Hilarious, the way Captain Hammer is in "Dr. Horrible" - not many books make me laugh out loud, but this one did.

I'm no fan of "Guardians of the Galaxy" or the kind of humor that millions of Americans love, and this is right on the edge of being in that category, but, but, I *love* Captain Quasar! He's better than Hammer! He's so full of himself, and he can be such an idiot, yet he has a good heart, all in all.

My review of this novel will go live October 12, 2015, at www.PerihelionSF.com - follo

Not Kindle Unlimited, and since not showing 'bought' must have gotten from instafreebie instead of bookbub or freebooksy.

Assume this is somewhat in the space opera - humor genre, have been coming across more and more of these. This one has Captain Bartholomew Quasar, a crew, a ship named Effervescent Magnitude, space pirates, bandits, aliens, ghosts, identity crises, runaway hyper-speed train, computer virus, and of course a villain or more. Odd characters, odd situations, by an obviously odd wr

Another fun-filled space adventure. I enjoyed the writing style, humour and storyline. I hope there are more adventures of Captain Quasar forthcoming!

Copy received in consideration for an honest review.

What can be said about a Space Opera novel -
(1) You need a drop dead handsome, self-absorbed, lady killer Captain who feels privileged and acts like it and chews the scenery into bits
(2) An untried new technology ship
(3) Disreputable space bars
(4) Evil bad aliens
(5) Evil good aliens
(6) Disinterested superior super aliens
(7) Aliens included in the human ship crew

I may have forgotten a few othe requirements for an over-the-top Space Opera story t

I loved the series! The adventures of Quasar and his crew are scary, full of humour, emotional and daring. Great characters! Hank is awesome! I like it that there's not much of science tecnology explanations and more centered on the characters and their experiences. I hope Milo is going to continue with Captain B. Quasar's adventures! Please!
