THE NEW GIRL: Seventeen year old Steph has her heart set on a new beginning… for the eleventh time. A move to Webster Grove introduces her to a new school, new friends, and new experiences- including a few tender glances from her sexy English teacher. After signing up for a costuming position on the school production of Romeo and Juliet, co-directed by none other than the gorgeous Mr. Rivera, Steph soon learns the difficulties of withstanding the pursuit of forbidden love.
UNDER THE MISTLETOE It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Webster Grove, but seventeen year old Steph isn’t in the mood to celebrate. When Mr. Rivera’s attitude goes from bad to worse, Steph makes it her number one priority to help the Christmas Grinch rekindle his relationship with the holiday spirit. Meanwhile, Webster Grove High’s newest student, Isaac Peyton, is raising the eyebrows of every girl in school, and keeping Steph on her toes with his questionable motives. With the days ticking by, all Steph wants is to turn a seemingly blue Christmas into a holiday she’ll never forget…
SECRETS TO KEEP: Secrets, secrets, are no fun! And with each day that passes in Webster Grove, eighteen-year-old Steph is learning that lesson the hard way. Between dodging stares, kisses, and mixed signals from the man of her dreams, Steph has more on her plate than she can handle. With wedding plans officially underway for the Rivera/Ghijk wedding, Steph is working overtime to lose weight and finally fit into a tiny bridesmaid gown. And if all that’s not enough, she’s pulled into a lie that forces her to start holding up appearances with a new (fake) boyfriend. With her three best friends at her side, and one beautiful man in her heart, Steph has to decide if happily ever after is worth the wait…
COMING OUT: Eighteen year old Steph is facing many uncertainties, and the problems just keep piling up! Secrets from the past are slowly unraveling, close relationships are falling apart, and big revelations stand to test the strength of true friendships. Will love and forgiveness be enough to conquer all of the truths that are coming out? Steph can’t find the answer, but she’s praying she can figure it out before she leaves for Paris… if she decides to go at all.
ALL GOOD THINGS: After five years of working side-by-side in Paris with one of the most esteemed fashion designers in the industry, twenty-three year old Steph Ghijk has packed her bags and returned to the States. Upon her arrival in the familiar town of Webster Grove, Steph takes on a directing position for the high school drama production – putting her in very close quarters with a man who hasn’t quite forgiven her for her long overdue return. Unable to choose between her heart and her head, Steph is taking each day at a time… and hoping the love she once had will be the final love of her life.

First, I apologize in advance for the author due to the harsh words in this review..
I genuinely think that this book is an ideal gift for people you loath and you want to see them suffer such intense mental agony..
I can't believe I've been excited to have it *hits head on the desk*
The first book was all right. It was even funny at times and ok. But the second book took a downhill dive. Every character was starting to obsess over ABCDEF GHIJK, sorry Steph like that should've been a warning enough. It was starting to get ridiculous. By the fourth book, I felt the writer make up twists as she goes e.g.
I know Dean, me too.. not going to go into Steph 'coz that is another migrane for me x(
Add to that the ridiculous dialogue and plotlines.. I don't even remember what the hell was everything about.

"The ladies call me Nathaniel--" "The ladies call you revolting" she spat at him
"Screw handsome. Screw good-looking. Alexander Rivera was, hands down, the sexiest man I'd ever met in my life."
REVIEW - Humor, romance and a sexy English teacher...this book series has it all! I don't just recommend it, I prescribe it! If you are a crazy romantic like me then this is without a doubt the book for you! It is the cure to your addiction!
Alexander Rivera *sigh* He is my addiction and no matter how many times I re-read this series I can't seem to find the cure. There is no cure to being absolutely head over heels in love with a Rivera.
Steph Ghijk knows all about being head over heels in love with Alexander Rivera and he pretty much feels the exact same way. The problem? Oh its nothing...Alex Rivera just happens to be Mr Rivera, a 26 year old Hispanic English teacher at Webster Grove High. The high school in which Steph now attends...as a student. To make matters worse, 18 houses and 11 schools later Stephs mum has finally decided to stop running from her past and settle down after finding love in the shape of none other than Webster Grove's very own Calvin Rivera, Alex Rivera's older brother, making it near impossible for both Steph and Alex to keep there feelings hidden. Things go from bad to worse with each novella making each just as good as they next. No one ever said love was easy and this book series shows just how hard it really is. But when your love interest is Alexander Rivera, the sweetest most caring man in the world, it's definitely worth all that hardship and more...
The Webster Grove series is a complete collection of 5 small novellas: The New Girl, Under the Mistletoe, Secrets to Keep, Coming Out, and All Good Things. It was written by none other than Tracie Puckett, author of Just a Little Series and my new all time favorite author!!
Words cannot describe how Amazing this book series truly is. It is the fairy-tail of all fairy-tails. Check it out and see if this book series has the happy ever after all fairy-tails promise to be. I assure you, you won't be disappointed!
