Sweet, cozy and warm. Magical, funny, and just gives you all the good feels.
Lucie and Kazrian story had me from the start. The Honeycomb and all the magical baking elements. I always enjoy hearing about the pixies, the brownies and the sprites. And there is no Bloomhaven without Lady Rivenna (a complete plot twist with her I did not see coming). I do believe she is getting soft in her old age.
I loved, loved Balthazar and his whole demeanor. Mr grumpy cat. I really enjoyed the role he played and how protective he was.
Once again the world building in this series is truly amazing and captivating.
We definitely need more men like Kazrian in the world. He is a gentleman and he fixes things. I mean.... what more do we need.
The yearning always always delivers. The want and the staring. Showing up for her whenever is needed. The confessions that always sound like poetry.
I did miss hearing or reading about the rest of Bloomhaven. Alot of the story was based at the honeycomb.
But most of it was from Lucie's POV and she is human. So we got to experience a different side of Bloomhaven.
It was a great read with a beautiful ending.

I'm in shock.
That was so much more exquisitely emotionally heart-wrenching than I ever anticipated, and the warmth of the setting made me feel like I was living in a honey-drenched bakery. This series just gets better and better and better!

What a heartwarming story—I loved this book, yet another in this series that’s definitely one of my favorites now.
I was so excited that these two characters got their happy ending! So many years of “secret” love—because they thought they were hiding their feelings well, haha—and I’m so pleased with how it all turned out.
Sweet, sweet Kazrian! He’s a wonderful guy—a total cinnamon roll—smart, kind, and very chivalrous. And he loved Lucie so much, it almost hurt. He won my heart.
And Lucie—she’s lovely and adorable, and she goes through a journey that leads her to realize that most of the time, we put the pressure and high expectations on ourselves. And that you don’t need to be perfect to be valued and loved.
Some people might not like the story’s pace, since it’s slower, but in this case I think it works, because it’s about rebuilding a relationship that ended painfully—and after years, it starts to come back together little by little, since at first Kazrian and Lucie feel very fragile and cautious around each other.
There was so much YEARNING in this story... And that’s something I love about these books—they’re very sweet, but not in a cloying way; instead, they make you feel deeply and SWOON over the romance! 🫠 *sigh of tenderness*
Another thing I appreciate about this author is how she weaves the stories together starting from the first book in the series, with small details that we later see in subsequent books. You can tell that everything is perfectly organized.
I really enjoyed seeing the other beloved characters in this family and getting a glimpse of how their stories continue. Although I missed seeing Aurelise and Ryder! They’re my favorites so far, but they’re only mentioned in passing.
Lady Rivenna and Balthazar (the cat) are great, and I really enjoyed their dynamic. Obviously, they exist on a higher level than the rest haha.
I’m totally excited for the next book, and I CAN’T WAIT to read Rosavyn’s story!! And I hope I’m right in my guess about who the mmc will be 🤞🏻

This may be my favorite story in the series so far. I really enjoyed the time jump element in this book. It wasn’t a huge detail, but I think it felt more realistic that the siblings weren’t finding their happiness one right after the other each season, as if taking turns. I also think it did a good job at setting up the initial conflict/awkwardness between Lucie and Kazrian. I enjoyed seeing the various earlier couples throughout this book, even though Aurelise and Ryden were only there in mentions. I also loved how clueless both Lucie and Kazrian were when it came to how obvious their feelings had been to the others in the Rowanwood family throughout the years. I think it was sweet as well that while Lucie’s family wasn’t originally aware, they supported her with little objection (once they saw them together). Henry was an absolutely well-done horrible character. Though I do wish we had gotten to see him fall a little further from grace.

The slow burn could NOT have been better. I loved how Lucie's work was as important to her as Kazrian was. It wasn't just about the romance, but her feeling accepted in a society that usually treated people like her as outcasts.
Lady Rivenna was spectacular per usual, and I liked Kazrian way better than I expected to.

The writing was whimsical, funny, sweet and touched on important subjects like class difference, accepting people for who they are, societal expectations, etc. 💛 I loved how it was human and fae falling in love but I will say that I expected more drama because of this. Certain scenes and time jumps felt too abrupt for me, I would've loved a 'longer' book to draw out the scenes. I enjoyed seeing the story from Lucie's POV though and experiencing this world through her 'human-ness.' A unique story with a very sweet ending! 🍯🐝💛

Kazrian has spent the last three years away from Bloomhaven but has returned to help his grandmother open her new confectionery: the Honeycomb. The building is causing magical mayhem, and Kazrian's magic can fix it. When he arrives, he finds Lucie working there. Three years ago, Lucie broke his heart and now they have to work together. It doesn't take long for both to admit they still love the other (though they don't admit it to each other yet).

