The sizzling-hot Caldwell Brothers series—perfect for readers of J. S. Scott and Emma Chase—hits the Vegas strip as a bad-boy gambler from Detroit Rock City shows a single mom what it means to play for keeps.

For Morrison Caldwell, life is a game of chance. A high roller with a legendary poker face, he’s the wild card of the family, always chasing the next thrill and never staying put for long. The one place that always lures him back is Las Vegas, with its hot tables and even hotter women. He’s perfectly content to live his life as a series of one-night stands. But when a parking lot confrontation with a cocktail waitress takes a naughty turn, she leaves Morrison aching for another round.

After a long losing streak in Sin City, Hailey Poe is ready to get lucky. A steamy tryst with a cocky, mysterious stranger is the kind of no-strings encounter she’s been craving . . . until Morrison Caldwell asks for more than she’s willing to offer. But when Hailey’s controlling, soon-to-be ex-husband tries to take her daughter away, she can’t afford to turn down a helping hand. In this winner-takes-all game, Morrison is gambling with Hailey’s life—and her heart.

Yes, I haven't read the first book, but even though it's Morrison's brother you aren't lost or confused by what's going on now or what happened in the first book.

Morrison/Aces was a hot poker player who wanted to do good in the world in honor of his Momma. Hailey had so much bad stuff happen to her that it's amazing that she ever gave Morrison a chance. Morrison was funny and sweet and sexy and just perfect for Hailey. It took her too long to realize she loves him, and the first part did drag a little. Monte, her ex, needs to rot in a very dark hole.

DNF at 30% -

I'm not rating this book because I didn't finish it. I really didn't like Morrison - the way he talked, the way he referred to Hailey as platinum (even though that was a compliment)and his character for the first 21% of this book just totally turned me off from this story. This was not the book for me but it was a character issue for me - not the writing - so I would definitely read books by this author in the future. This particular book just wasn't for me.

When i start listening to this audiobook, i a hesitate. There are so many slang, street wprds and the cursing words that i thought i must be crazy choosing this book. But it turns out i do loke thos book. This book stars slow. The introduction of the characters start few chapters. We got to know Morrison and HAiley very weel. So when they finally met, i am already on the edge of bursting with curiosity.

The story is exucuted very well. The characters also develop very well. The chemistry is there.
The sex scene is surely hot. I only wish that the drama can be more darker.

This book! This series is so hot 🔥🔥🔥 With three hot, alpha brothers! They have had a hard life due to their loser father. Their mother passed away because of their irresponsible father. But, they are loyal and loving brothers and they defend each other always. Hendrix Book 1 was such a fun and unexpected read.
Morrison “Aces” Caldwell is the second brother and is known as the hot poker face.
While in Las Vegas he meets Hailey and they have an explosive one night stand. He goes against his one night stand and goes after Hailey!
Omgoodness what an explosive storyline! Action, hot sex and a traumatized Hailey fighting for her daughter.
Hailey is a tough heroine since she has no choice due to her jerk off and dangerous soon to be ex-husband.
I love the Caldwell Brothers they are very good looking and their females are strong.
I, of course enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next book.

Vegas lights. Suit Porn. A feisty woman. A little princess and more…

Morrison Caldwell is a hot, hunky, suit wearing gambler who takes care of his own. He’s had a rough life and knows what family is. Hailey Poe’s life has been one hard knock after another. She has no family to speak of and does whatever’s needed to survive. Until she meets Morrison and her life changes.

This isn’t the story of a broken woman whose life is better after she meets a rich man who saves her. No, this is the story of second chances for both people who fall in love. Morrison knows what it’s like to see the people he loves suffer at the hands of another. He doesn’t want Hailey to suffer anymore. Hailey has an independent streak a mile long and doesn’t want to “owe” anyone, especially a man. She is a strong, independent, resilient woman. She overcomes so much to find just what she needed on the other side.

I think I fell in love with Morrison as soon as he got in the car to follow a crying Hailey with no idea where she was going or what he would find. He’s tough on the outside but all soft and squishy on the inside. The love he feels for Hailey and her little are what every woman dreams of. No questions, just pure love. Even though, as women, we may doubt ourselves, we want the love romance books are made of :) Morrison, Hendrix and Jagger are wonderful men and any woman would be lucky to have them.