5 fantastic stars for the Webster Grove series! I stumbled upon this relatively unknown collection of 5 short stories which combine into an amazing story of love between teacher and student. The collection of stories written by author Tracie Puckett can be purchased and read together, as if they are an entire novel. I found this series on a long list of novels about teacher/student relationships on Goodreads. There were only 16 reviews written for this collection of stories at the time, but the reviews were outstanding, so I couldn't resist.
Steph Ghijk is a high school senior, new to Webster Grove after her mother has moved them to her eighteenth house and school number eleven. She has never lived in one place long enough to establish roots and make good friends. Through it all, Steph has maintained a perfect GPA, and she strives to be an award-winning clothes designer. Alex Rivera is her senior English teacher of Cuban descent. Their relationship develops slowly throughout her senior year, is strictly emotional and very sweet. They both are very patient, both waiting for Steph to graduate so they can finally be together.
The side characters in these stories were so awesome! Steph meets some amazing friends, the kind of friends that will always be there for you throughout your life, family. She also is able to enjoy and participate in a great school year, something she has never had because of her mom's compulsiveness to move around.
I am hesitant to say much more about the Webster Grove series because I want readers to experience the goodness of it as they read. Take a chance and read this!
This was an excellent series. Although the idea of an attraction occurring between a teacher and student with a nine-year age difference was slightly disturbing at first, the author did an outstanding job at making this seem acceptable. There were unexpected twists and turns that kept me engaged and wanting more which made it difficult to put my iPad down. As a fifteen-year-old girl, I thoroughly enjoyed this series, and although I feel that many books need more sequels, I felt that this series ended at just the right time. It was not dragged out or leaving me hanging. I suggest this book to anyone who is taking the time to read this review.
The Webster Grove series was a freebie I picked up on Amazon.co.uk and I loved this series of Mini novels. I read it all in one sitting that kept me up till 5.55am Tracie Puckett did a really great job writing this series. I look forward to reading more by her.
This series is funny, romantic, and well written. I think the books were too short, and they could have been compiled into one large book, but I really enjoyed reading this series. It might not be very realistic, but it catches your interest, and you can't put it down.
Not too bad for a self published book, mainly bc this author seems to know how to hook a reader.
Normally I HATE self published books (except Tarryn fishers books of course) and normally wouldn't rate one so high.
So my question is y didn't she just try harder to get her books published? So much potential there. So many things wrong with this book; on the cover the girl looks 14, so many inconsistencies in character personalities, wrong dates, predictable (mostly), I felt like everything was TOO convenient (there is fate, and there is just plain unrealistic destinies...I mean HEAs for EVERYONE?), every potentially great book needs an editor!!! I could be so mean about this book bc it made me angry at times...not bc it gave me the feels, but bc any surprise plot twist (ok only like one or two that weren't predictable) just wasn't consistent to the beginning of the book or true to a characters nature.
Good thing about this book though: once you pick this up you can't put it down, bc the author knows how to keep you hooked!
dnf'ed at 58%. fuck, where do i even start with the dumpster fire this is?
relationship progresses way too fast. steph becomes way too mary sue-ish. unnecessary amount of unrealistic drama. and so much more fucking problems that i don't even want to finish reading the entire thing.
tldr: this book reads like something a 14 year old would write on wattpad. that's all you need to know.
3.5 rating overall for the whole series, enjoyed it! (:
What I rated each individual part of the Webster Grove series: The New Girl (#1)- 1.5/5 Stars Under the Mistletoe (#2)- 3/5 Stars Secrets to Keep (#3)- 3/5 Stars Coming Out (#4)- 4/5 Stars All Good Things (#5)- 4/5 Stars
If you are a romance lover like me, and are looking for a sweet quick series to read, then look no further!
I thoroughly enjoyed the Webster Grove series, there were times I wanted to rip my hair out from frustration, and times I was giggling with happines! This series is about a forbidden romance between a student and her gorgeous english teacher. When I fist started the Webster Grove series, I was a little nervous, I had recently read a student-teacher romance novel which I did not like one bit. Thankfully though the Webster Grove series ended up being such a sweet read!
The Webster Grove series is a novel that has all 5 short novella's put together, as you can see from my ratings above I didn't really enjoy book 1 that much (The New Girl) it wasn't that it was bad by any means, I just found it rather well, boring. Books 2 and 3 (Under the Mistletoe, Secrets to Keep) picked up the story a little bit, and book 4 and 5 totally rocked my socks off! If you start this series and are not really feeling it, PLEASE stick with it! It gets better and ends AMAZINGLY!! I really loved the ending.
There is alot of drama in the Webster Grove series, which I really actually enjoyed. After I got past part 1 & 2 things got really interesting and the book completely kept me on the edge of my seat needing to know what was going to happen to Steph and Mr. Rivera (and everyone else for that matter). After I got past part 1 & 2 there really wasn't a dull moment.
Since book 1 I didn't enjoy as much my overall rating had to come down to a 3.5 out of 5. Even though that may not seem like the best rating, I did really enjoy this series and would recommend it to any romance lover that wants a quick light read! This series had an amazing cast of characters, some good twists, great romance, and a perfect ending!
-I am currently in the middle of Tracie's other series 'Just a Little' and I am SO hooked on it! Will review the whole series once all the novella's are out (:
I finished the entire series in a day. The storyline had me hooked from the moment I started reading the first book.