Rachel Morgan does it again! This book lifts the Charmed Leaf Legacy to even more charming heights. I just can’t get over how much I love this series. Kazrian and Lucie are adorable in the extreme. Lady Rivenna’s sweet plans for Lucie made me feel all the feels! The writing is so effervescent yet comfortable…the world building and the weaving of the story through all the books seems flawless. I love reading details that I know will show up again later, and cameos from past favorites. I can’t wait for book #5!

I was really looking forward to this book since books 1-3 were so good. I found myself a bit disappointed though because it felt like this book went through too many highs and lows. There were points I was unable to put it down but then there were other points where I felt I was dragging or had already read a similar passage earlier in the book. I felt like there was a good chunk of fluffing for the sake of page count since it didn’t add more to the story.
Here is the spoiler part. My biggest issue is that it felt as though there were 2 plots overlapping and so the author had to find a way to satisfying tie it together. The resolutions then came from her mother and Lady Rivenna and it felt as though the MMC was an afterthought. Not quite a 3rd act break up, but a 3rd act separation that then needed the ABSOLUTE NO QUESTIONS ASKED blessing from everyone before they were able to continue. (This was at least 3-4 different chapters of acceptance including one from a random side character barely introduced). And the biggest “I love you moment” that should’ve had the emotional pay off of the waiting and pining was through a letter the MMC wrote, not even an in person declaration.
Was the book good? Objectively yes. But I do feel for my own tastes that it didn’t quite hit the emotional notes I was hoping for with characters who had been pining for each other for such a long time.

3.5. A little different than the others in this series as far as the development of the storyline goes, but not in a bad way. Endearing how long these two loved each other. To me, there was very, very little tension in the plot, if any, because it was just SO clear exactly how they felt the whole time. Which is equal parts beautiful and non-engaging. However, if you know someone studying for the bar exam, this is a good series to read. Precious and kind to the brain.

I read this book in a day, as it was much better than I expected. I’ve been enjoying this series, but I was a little reluctant to read a forbidden love sort of entry. But Rachel Morgan went above and beyond in making this story feel safe while also exploring the reality of prejudice. Add to that the delicious-sounding confections, and I can see myself coming back more than once to this book.

Another sweet love story that takes place primarily in a kitchen setting? Yes, please! The dialogue was again leaps and bounds better than the first two in being more natural and I guess more normal for a regency-esque book.

💛☕🐝 I needed a palette cleanser after reading Wuthering Heights, and this book absolutely delivered!! From the cozy regency setting of Bloomhaven to the delightful rush of the annual Season, I was enthralled. Considering this is a fae romance, I thought it was going to be more than a little shallow, but Rachel Morgan surprised me in the pleasantest way possible! Recently I've been holding a bit of a grudge against books written in 1st person due to their often poorly written nature, and I was thrilled to discover Hearts and Honey Light is written in third person!
💛 The family dynamics: SO FREAKING CUTE~
There is something magical about the way Morgan writes family dynamics. Kazrian (our male lead) belongs to the prestigious Rowanwood family, and he has many relations, ranging from his grandmother, Lady Rivenna, to his small nieces and nephews. When I first began reading, Kazrian's reunion with his family instantly drew me into the luscious world and witty prose. Being part of a trio of siblings, I found the dynamic between Kazrian and Rosavyn (his sister) especially adorable. There is a certain sense of warmth and community you feel upon hearing about the Rowanwoods that I simply can't explain properly. Below is part of a quote when Rosavyn is speaking with Kazrian, which I found particularly amusing.
☕ The romance: Surprisingly satisfying~
From the first two chapters, I could already sense the chemistry between Kazrian and Lucie. For a girl who isn't a big fan of second-chance romance, I ATE THIS UP. There was a bit of miscommunication between the leading couple, but given the context of the story, it actually made a LOT of sense. Kazrian did seem a bit too perfect to be real, but hey, let's be honest, most fictional men are too prefect to be real. He didn't really make a lot of mistakes in regards to Lucie, but it wasn't a huge drawback for me. If you are interested in reading this book, be aware that there is a short-lived love triangle between Lucie and Kazrian and... well, you'll discover who... but it honestly wasn't that annoying (at least, to me. Others might have varying opinions). I did wish I could learn more about Kazrian's personal life, considering most of the book is told through Lucie's point of view. (Lucie is also such a great main character! She's so strong while also being undeniably feminine.)
🐝 Lastly, the writing style: Flows with consistency?~
I have to admit, the writing style wasn't the most refined, but it flowed in a way that was satisfying and just... clicked for me. For a story in this vein, I found the simpler writing style worked so well!

