I find it funny how they follow Erza everywhere even though she scares them. Like they just casually stalk her down to the basement and to Fairy Heart/Lumen Histoire without questioning where Doranbolt is taking her. Gajeel just thinks it's a good idea to follow them without pondering on it. They could be jumping into the fiery pits of doom and Gajeel would think, "Well Natsu's doing it so meh."
Don’t know if I’m in a funk or what but this was only just ok.
The secrets of the Fairy Tail masters are revealed to our gang and the hunt is on to try and find the Master. We learn more and more about the growing threat in the West and the leader behind it. With some good twists and turns, the power a wizard can accomplish is shown on a level never before seen. Definitely interested to see where it goes.
4/5 This volume a lot is revealed. Including why the guild was disbanded to begin with. We later find out that a country across the see, Albareth, has been potentially plotting war for years and Makaroth has went there to negotiate peace.
We find out who the emperor of the land is, Spriggan. Spriggan turns out to be Zereff and he commands 12 more insanely powerful wizards, the Spriggan 12.
Our gang, Zereff, and half of the Spriggan 12 on the cover of volume 52.
Ummmm🤔 The setting of Zeref is unstable. According to my memory..., Nobody can get close to him because he destroys everything. However, he is surrounded by many people and comrades now. There are so many mysteries about him.
ENG My opinion (without spoilers) concerning volumes 46 to 55. I must admit that I really liked what happens in these volumes. Certain passages/moments surprised me, and it feels good ! We have a certain maturity that has set in, the characters have grown, it's felt and it feels good. And all this, without losing their personality, it should be noted. I'm on the home stretch, I don't have many books left. I'm excited and stressed at the same time !
The guild known as Fairy Tail is BACK! The seventh guild master of Fairy Tail has been named too….and it’s Erza! (Don’t worry all this happened at the end of volume 51 so these are spoilers as much as reminders of where you last left off. We are getting more and more revelations by the volume…we find out about Lumen Histoire. We find out about Albareth (country) invading to try to acquire Lumen Histoire a decade ago. We find out so many little story secrets. There are so many little pieces you may miss it if you aren’t paying attention. When you find out who the countries leader is…YOU WILL BE SHOCKED!!! Serious movement on the story takes place in this issue and I truly believe for the second time in this series the story is winding down towards a point in which Fairy Tail would end. I am not saying 5 volumes…but soon (the way One Piece is ending…soon). That said, each and every issue since volume 49/50 seems to have some serious revelations and heavy impact moments!
Fairy Tail was always been one of my favorite anime series to watch and read. I really enjoy it! (Make sure you read and watch the chapters before to understand this part of the story.) I love how the author includes a new plot twist and some kind of funny aspect in almost every chapter. The characters are like family; they never leave each other behind. I recommend this fiction book to anyone who likes reading adventurous and magic-filled books.
I understand he's a main character, but why would you ever bring Natsu on an infiltration mission? Also, I agree with Erza being master, but that means she shouldn't be going out on dangerous missions. Though I'm glad to see Team B getting back together. I kind of liked their part better.
This next threat seems like a real challenge and the twist on the Emperor (and his motivations) was neat.

So the actual story is finally starting here. I have always loved the manga art and even though there is a bit of weird stuff in there I am ok with it. Or rather got used to it.
It makes some sense at times with the story so I am going to let it go.
It's frustrating that there aren't truly any consequences. Like, I don't bother taking any death hints seriously since they've yet to follow through. Still has moments I love, but I've also begun to tire of others.
P.S. ? You can only humanize so many villains, you know?

Very good volume, I loved the introductions of the first few spriggans. I thought the moment in the Blue Pegasus thermal place was a nice comic relief to the tension in all the volume. I will start the next volume asap