The feels in this book are so strong. I found myself constantly rooting for Morrison and Hailey, every step of the way. I even want to know more about Jared and Jagger. (And Ris Priss). ~ Heather, 5 stars

Another Caldwell Brother

Morrison is the card shark and has had a rough go of it in his life. He isn’t looking for anything for more than one night stands…that is until Hailey comes into the picture. Hailey is married to a loan shark and has left him. She’s trying to pay off the debt he has on her and her daughter.

Morrison is the man for the job to help Hailey out. This is definitely a sizzler that you want to get your hands on.

Morrison didn't have it easy growing up, his father damaged his view of relationships after how he hurt his mom. He'd rather have his family, his money, gambling, and his beautiful yellow Porsche. That's all enough for him, until he meets Hailey, not only is she beautiful in a different way than everyone else, but once he has a taste of her he knows he can't get enough. She's platinum. Hailey's been down on her luck since birth, known as Hard Luck in Vegas, she's stuck in a loveless marriage where she owes her husband for every penny she spends. Her only bright light is her daughter, Marissa. After a once in a lifetime chance to escape her marriage, Hailey takes it, but finds she still has a sum of money being held over her head. Morrison knows she won't accept his help, but she's got all his attention and he wants to be her good in the world. He'd do anything.

Hailey is definitely a down on her luck girl and she's so hardened to the world around her. I loved that as a reader we saw glimpses of this hopeful girl even when she experienced some awful moments. Her hope for her daughter is definitely something that makes me like Hailey, because she's determined. Plus, Marissa, her daughter, has some of the cutest and funniest moments in the book. She's a scene stealer. Morrison is a total alpha male, parts of him I liked a lot, parts of him I hated. He's arrogant, but he has one of the best inner monologues of any characters I've read in a while. His POV is just entertaining to read from, especially when he describes women. The story line itself is interesting, it's one that is realistic in the city of Vegas and many others. However, some of the twists in this book, though minor, really bring a new dimension to the gambling for your life plot line.

There is some language in this book that just left me feeling uncomfortable. I get the controlling nature of Morrison, I totally understand the world of sin city, but some of it doesn't at all make me feel like a loving relationship. That said, Morrison and Hailey make it work and their relationship comes together in a way that just makes sense. While I may not like the language, for them it works. I will admit, around 47% I thought the book was complete, it wasn't. I felt that way again at 75%. The book has several points where it just feels like it could be done, but it isn't. That said, the last portion of the book absolutely closes this chapter of the Caldwell brothers and I felt it worked.

This is book two in the Caldwell Brothers series, however it can absolutely be read as a standalone. There's some great sex scenes, a hot alpha male if that's your taste, and strong characters finding their good in a world of bad.

Many thanks to Netgalley for providing an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Morrison was a bit too much of a manwhore for me in the prior book. But I wanted to read his story. I got him. His inner thoughts in the beginning did not bother me. Frankly I was impressed by how he made something of himself and I had no issues with how he went about finding a woman for the night. He was single.

His obsession with Hailey made no sense though. It was insta to the max. But I went with it.

Morrison is the epitome of a good man in this book when it came to Hailey and her daughter. He stepped up and did all the right things for them. It was truely impressive!! Plus his relationship with little Marissa was awesome!

The book was a bit too fast. I wanted more.

I ended up really enjoying it!

I loved this book. The Caldwell brothers may not be perfect by society standards, but they are what any woman would want in a man. They're loyal and have heart like their mother. They bring good in the world of bad. Morrison may have the reputation on a ladies man and bedding many women, but he may just have met his match in Hailey. Hailey has found herself stuck in a life she never wanted for herself let alone her beautiful daughter. The night she is boxed in by Morrison is the night that will change her life forever. I loved Morrison's nick name for Hailey Little Momma. The way Morrison treats her daughter and their Wednesday date nights melt my heart. You root for these guys, but especially Hailey you want her to get that HEA. To see Hailey experience what a true family lives is something special.

Hotness Rating 3 out of 5

After reading the first book of the Caldwell Brothers series I considered myself a fan. Morrison, the second book in this series has cemented my utter devotion to the dynamic writing duo Chelsea Camaron and M.J. Fields. This series revolves around the 3 Caldwell brothers who were pretty much spawned by the devil, but fortunate enough to have an angel for a mother. For years they stood powerless while their father beat their mother while she gave everything she had to protect them. As they grew older the tables turned and they were no longer powerless they were the ones that protected their mother at all cost.