Eeh! I just finished my ARC of Hearts and Honey Light and I am unwell! I loved this book so much 😭 I Think this one might be my favorite one in the series so far. 10 stars 🌟There was just so much yearning and longing and pining and ugh! I literally don't have words! Kazrian is just the sweetest Angel in existence. I just loved him so much!, he is so adorable and endearing and so kind and smart and always makes sure that Lucie is comfortable. He needs to be protected at all costs!😭
Lucie is an incredible character and so relatable with her struggles with anxiety and wanting everything to be perfect. Her kindness and warmth are so incredible. I loved her as a character.
I really love how all of Rachel's characters are so realistic and have flaws and struggles and real things that they are dealing with that are so relatable and definitely scarce in romantasy.
I really loved seeing more of Rosavyn in this book she is always a delight and it was great seeing her relationship with Kazrian, she is also dealing with a lot and I can't wait for her book!
I loved Lucie's family, they are wonderful and I loved seeing more of Charlotte she is delightful and I can see why her and Rosavyn are best friends they're two peas in a pod exactly the same.
Lady Rivenna is just one of a kind I love her so much! Her tampering with The Honeycombs magic so things would keep breaking so Kazrian would have a reason to stay longer was absolute gold 🤣
Evryn and Mariselle being themselves and the return to Dreamland was adorable and fun
Iris and Jasvian as parents were so adorable and their little pink dog pinklet was so cute
Speaking of animals Balthazar was Awesome.
The Situation with Henry Stratton had me seething, Words cannot express my anger, I suspected early on there was something off about him, I'm glad that Situation was dealt with.
Balthazar clawing his face to protect Lucie was so satisfying.
Kazrian defending Lucie at the Homeycomb's opening party was just the sweetest most romantic thing.
Overall I loved this book so much ,the characters were incredible, I loved the romance and the story just had so much depth.
The only peeve I have is We didn't see any Aurelise and Ryden, and also didn't see the shaded Lands, I want to see the Shaded Lands!
Otherwise Amazing book.

Eeh! I just finished my ARC of Hearts and Honey Light and I am unwell! I loved this book so much 😭 I Think this one might be my favorite one in the series so far. 10 stars 🌟There was just so much yearning and longing and pining and ugh! I literally don't have words! Kazrian is just the sweetest Angel in existence. I just loved him so much!, he is so adorable and endearing and so kind and smart and always makes sure that Lucie is comfortable. He needs to be protected at all costs!😭
Lucie is an incredible character and so relatable with her struggles with anxiety and wanting everything to be perfect. Her kindness and warmth are so incredible. I loved her as a character.
I really love how all of Rachel's characters are so realistic and have flaws and struggles and real things that they are dealing with that are so relatable and definitely scarce in romantasy.
I really loved seeing more of Rosavyn in this book she is always a delight and it was great seeing her relationship with Kazrian, she is also dealing with a lot and I can't wait for her book!
I loved Lucie's family, they are wonderful and I loved seeing more of Charlotte she is delightful and I can see why her and Rosavyn are best friends they're two peas in a pod exactly the same.
Lady Rivenna is just one of a kind I love her so much! Her tampering with The Honeycombs magic so things would keep breaking so Kazrian would have a reason to stay longer was absolute gold 🤣
Evryn and Mariselle being themselves and the return to Dreamland was adorable and fun
Iris and Jasvian as parents were so adorable and their little pink dog pinklet was so cute
Speaking of animals Balthazar was Awesome.
The Situation with Henry Stratton had me seething, Words cannot express my anger, I suspected early on there was something off about him, I'm glad that Situation was dealt with.
Balthazar clawing his face to protect Lucie was so satisfying.
Kazrian defending Lucie at the Homeycomb's opening party was just the sweetest most romantic thing.
Overall I loved this book so much ,the characters were incredible, I loved the romance and the story just had so much depth.
The only peeve I have is We didn't see any Aurelise and Ryden, and also didn't see the shaded Lands, I want to see the Shaded Lands!
Otherwise Amazing book.

