Legitimately reads as bad fanfiction
There is zero development of the main male lead. It is literally just a generic character. Nothing gets any explanation, building on or resolution. The main female character suddenly goes into heat and then announces the next day to the packs that she is pregnant and having a baby. The cringe factor was off the charts for this entire story. It almost felt like a poorly done first draft outline. I absolutely cannot understand the other positive ratings. The only thing I can say is that at least I didnt find any typos.

Evelyn’s father manages to get her betrothed to the Caldour pack Alpha who’s a bit of an ass. She goes on a run and meets and subsequently shags and falls in love with Jeremy, who’s a wolf from Morgandorf, their rival pack.
The story has plenty of steamy scenes, I’ll give it that. But very little character development. There’s not even a full description of any of the characters, houses or the villages. I don’t even know if she’s a brunette, blonde or redhead..

I really enjoyed this story and the way it was written. I like that it is centered in a small town community, and with the Reservation close by. This is a different twist on wearwolf beginnings and lifestyle from other wearwolf stories I have read/ listened to. Narrator does a very good job with the various characters' voices and the entire storyline.

I love this author!! She understands what I want from a paranormal romance novel. Plot line is solid. Characters are fully developed. And there's enough naughtiness to keep me reading! Bring on the next book...

Seemed scattered, too many long winded love scenes and the ending was not well thought out just abrupt happily ever after.

Good read very much enjoyed and easy to work through.

Not awful
But not great. Was hurried, a bit annoying with the FMC always preaching and the MC not being even a little tougher. Was a good read but wouldn’t read twice.

I enjoyed the overall story of this book but the writing was not great.

Evelyn wants the chance to make her own choices. She has allowed her father to control her in order to please him. When he arranges her marriage and expects her to be happy, she can't pretend anymore. She doesn't have anything in particular against the alpha but doesn't like being taken for granted. She goes for a run to escape it all and meets Jeremy. He is a wolf from another pack and their packs don't get along at all - they are enemies. They both hide the relationship because they know he consequences if it all gets out. When it is discovered, the aftermath is brutal. I enjoyed the story. Evelyn is like most young woman in wanted to please her parents but also wanting some independence. Jeremy is someone who respects her and strengthens her resolve to make changes in her life. There is some real darkness when they are discovered and it shows who really loves and cares for them and wants them to be happy even at their own expense. I was sad to see how easy it was for people to turn on them so harshly. I received an ARC in return for a honest review.

This captivating story is a see saw of happiness, fear, loyalty, betrayal. Besides the love story, even the minor characters grow. There are the ones lost in their old ways, but many surprises unfold until the end when … you'll have to read it. Don't miss this one it is full length, no cliff hangers and satisfying story and characters. If you have not read any other books by Jasmine White, this one will make you a fan and you will get more.

Whole out on a pack run she splits off to be by herself and finds she has wandered into “Enemy” territory. Only the wolf/man she meets is anything but. He’s kind and caring and listens to her problems. Well one thing leads to another and they keep meeting in secret and fall in love. But war between the packs has been going on longer then she is alive. Will there ever be peace between the packs. And when she get caught what her own packs does to her is unspeakable. Well written and full of surprises. Very entertaining and enjoyable to read.

Bleh
I like Paranormal books. Shifter books are a favorite but this book was kind of bleh. Not as thrilling and exciting as others I have read.
I mean I finished the book but it wasn't riveting like I hoped. The title really doesn't fit the story either.

Good stuff
I enjoyed it through it was very interesting. Some issues that emerged were very real in our world such as ignorance and racism but it worked out well I very much enjoyed the book.