Morrison Caldwell may have lost his mom to cancer, but her love and lessons forever marked him. He has spent his adult life proving that he is no longer that poor, beaten down kid from Detroit. If there is one thing his father taught him it's how to read people. This has served him well. Morrison is pretty famous in the gambling circuits. He is definitely a man to be reckoned with. He exudes sex, power and money. He commands respect, but doesn't hesitate to give it back.

Born to a prostitute mother that she loved with all her heart Hailey Poe learned early on that life is a series of checks and balances. This was proven even more true when her mom's pimp/her father pretty much sold her to the wealthy and powerful Monte at the young age of 17. Everything Monte provided for Hailey he kept track of and expected her to work off in "wifely" duties. The only good thing he did for was give her their daughter, but even that was added to her debt column. One day he just released her from their marriage and gave her 3 months to settle her debt or else Hailey knew she was never going to make it out alive, but she never gave up.

I loved this couple. Morrison was such a study in contrast. There were times when he came across as an arrogant, heartless jerk, but when he learned of Hailey's story and was face to face with her little girl he was a big old mushball. His never ending patience with Hailey's lack of faith in humanity and fears was sigh-worthy. I loved how he called Hailey little momma and her daughter little Chick. It made me smile every time. His explanation on the different types of women (ass) made me laugh out loud and his pledge to fulfill his deathbed promise to his mother to "be the good in a world of bad" made me tear up. Hailey was a likeable character that broke my heart and inspired me all at once. Once "free" it was so hard for her to take the leap of faith and let someone help her, but she could never have done it without help. She was the best mom and such a hard worker I just wanted her to accept the good that was being offered to her so bad.

I seriously can not say enough about this book and cannot wait to start Jagger's story.

**JOSIE'S 4.5 STAR REVIEW**

OMG!!! Wow these Caldwell Brothers are so HOT!!! Morrison is the second book in this series, and I fell in love again. Ms. Camaron and Ms. Fields have written another stellar edition to this series. We go from the lights of Vegas back to New Jersey during this book and I LOVED IT. Once you read the prologue you are expecting a damaged woman and a man whore, but that is not what we get in Morrison’s story. Nope what we get is action, steamy scenes, a feisty woman, an adorable princess and one dirty mouthed suit wearing gambling man who gets what he wants.

Morrison and his brothers have had a hard life, but Morrison has not let that stop him from going after what he wants. He has a strong connection with his brothers, and cherishes that family bond. Hailey’s life was hard and broke my heart. She has been let down and has been rung out through the ringer more times than she can count. Forced to marry a man she does not love and into a life she dreads, her only focus is to get her and her daughter away. Hailey and Morrison’s life changes when the two cross paths. One very steamy and hot night turns into something neither expected.

Morrison never expected Hailey’s life to be so bad that she would be running. Once Hailey reveals who her husband is and how he is calling in her debt, and the debt being the little girl Marissa, things change for Morrison. Morrison realizes that he can’t walk away. He has this unexplainable pull to Hailey and even more so now that there is pretty little girl in the mix. Hailey is far from a broken woman. She does not need a man or help from anyone, but when Morrison offers her an escape she knows she has to take it. She is a strong, liberated and feisty woman throughout this story we see her character overcome so much.

I fell in love with Morrison the moment he followed Hailey in his Porsche and gave up his life in Las Vegas so that she and her daughter could be safe. Hailey and Morrison and perfect together, they both have so much in common. They are both tough characters, both have been let down in their lives and both just needed for the tables to turn just once. Morrison has this intense love and need for Hailey and her daughter that he was willing to sacrifice everything to keep them from harm. Morrison and Hailey would find something that neither knew they were missing in life, a family of their own. Oh god, this is one book you want to pick up. If you loved the first in this series than you NEED to grab this one. I just loved it!

Oh, YES !! I cry !! This book ROCKED !!!. I have being drumming my fingers trying to be patient, waiting for this book to be released. I saw it on Netgalley and I could NOT type my request fast enough.

I can honestly say I have not read one book from Chelsea or MJ Fields that has not been awesome......this book is no exception.

This is book 2 in the Caldwell bros series and is Morrison and Hailey's story. Hailey is a single mum and in my opinion was perfect for Morrison. Hailey really came out of nowhere and challenged everything Morrison might have thought he wanted out of a women.