Only a few chapters in and I already knew this book was going to hold my heart in a cottonwool covered vice. By the time I got to page 3, my heart was already full of anguish. But before you think this is gut-wrenching, let me assure you, it's one of the most beautiful love stories I've read. It's sweet, it's swoony, it's delightfully comical and boy was the yearning all consuming! Rachel's exemplary wordsmanship gets me, EVERY TIME!
From characters new and old, this series is also very much one of family, the love and support they show one another...did I mention... beautiful??? Lady Rivenna, the grandmother matriarch, is definitely one of my favourite characters! Never mincing words, she is so much more than just an intimidating grandma, she holds her family, and indeed, the entire community, firmly where she wants them. Rachel brings them all to life, Rachel makes me want to befriend them for real, Rachel makes them REAL! Balthazar, oh my heck, what a cool cat! I was laughing at him as much as I wanted to hug him! Devious little kitty... But it was grandma Rivenna who was the most devious of all, heck, I couldn't erase the grin on my face when I discovered what she'd done... My word do I ADORE her!
It was super delightful revising this superb world and the Ravenwood family, all so different in character, it's so freaking hard to choose who my favourite is! They all are! This story is all about Kastrian and Lucie, once childhood friends, their secret love was buried, both trying, unsuccessfully, to move on. Thrn...after an absence of 3 years, Kazrian Rowanwood returned to Bloomhaven, not knowing what he'd find there. Not knowing who he'd find there, not knowing if SHE was still around...The 'she' is Lucie Fields, very human, in a very Fae world. Oh how I adored the misconception the author spun, like a master weaver. Kazrian and Lucie, skirting around their feelings, AWKWAAARD... and just sweet and adorable! I mean, this is Kastrian, 'Lucie had rearranged the entire architecture of his chest when he’d first laid eyes on her at age fifteen.' and this is Lucie, 'The sound of her name in his voice after three years gripped something inside her chest and squeezed.' Sigh... After the universe conspired against them, or perhaps, FOR them, everything Lucie desperately tried to avoid, keeping her feelings to herself, keeping to 'protocol' for the sake of all, the rumours abound ... I’ve been looking forward to reading this for weeks (I only found this series about a month ago) and I am happy to say the latest installment in The Charmed Leaf Legacy does not disappoint. The Rowanwoods are back with sweet and cozy vibes in a new setting “The Honeycomb” - a confectionery shop started by Lady Rivenna to sell the genius magical desserts invented by our own Lucie Fields. When Kazrian Rowanwood returns from living abroad for three years, he finds himself working in the same space as the girl he always loved, the girl who rejected him, and the girl he’s spent three years trying to forget.
Once again, Morgan’s writing is solid. The tone of the book was at times delightfully awkward - matching the bumbling character’s interactions - with short stopped sentences and rambling. There were so many sweet moments. I appreciated how “nerdy” the leading couple was - Lucie with her sweets and Kazrian with his machines. The concept behind Lucie’s baking magic was fascinating, and likely one of my favorite parts of the book. Besides the cat, of course. I am not a cat person usually. But THAT cat, I respect.
My favorite scenes throughout this series are always the family moments, and this book was no exception. Both Kazrian and Lucie get family time between siblings, nieces/nephews and parents. I especially loved the older sister/younger brother conversations between Kazrian and Rosavyn. I was a little disappointed that Aurelise and Ryden never made it in the book. They were mentioned a few times, but never present in a scene. I had hoped that being a twin with the MMC Aurelise would at least pop up occasionally, but alas not. Hopefully we may see them in the next book.
I will say it wasn’t my favorite in the series. The pace felt slower, possibly because this book was slightly longer than the rest. It was definitely a more introspective story. The main characters spent a whole lot of time analyzing feelings or working through anxiety/panic attacks. Because of this the plot felt slower, though I’m sure other readers will appreciate the more emotional aspects of the book. It just didn’t resonate with me personally. Finally, I felt the ending was a little too easy. The entire book built up the difficulty of these characters being together and then suddenly the difficulties were gone. While of course I wanted a happy ending for our leading couple, it cheapened the sacrifice of “I still want to be with you even if no one will accept us.”
Overall, it was an enjoyable read and a great addition to the series. Looking forward to the last book.

