I love box sets and enjoyed reading these again through Kindle Unlimited.
Make sure to read M&M MATING AGENCY after reading this box set which is also available through Kindle Unlimited.
Both series are very good and Mina Carter co-authored with Celia Kyle so the series are one and the same yet overlap and are separate.
You will not go wrong by reading these books as well as the others that make up the QUICK AND FURRY series.
1 - CHASING TAIL
A wonderful sweet funny read but I would have loved it to be longer.
Penelope is not your typical lioness, she is stronger and smarter than most of them and doesn’t feel the need to prove herself. She has been the brunt of teasing, negativity and derogatory comments from her alpha and pride most of her life. One can only assume alpha Jeff Palmer disliked her so much because she was stronger than him.
As the true mate of the North American Ruling Alpha it is to be expected that she will be powerful in her own right.
Finding a hot lion shifter prowling the library was not unusual but when he shifts into a hot man and is her mate. Yowza. Except her Alpha spoils it all by telling the Ruling Alpha he is under a witch’s spell.
Marcus is a big doofus and believes Jeff rather than his own instincts at first, big pussy. I did like that he gave himself grief for what he did and wanted nothing more than to go back to Penelope.
I felt so sad and hurt for Penelope when he turned his back on her and left.
I really grinned at the whole section with Jennifer in it. Jennifer is Alpha Palmers sister and Penelope’s best friend. She is the one who called the witch in to help Penelope find her mate.
Marcus was her mate. Loved Penelope’s lioness giving her grief when the truth dawned.
The witch also happens to be a relative of Penelope and when Penelope finds out about her cousin being in trouble from the pride she races over and takes on Marcus. Physically. Loved that bit.
I really wished her rotten parents were alive to find out she was the mate of the North American Ruling Alpha, would have been nice to rub their faces in it. Poetic justice at its best.
I hope Jennifer and Grayson get their own stories.
2 - TAILING HER
Another great read with lots of laughs.
Jennifer from book 1 is a lawyer prosecuting a high profile case against a criminal family. She is also one smart cookie and being from an alpha family herself is more than a match for her mate.
Penelope, her best friend and ruling alpha mate, arranges for her to have security in the form of Brett, Marcus’ brother, Brett is also Marcus’s Beta and in charge of security.
Once again a smirk along read as these two have to find a balance in their mating as well as deal with ex-girlfriends, traitors and being shot at.
3 - ON HER TAIL
One way of meeting your mate is to run her down in your truck.
Adelaide is running for her and baby Jacks life. Jack is the son of her murdered best friend, murdered by Jacks father Tony Davis, who also happens to be the one Jennifer put behind bars in book 2.
Addy has been on the run for weeks trying to stay ahead of Tony’s goons. Getting hit by Zane’s truck is the best thing that could have happened to her as she now has the support needed.
Zane is one of the alphas enforcers and a tough lion, nobody is getting near Addy or Jack, THEY ARE HIS.
Another fun read in this series but a real pity these books are so short.
4 - HEADS OR TAILS
These are just so good but too short.
Another fun read in this series that has Oscar finding his mate as a prisoner of the dreaded Colletti/Davis crime family.
Poor Hilary has a been a prisoner of the Colletti/Davis crime family for twenty years. Yep, since she was 5 years old, because she is an Omega lioness.
Her human side is feisty and gets her in trouble all the time but her poor inner kitty is one big wussy and hides from confrontation. That is until she meets her mate, then boy, hear her roar and growl and bite when he gets hurt.
Oscar is an enforcer for Marcus, North American Ruling Alpha. On an assignment to ferret out more of the Colletti/Davis holds, he smells his mate behind a locked door.
He can’t believe he has found his mate and that she has been a prisoner for so long. He does not listen to Hilary when she warns him that they will attempt to take her back. When Hilary is snatched back right in front of him, he calls in the big guns, Marcus.
Once he has Hilary back where she belongs with him, he is never letting her go.
Loved all the snarling and growls of MINE going on with these two.

Sexy, full of fun
Loved this series. Funny Funny and. The characters were realistic for shifters.

Where there are self righteous indignation there’s going to be a sweet sassy lady who’s holding back her need to show her strength, at least in this author’s writing, and I absolutely love it! Once again I’m blown away by the characters and just a little in love with the strength this lioness has kept hidden. The author kept me on the edge of my seat hoping her lion would figure out the truth, and the HEA was totally worth the broken nails. This book was a short, fantastic read that was perfect for a few hours of relaxation. I can’t wait to read the next one in the series.

I am so hooked.
Quick and Furry were quick reads but had action, smart BBW shifters and very hot guys or I should say shifters. I really enjoyed this box set not knowing what I was getting into. But once I read the first book and chapter I was hooked. So if you don't want a long story line but want straight to the point story, action, drama, hot shifters, and very hot tingling sex? Well, this is the series for you and when you get done with books 1-4 go to Celia Kyle's web page for books 5 & 6. Enjoy!!

Pretty good shifter stories. Short, so not a lot of background given, which is much preferable to a ton of info dump. All four stories feature lion shifters and insta-lust/insta-love/insta-mate. A nice, light read.

Unexpected surprise!
Found this set on sale on Amazon and decided to give it a try. These were the first books I read by this author, and I really enjoyed them. They were quick easy reads with fun characters. I will be trying more of her books.

Each 'book' is a short story about a different couple. Be warned, these stories are all insta-love, with no character development and just enough plot to set up a 'claiming my mate' sex scene. I give it 1.5 stars.

Furry Collection
All the books in this collection were great. The storylines were good and each gave more insight into the Pride.
My only regrets is that they were too shot. Cannot wait for more.

What a terrific series by an amazing author. Well written and enjoyable to read. If you enjoy reading shapeshifter romance then you will love this set of books.