Hailey needed her HEA and thank god Morrison gave it to her !!!.This story was such a powerful, emotional read. I enjoyed every word, line, paragraph and chapter......praise is high then I hope you recognise !!

I am absolutely smitten with the Caldwell brother. God I wish there was a football team of them.....mmmmmhhhh 11 books would be fabulous !!!

Would I recommend ? In a heart beat.

Do I want the next book ?.....hear my breath hitch and see my pupils dilate !! That would be a HELL YEAH !!

Outstanding story Chelsea and MJ !!

I received a copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads

3 1/2 stars
After reading Hendrix and just loving it i was completely on board for Morrison. Unfortunately I found myself a little disappointed. I guess i just couldn't relate to Morrison's slick persona or his complete and total "instalove" for someone he has just one encounter with in a parking lot. After many card, poker, card game innuendos later I'm not sure I completely bought what Morrison was selling.
He grew on me a little by the end but I had to really work at finishing the book. Hailey was
interesting enough but I didn't totally get behind her either. I found Morrison almost "too perfect". Bailing Hailey out, taking on her mob husband, loving her daughter like his own, bringing her home to Detroit, all after knowing her a week. I'd like to give the author the benefit of the doubt and I hope for a better read with Jagger.

This is an honest review for an ebook received.

Hope is the single strongest feeling you can have.

Hailey Poe has led a rough life. From the outside looking in, she seems blessed with a daughter who is her world and husband who provides the finer things in life. But the reality is, she is with a man that has owned her since she was younger and she’s secretly trying to get free. When help from a handsome stranger, although unwanted, finally breaks her free will she let down her guard and finally let someone in?

“You own me. You own my heart, my soul, my desire, my attention at all times.”

Morrison Caldwell is a card shark. He’s always done well for himself at the tables and with the ladies. But when his odds change, and two people, besides his family, become important to him, he will stop at nothing to bring them peace and freedom. When the cards are stacked agaist them, he’s all in for his girls.

My Queen of Heart who owns my everything.

4 1/2 stars! To say I love Morrison is an understatement. How he is with Hailey and her daughter was amazing. I loved watching them both grow throughout the story.

5 star Review Morrison (Caldwell Brothers #2) by Chelsea Camaron & M.J. Fields

After reading Hendrix I could not wait to see what Chelsea Camaron & M.J.Fields had in store for Morrison (Ace) Caldwell and Hailey Poe. These authors write well together, I have no idea who wrote what or where one ended and the other took over, their writing was seamless.

Not sure where to start with this review. From the start I was all in and riveted to Morrison and Hailey’s story. The fact that Hailey is a single mum to For Morrison Caldwell, life is a game of chance. A high roller with a little girl and she is dealing with a nightmare of a soon to be ex and I couldn’t put this one down.

Hailey has not had it easy, but when Morrison goes to bat for her and her daughter, my heart just about melted. All he has to do is convince her to take a chance on him and let him help. Easy, I think not.

These characters and their story quickly burrowed into my heart and I was really cheering for them to get the happily ever after they both, particularly Hailey deserved.

I love a book when the words just fly off the page and before you know it your at the end. I enjoyed this book, if you need to get out of a bad book funk this did it for me. The letter at the end that Hailey wrote for her daughter made me tear up with her words, "you are the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside".

Morrison was such a different guy than I thought he would be. Going into this, I knew he was a big deal in Vegas and that he loved his women. But in the beginning of this, we really get a glimpse into what made him the man he is today.

Yes, he's a bit materialistic in the beginning, but I got it. He grew up with a father that was abusive to him and his mother and then didn't have shoes without holes in them or other necessities. So I understood why he wanted to rack up money and have nice things that he didn't have as a kid. That being said, I did find his classifications of the different types of ladies a bit chauvinistic (and him bringing the same thing back up in the middle of a proposal was a big turn off for me and a bit awkward). But Morrison was so much more than that and I had mad respect for him when he put Hailey and Riss Priss first, even above his material possessions.

Morrison is out on the strip, racking in the dough, when he runs into the hot-headed Hailey. That encounter turns into a very hot one and one that leaves Morrison wanting more of the fiery lady.