I loved books #1 and #3, so I was really excited for this one. Unfortunately it kinda missed the mark for me.
Her writing is usually so lush and whimsical, but the constant overuse of bland words such as, “steady/unsteady”, “careful”, “quiet”, “warm”, and more. That doesn’t sound bad, right? I mean, those are common words.
You don’t understand.
It happened with such frequency, at times where there would’ve been great opportunities for some imagination or a different word, that it ripped me out of the story. Sometimes back to back to back. Sadly, it made an otherwise enjoyable story feel flat and lifeless.
The reason I love regency romance (and well-written fantasy) is because of the beautiful turns of phrase, the unique word choice, the immersive descriptions. As much as I loved Kazrian and Lucie’s relationship in the end, I didn’t feel any love behind the writing.
[SPOILERS AHEAD]
I don’t know if I appreciate how the abuse storyline was handled. It felt more like something thrown in for drama, rather than a serious topic to be treated with respect.
For instance, when Lucie (finally) figures out who Henry is, it takes her so. Long. To connect the dots between him and his sister, Georgiana. When she finally does figure it out, she honestly doesn’t seem to care much—the most she does is ask her *once* (in a roundabout way) if the man she’s marrying is safe.
We are told constantly in Kazrian’s perspective how kind and caring Lucie is, but I just didn’t see that. There’s no mention of her checking up on Georgiana, making sure she’s actually safe, anything of the sort. She gets taken away by a mystery man and Lucie forgets about her almost as fast—making me think that the abuse storyline was simply for the drama…
I just think if you’re going to include something like that, it should be handled with care and respect, not like a throwaway plot device.
It was enjoyable overall. I’m still looking forward to the next one, with hopes that it will be a return to form!

One of my favourite things about Rachel Morgan's books is the way she makes magic feel like part of everyday life, and this story was no different. From a stubborn building with a personality of its own to a door that only opens on Thursdays and a grumpy cat who always seems to know exactly who his people are, every little detail adds to the charm of the world.
As a baker myself, I especially loved spending time in the Honeycomb Kitchen and reading about Lucie's creations. Those scenes felt wonderfully cosy and made me want to spend an afternoon baking with a cup of tea nearby.
Something I always appreciate about Rachel's writing is how real her female characters feel. I always seem to find a little piece of myself in them, and Lucie was no different. She writes emotional struggles with so much honesty and compassion that I often come away from her stories feeling seen in ways I didn't expect.
While the story is filled with whimsy and gentle magic, it also explores more serious topics such as class differences and abuse. I thought these themes added depth and created a lovely balance with the lighter moments.

Not that I am surprised, but it’s another 5star story from Rachel! I truly cannot handle only having one more book left in this world. This was the sweetest, most beautiful story. Rachel has a way of writing so poetically and immerses you in lively descriptions but also nails the humor and wit. I felt completely immersed in the honey light upon description. This story tackled some heavy storylines but did it so well.
Lucie is a force to be reckoned with and I loved that she was unstoppable but also in her quieter moments was unsure of herself and dealt with self doubt and panic attacks. Loved her and her resilience. As someone who has panic attacks and anxiety it was so lovely to see this written into the character. And so accurately!
Kazrian. My man. I so enjoyed that he was not the typical MC. He was quirky, a little awkward, very smart and almost nerdy. He wasn’t as suave and flirty as his brothers but he was still incredibly protective and strong. And the way the man talks her through a panic attacks. Squeals. Kicking. All the feels!
Loved this side of Lady Rivenna. She was never a character I just loved but she’s too tier now.
Also, Balthazar was hilarious. Big fan.

My favorite in the series thus far
I have decided it is my favorite and will be a novel that is special to me. As someone who is quite partial to bees I already began the story with some favoritism. And it only expanded from seeing so much of myself within the story and so much I wish for.
(Spoiler-ish) Anxiety from wanting to do well–for wanting to present perfectly is something I am, unfortunately, very intimate with. It was refreshing to read it and from a main character no less. The tenderness, patience, calmness, and understanding that so clearly comes from love that Kazrian shows Lucie is something that only feeds the fantasies within my own mind. The story is quite comfortable (cozy) and I WILL be buying a paperback or hardback so I may reread it again and again. I also quite like Balthazar and how he is described. Makes me miss my cat that I don’t yet have.
I also am incredibly excited for the next book. I have been craving their story since book two. Regardless Rachel Morgan has made a fan out of me and I will be sure to share her stories to anyone who will listen to me.

