determined to help find a girl, about whom everybody has already forgotten. And while we get to know Lola more, Burke is still an enigma. Except the fact that he is the owner of Second Circle, likes to dominate and has some issues with committing, we don't know much more about him. The man is secretive, but that makes him even more attractive.
While the deadline for those thirty days comes closer, the couple grows closer. Both Lola and Burke are confused, they are not sure whether it is still just an arrangement or is it something more now. And they are both not sure what they want after those thirty days.
Overall, if you are a fan of those short erotic serials, you should enjoy this one as well.

"Our relationship has an expiration date, but it's one either of us could reverse if we're willing to make the first move. But if I keep Lola, I'm depriving her of everything she deserves to have."This part is much shorter than the first one and there is quite a lot information included. In addition to the thread concerning Hope, the author does not disappoint and provides us with some super steamy sex scenes, which are not that BDSM as I thought they would be, just nice, kinky sex. And holy shit, I did not see that one coming, the cliffhanger, I mean. Kudos to author for that.
"If I choose Burke, I'll be utterly consumed. There will be no Lola left to chase after lost women. I'll be the one who's lost."
Overall, if you are a fan of those short erotic serials, you should enjoy this one as well.

The story of Lola, Burke and the mystery of Hope's disappearance continues in Filthy Dirty Secrets. And the book is very appropriately titled since there seems to be a whammy of a secret at work here which finally hits you over the head like a two by four with that cliffhanger.
There was quite a few revelations packed into the short 65 pages here. You get the reason behind Lola's ferocious need to find out what happened to Hope. I was afraid that the author may never address that and I always felt that the story really needed that reason. And I must say, I was very satisfied with what it was. It explains her thirst for answers and truly makes you connect with her character here.
Burke continues to be the mystery that he was in book 1. Even though the story is told in dual POVs, you don't get much about Burke here other than his struggle with what he wants from Lola. Does he secretly crave more or will it stop with the end of their thirty day arrangement? Guess we'll have to wait for the third and final book for that answer. I'm really hoping for some insight about his character next. Besides being a Dom with commitment issues and the owner of Second Circle, we truly don't know much about him. Though we do get to find out his connection with Hope, it still leaves quite a few questions to be answered.
There is a hell of a cliffy that the author hits you with at the end, and I have to say that it was one I never saw coming. I love a story that can continue surprise me and this series continues to keep doing that. Grace Morgan manages to pack in a mix of scorching hot sex with a bit of story, answering a few questions while leaving you with many more here. My only complaint is the length. I would have loved for a little bit more here. I'm hoping that the final installment will give us just a little bit more. I can't wait to see how this all ends. Quite the addicting little story the author has penned here. Definitely looking forward for more from her.

Lola & Burk's story continues as does Lola's search for Hope. Hot as well but truly, too short. This should have been condensed into book one. Now, I wait for book 3.
I loved it but it's barely a novella. I get series & cliffies, but the length of this pissed me off. Would of gotten a higher rating but I can't justify $/length

WOW just WOW, I couldn't get enough of book 1 and I was pleased to see that book 2 was coming out yesterday- inhaled it in a few sittings in the same day!! Next Monday please come soon cause holy shit.

Wow..This was the second book in the series and it left me absolutely stunned!
Grace Morgan had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! Book 2 Filthy Dirty Secrets continues where the first book leaves off Lola is still searching for answers and trying to determine what happened to Hope. Book 1 left off with Lola being shattered and feeling broken finding out that Burke had lied to her, the opening of the second book is her going right back into the lions den to face the monster so that she can try to find Hope and determine what exactly has happened to her. Lola and Burke go through some major trials and tribulations in this book there are some major trust issues. The chemistry between Lola and Burked is explosive, at points in the story it seems to not only flow but almost leap off of the page. There is so much suspense and drama in this story that you will be mixed up and not sure of which way is up by the end and oh my the end let's just say that Grace Morgan left us with a bit of a shock for the final book that is coming!

This may only a short book but it packs a whole lot in.
Lola is still investigation Hope’s disappearance and in line with their agreement she is still with Burke.
The reason behind Lola’s determination to discover what has happened to Hope is revealed in this story and I have to say I understand why she gave in to Burke’s demands in order to have the access to the people she needed. She will honestly stop at nothing to find out what has happened.
Told from both Burke’s and Lola’s points of view the book certainly gallops along cramming more in than many books twice its size but I have to say that Burke has really gotten under my skin.
There is more to the man than he is ready to show at the minute, although we do find out how he is connected to Hope.
His whole elusive personality is completely captivating. I have my fingers crossed for Burke, I think I have my own story playing out in my head, I just hope that the next book brings me what I am dreaming of.
I will warn you know, I was completely blindsided by the ending, the cliff-hanger is a proper belter!! I doubt you will see it coming, I know I didn’t.
Straight into the next book for me and a bit more Burke!