As an individual rating:
The New Girl: 3/5- really enjoyed the overall aspects however it lacked the general expectations I have of a book e.g. Explaining certain situations and possibly some background info on particular characters.
Under The Mistletoe: 4/5- this book was extremely gripping due to the dramatic storyline and the way the characters respond to the situation. In my opinion this is the best book in the entire series!
Secrets To Keep: 3/5- I didn't enjoy this one nearly as much as I enjoyed the second one however it had moments of humour and moments of showing how love changes your life completely.
Coming out: 4/5- I couldn't put the book down because I was totally obsessed with the overall storyline of the series, however this was my least favourite book. I possibly read into things too much but I feel like the direction this book took was to show you a different sign of people. Also quite humorous during the graduation. The end of the book left an AMAZING cliffhanger situation although I believe the way it happened was unrealistic due to the way the characters acted in previous books.
All Good Things: 5/5- when I read the description I didn't think I was going to enjoy this book as I totally shipped Alexander& Steph, however the way that they met again and the whole situation of meeting an ex-boyfriend and realising that you still love him more than anything is highly realistic. I thought it was going to seem fake, it was anything but fake and in fact more real than I could think a book could be.
Overall the entire series of books are stunning and I will be rereading these books and starting others by Tracie Puckett.
This is the full series and I loved it! Steph (I laughed at her "given" name for a while - you'll understand when you read the book) is a sweet yet shyish person who has moved around way too much due to her neuortic mother. Too many towns, too many houses, too many schools so she never really formed any attachments.
On day one she meets her soon to be bestfriends Nate and Bridgette and is attracted by her English Teacher Mr.Rivera. Steph will soon finds out that mummy dearest might actually hand around long enough in this town due to a sudden love interest. Also, throw into the mix blast from the pasts, unexpected bonds and relationships that blindside you.
This is a beautifully written story about respect, trust, betrayal, happiness, sadness, friendship, lust, love and a whole lot of other goofy things. Give it a read - you'll enjoy it.
"When you said you'd marry me, that's what you got. The good and the bad. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best-" "Marilyn Monroe," I noted, having loved that quote for quite some time. "Nice touch." Calvin took a moment to suppress his anger and smirk. "I thought it worked there-" "No, it does. Continue."
Bridget and I had spent the last six hours following Mom all around the city, hopping from wedding boutiques to small-scale gown outlets, and even hitting a few of the big chains. The cool part of being the daughter of a friendless mother is that I get to play Maid of Honor opposite of Calvin's Best Man - Alexander Rivera, himself. Bridget was getting in on the action by carrying out the role of an additional bridesmaid. Thus, we were stuck helping Bridezilla plan everything from location to centerpieces.
This book was amazing, I read the first novel on the series and knew I had complete the story of Alex and Steph.Beautifully written and the relationship between them was soo cute and romantic that it didn't matter most of the time that he was in love with his student and she was in love with her teacher. The only thing I wish happened at the end of the series was that her mother could come and face the music and admit that she was wrong in every way possible. I never expected to continue reading this series for 7-8 hours straight(sleeping time)But it was too good to put down and it was well worth having about 2 hours sleep. PS: I still can't get over the fact that she was name Abcdef Ghijk
This book is different from the teacher student relationships you normally hear about. They argue constantly, blackmail is an issue, and with Alex Rivera and Abcdef Ghijk (and yes that is her real name; if you don't believe me, read it yourself!), the heart throb English Teacher, things could not get any more complicated. Oh wait, they do! With Alex's Grandmother interfering at every possible interval, they have a hard time coming together in the end. It may be five years after she graduates, but the commencement of a true relationship is tricky all the same.
Overall the family dramas, secrets kept and revealed, make this an enticing read. Make sure you read all the books for the ending as it is worth it.
Because of all the darkness and intensity of the A Song of Ice and Fire series books I was reading, I bought Webster Grove by Tracie Puckett on a whim. Usually, I'm not a romance reader.
I was prepared to dislike it because, come on!, an affair between a high school teacher and one of his student? That's kind of gross. But actually, the result was cute and endearing and if you like light-hearted stories, go for it. Because of some twists I would I have noted it 3.5 stars, but all in all the story was so cheerful that I'll round it up to 4 stars.
Also I can state that no one is beheaded or put in dungeon cells ;-)
I was drawn in by the characters and their stories. Alex was sweet and likeable and I got why Steph liked him. Her story with her mother was heartbreaking. Only annoying thing was that it was told in five parts so that each new part had to recap past events, like, I don't need that, I'm already reading this in one sitting.
I liked this series, but it had way too many similarities to the Just a Little series. I don't think I enjoyed it as much because of that and the writing wasn't quite as good. I do think the author has a knack for teen romance, and hopefully she will continue to write in the future.
The 5th part just felt like a completely different story/tone/author. It ruined everything that came before, for me. It's a sweet, clean, little romance story that I wouldn't want to read again based on the ending. Too bad.
Lovelovelove. Just as cute as the "Just a little" series and a lot a like it I loved these books and want more but I know it needs to be left as is and that's okay!