The story is quite comfortable (cozy) and I WILL be buying a paperback or hardback so I may reread it again and again. I also quite like Balthazar and how he is described. Makes me miss my cat that I don’t yet have.
I also am incredibly excited for the next book. I have been craving their story since book two. Regardless Rachel Morgan has made a fan out of me and I will be sure to share her stories to anyone who will listen to me.
(A true spoiler) I had theorized that it was Balthazar that was causing the inconveniences but who it truly was makes sense.

This is the fourth book in Morgan’s The Charmed Leaf Legacy, and it was just as charming as all the others. It’s the kind of book you’ll want to read while sipping on a cup of warm tea with some sort of pastry or confectionary on hand for when the craving inevitably strikes. A sweet, yearning tale of second chances and forbidden love, the story unfolds amidst a backdrop of golden light, honey magic, and the comforting routine of homemade sweet things. There’s a grumpy cat name Balthazar, a fae lord who can fix any problem, a constantly overwhelmed human confectioner (our heroine, Lucie), a romantic rival with a dark secret, and a realm not so keen on bridging the class divide between the humans and the fae. Which, of course, is the heart of the matter for the two leads! I’ve loved every book in this series and really recommend you start at the beginning with Tempests and Tea Leaves. While each book focuses on a new couple, the characters from previous books make their way into each in some way. All in all, I highly recommend this series if you’d like a cozy Bridgerton vibe but with enchanting magic, no spice, and all the yearning!

This series has me been in a chokehold so naturally, I had to read this one in less than three days. 🤭💛
I am a sucker for a good forbidden romance and this one was the perfect essence of that. Lucie and Kazrian’s love was hinted throughout the series this far so it made the anticipation for this book well worth it. The yearning and tension between the two throughout the book was so beautifully written. I loved the retelling of how Lucie and Kazrian fell in love. Especially when he braided her hair to help out of a panic attack. He was always there to help her through and it was so sweet to watch.
The forced proximity was with the issues with the Honeycomb’s old enchantments that his grandmother semi-orchestrated was *chef’s kiss*. I love how the building’s old enchantments ended up locking in the storage room with only one bed. Balthazar was a cute addition!
I loved how in the end, the High Lady had so much respect for Lucie in a society that disregarded her because she was human and approving of Kazrian and Lucie being together and Lucie getting a bumblebee tattoo was the cherry on top to a HEA.

Much like the others in this series, this book was exceptionally well-written and balanced character growth, plot, and romance all perfectly. I especially loved the side characters in this book, and found myself smiling particularly at Lady Rivenna's wit!
However, while this was, as a whole, an excellent read, I found it a bit slower than the others in the series. The romance drawled a bit more than the other books, which moved with quick banter and fast pacing. This romance was slow, achingly so, and the reader is forced to endure the brief glances and self control that Kazrian and Lucie had to for years before. The pacing, in short, matched the book rather well, even if it frustrated me at times.
Nonetheless, it was a cute summer read, with all the fairytale-like whimsy and sweet romances of the others. I'm looking forward to reading about Rosavyn in the last book!

This book felt exactly like a warm hug, or that cozy feeling of contentment, or even the book’s own honey light, and I have absolutely no regrets!
This story is about Lucie Fields, a human, and Kazrian—GOSH I love that name—Rowanwood, a fae lord of one of Bloomhaven’s most influential families. If none of that rings a bell, AKA, you haven’t read the other books in the series, GO READ THEM, everything connects in its own way and makes more sense. (Here’s a little encouragement—think a clean Bridgerton 😉)
Anyway, I have been waiting so long for the Charmed Leaf Legacy series’s fifth book and trust me when I say it did not disappoint! I was over the moon when I got to sign up for Rachel Morgan’s ARC team, I just knew this book would be amazing. (THANK YOU AGAIN, RACHEL!!!) I loved the characters, the second chance romance, and as always, I LOVE Rachel Morgan’s writing style, especially the Bridgerton-like prose. I always like a good tension-filled book that quite literally makes my heart hurt. This book fulfilled it.

I have no words on how amazing this book is. The characters. The conversation. The awkwardness and realness of each character. I just love it all!!!!! Ahhhhhh!!!! This is my favorite. I can say that about all the books in this series but this one takes the cake.