This writer was provided with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. I really am enjoying this series. It is quick paced, with well developed characters, and a mystery which will keep you guessing until the very end.
Lola thought that she would be able to remain detached when she made an agreement with Burke to live with him in his apartment above his notorious sex club, while she investigated the disappearance of one of the clubs regulars. When she found out that Burke was undermining her investigation, and lying to her about his involvement with the missing woman. Lola must determine if she can live with a man who lies to her, or if she cares for him too much to walk away even when she suspects that he is hiding a terrible secret.
This is a very well done novella length read. The entire series is addicting, and should be read in one sitting, because you will experience anxiety if you have to wait to read the next installment.

This is the second installment in a hot new series by this author. This book picks up where book one left us, with tons of steam and mystery.
Lola wants answers. After the feeling betrayed by Burke, she doesn't know what to do or who to believe. She has a job and that is to find out what happened to Hope. Now she has partial answers and she wants them all.
Burke wants Lola but he thinks he is bad for her so he keeps his heart and feelings at a distance. He knows he is only good for their original agreement but that doesn't stop him from wanting more.
This panty melting and heart pounding addition to this series was amazing. Burke and Lola become closer between the sheets while blocking the world out. That ending was epic!
I highly recommend this series.

Part 2 of 3... this one is significantly shorter than the first. I borrowed this through Kindle Unlimited. If I had to purchase this, I wouldn't have.
While I'm not opposed to serials in theory, I am opposed to bad writing and bad storytelling.
These characters are unoriginal... dom who falls in love but can't admit it... yeah read that before. Woman who doesn't think she's submissive but is but only for him... yeah read that before too.
We at least get a little more dirty talk from Burke, but it's not substantial enough. And we have secrets, but I'm not sure they're filthy or dirty AND I still can't understand how she trusts either of these men when they've been blatantly lying. The question is to whom is each lying. So far the only one who's been honest is Lola, but she's the worst investigative journalist ever.

There are three books in the Filthy Dirty series. Lola is a newspaper reporter who is on the verge of losing her job unless she can come up with a big story. She has the perfect idea for a story, Hope has been missing for several months & no one seems to care but Lola is determined to find her. Hope was last seen at a private & exclusive sex club called Second Circle, so that's where Lola decides to visit & talk to the owners. Burke is one of the club's owners & he knows there is something Lola is hiding. Lola tells Burke the truth & he offers her a deal his staff will cooperate with her investigation if she agrees to live with him for 30 days & submit to him sexually. Lola agrees & that's when the real fun begins.

This was just disappointing! The story totally me hooked but this is so short that it's not worth it unless you have Kindle unlimited and I don't! There is way too much sex and I understand this is an erotic romance but it leaves no room for the mystery and romance. If this book had been longer I would have been completely hooked . I have so many questions about the cliff hanger that I will probably sign up for kindle unlimited for a month and return the other installments . You can basically pay a month for the price of these three serials and I read this one in only a few minutes. I think it's shorter than the first . Good story but way too short .

I want to like this series so much, but Lola is fast becoming annoying. She honestly feels like a very weak character to read. She forgives Burke almost instantly, has no qualms that he's obviously hiding things, all because he's a good lay? I just find that hard to swallow. Also, Burke is just an a$$hole in this book. He's not really sweet or caring, or even a good dom, he's just kinda there. This book was extremely short, and just felt like there was almost no need for it, except maybe the last chapter... while I enjoyed book 1, I'm not as impressed with book 2.

I didn't enjoy this one nearly as much as the 1st. I don't understand why authors don't just publish one complete novel. I felt lola appeared weak in this book. She just took Burke back almost no questions asked even though he lied. dissapointing. i also really hope im wrong in where this book seems to be heading.... Hope the 3rd one is better.

Good second installment, we find out Burke lied to Lola about knowing Hope. Lola forgives Burke and tells him she wants a realtionship Burke says its just sex but he wants her to stay then not because he us still hiding secrets, Lola still is uncovering the mystery of Hope and gets some answers.

What the what!!! absolutely brill story amazing hot scorching sex, but it was so much shorter than the first. I don't understand why this couldn't of been collated with the first book. But still great all the same now I'm itching to read book 3 come on 25 May hurry the fuck up