Hailey was a stubborn but incredibly strong woman. She grew up the daughter of a hooker with a pimp for daddy. That same pimp sold her to another guy who she ended up marrying and having a daughter with. She's been under his control for years now, but she's finally at a point where she has to run from him to protect her daughter. Morrison comes to her rescue and takes her back to his home in Detroit. The Caldwells embrace Hailey and Marissa, but Hailey is still hesitant to trust and let others in. I get it, I really do, but she was a bit too stubborn for my liking (especially her whole 'I don't want to be owned or owe someone something - checks and balances' mentality). She does loosen up towards the end of the book, but her attitude is a bit hard to get over. I did respect her tremendously for putting her daughter first and protecting her. She was an incredible mom and very independent.

And little Riss Priss was just absolutely adorable. I love books that include cute kids. Her relationship with Morrison was incredibly sweet and again, I loved that he treated Riss as though she was his own daughter.

The whole part with Hailey's ex is a bit weird. I would have loved to have a little more explanation on things. It was all a bit weird and left me not quite sure what to think of the guy.

The book is hot, sweet, heartbreaking, frustrating but ultimately a very good book in the series. And of course, they had to bring in the whole underwear butt-rubbing quirkiness of Liv from Book 1, which I could have done without again (although they at least made it a little less awkward in this one and even Hailey thought Liv was a bit weird).

This is the second book in the Caldwell series about brother Hendrix, Morrison, Jagger. It can be read as a standalone. The first book (Hendrix) does feature Morrison, so if you do read it in order you'll get some insight.

Morrison is an alpha male, but he's also a a really nice guy, and easy to connect with but for every hot man, there's a sexy challenging women in this case it's Hailey. She hasn't had the best start in life, which instantly wins you over and your behind her 100% of the way. Hailey and Morrison are both solid likeable characters. They have great chemistry, where one pushes the other pulls breaking through their tough outer layers.

Morrison is hot, dramatic and funny, it caters for everyone. I read it over 2 nights.

I would happily recommend it and give it a big fat 4 stars, and look forward to the next book in the set.

I was gifted a copy of this book from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

No I didn’t read the first book in this series but I’m on my way right now to one click it. Once I started Morrison’s story I couldn’t put it down. Morrison is one of three strong men raised by their now deceased Momma. Their beloved Momma led a hard life but raised her boys to bring good to the world, not bad.
Morrison Caldwell aka Aces has two faces, the loving brother that would do anything for his two brothers and sister in law and the high roller gambling shark with places in Vegas and Atlantic City. When he hits those towns he becomes an arrogant, pompous guy who loves the glitz and glamour and especially loves the women. He’s committed to not being committed and plans to never fall in love and his jaded attitude towards women will turn you off. But then he meets Hailey, has wild parking lot sex with her and can’t get her out of his mind. Hailey comes with her own baggage. Young, with a daughter and a desire to gain the independence she has never had. Her husband is the low life villain in Sin City that runs the games and bought Hailey in a card game. Morrison can’t get Hailey out of his mind and eventually takes up Hailey’s fight for independence.
When Morrison falls, he falls hard and in his own words has no problems turning his balls over to Hailey if that makes her feel better and makes her love him. Morrison is patient with Hailey and I don’t know if I loved the romance between Morrison and Hailey the best or Morrison’s loving relationship with Ris-Priss, Hailey’s daughter, and their weekly date night. Hailey fights her love and holds onto her fear of being controlled again but finally has to let down all the barriers when she realizes Morrison loves her and wants only her heart and not to control her life.
The author made the emotions jump from the page and I definitely felt Morrison and Hailey’s struggles. I especially felt the strong family bond between Morrison and his brothers. Their beloved Momma raised three men who know how to treat a woman and put her on a pedestal. So many of these types of romances feel contrived but I felt this one with my heart. Loved Morrison, now going to read about the other brothers.

Note: This ARC was provided by Loveswept in exchange for an honest review.

Morrison is the second novel in the Caldwell Brothers series from the writing duo of M.J. Fields and Chelsea Camaron. Book two is about the middle Caldwell brother, Morrison, a professional card player who has made a name for himself in known gambling cities, but it's Vegas that he truly considers his playground. It's there that he meets Hailey Poe, a woman who has recently separated from her card shark husband who has a reputation in the city as well. Hailey's life is centered on her young daughter, so she chose to bide her time while her husband treated her terribly. In her, Morrison sees someone who reminds him of his mother and what she went through with her sons' alcoholic and abusive husband. As much as he helps Hailey and wants more from her, he doesn't want her to be with him out of indebtedness.

Morrison and Hailey's relationship went in a direction that pleasantly surprised me, as did Morrison's choice to take things at a much slower pace than I would have expected, given his reputation when it comes to women, one that was established in the first book. There were times that I felt Hailey was a tad unappreciative of Morrison basically upending his life for her, but then I also get that her marriage traumatized her and her priority was her daughter and creating a better and more independent life for themselves. The closeness among the three Caldwell brothers--Hendrix, Morrison, and Jagger--is one of the hallmarks of the series and how they're ready to drop anything and everything when one of them needs help, whether asked for or not. I'm looking forward to Jagger's story next. Four stars for Morrison! ♥

“Aces, Kings, Queens, Jacks, and Spades- my world is one hand at a time. The read, the game, and the ability to walk away as the unexpected winner, that’s how I roll. Life is a game of chances and not a game of hearts.” Morrison Caldwell.

Morrison Caldwell, the middle Caldwell brother is the wild card. He is the gambler that surprisingly does know his limits. He has a sort of routine that makes you just adore him. He gets off the plane, goes to a slot machine and then based on a win or lose he plans his night. He is ritualistic which I find to be a new character trait I have never read before. Usually you would think that a gambler would not identify his limits, but Morrison does. wild card 5439

Basically the Caldwell family is featuring a brother in each novel. So for me I am a Jared Caldwell nut, fanatic, stalker and well I do admit to labeling myself as the future Mrs Caldwell. Jared doesnt know it but we are destined to be together. Jared is not part of the three brothers so I am desperate for his novel but next is Jagger. While I loved Morrison for his planning and devious mind when it comes to finance, I want Jagger. Jagger is a serious #WaitingOnWednesday.

Anyways I loved Hailey, the obviously broken girl with a past that is dark. I do love dark and this story killed it! The first few chapters show how this world is just evil. Hailey remains a planner and a few plot twists here have you stuttering for sure, she was so cool. I wont go into some of the plot twist but the one that stands in my mind was towards the end with Monte. WOW I was stunned and don't want to believe him, but its so realistic that maybe I do.

I say it is a must read, so grab it now!

I read this book first time around back in 2016 and I have to say it was wonderful connecting once again with the Caldwell brothers. This book has all the feels and I highly recommend you one click now.
Where do I start this book had me from page one and I fell for Morrison (Ace) hook line and sinker......
This is the second stand-alone in The Caldwell Brothers series and this is Morrison and Hailey's story but there is quite a bit of input from the other Caldwell's and their families.
Morrison is Vegas he plays the game, drives a Porsche, wears smart clothes and designer sunglasses but underneath it all he still has the Caldwell family values......
Hailey has not had it easy she was won in a poker game, has a little girl and now has to pay the debt back to her Ex for her freedom.....
A chance meeting between these two and sparks fly but will Hailey let Morrison help her and will Morrison except that its not going to happen overnight. He needs to give her space, take his time and show her what real love and families do for each other.....
Hailey deserved her HEA and I'm so pleased that Morrison gave it to her.
I fell in love with Hendrix but it seems that as each brother comes along I fall even harder for the next one. I am a fan of both these authors but together they are phenomenal. This book has it all romance, some very hot sex, some laughs along the way and off course a HEA
Can't wait for to see what tweaks have been made to Jagger's story

4 Platinum Stars

We meet Morrison in Hendrix and to be honest I wasn't sure I was going to like him much. He was a complete manwh0re who tended to have 2 women at once. This book showed a completely different side to him and I have to admit I totally fell in love with him, while in the first story he was a complete playboy and a slick operator in this story he is so sweet and caring.

Hailey has had a hard life she was the daughter of a prostitute and her pimp and earned the nickname Hard Knocks. I loved her sassy attitude although sometimes she could have done with lowering her walls a little earlier. She loved Marisa unconditionally and would do anything to protect to her from her monster of a father.

Morrison’s attitude changes pretty quickly once he meets Hailey, I loved how he treated Wheels like he was a human instead of the way others treated him and his relationship with Marisa was so freaking beautiful especially since he didn't seem to want or like children. He treated Hailey like a queen and was very protective over her and also Marisa.

This story was so sad to read at times but was also completely beautiful. The relationships that developed in this story warmed my heart and I loved the writing style of both these authors.

I can't wait to see what happens with the last Caldwell brother and also where the others end up.
