Sterek Derek even does up Stiles’s seatbelt, which Stiles thinks he should comment on, because it’s not like he got hit with kanima juice or something. He’s fine. But then Derek’s already sliding behind the wheel, and Stiles keeps losing little pockets of time. Words:11422 complete
Set in a post-season 2 canon divergent world, this story picks up soon after the Alpha Pack have initially arrived in BH. The story opens with the evil alpha's attempting to defile Stiles in the woods, but luckily Derek is having none of this and swoops in to save the day. Poor Stiles is quite traumatised by the nearly horrific experience and when he asks Derek why, Derek responds.... They think you're mine.
Yes!!!
I love this trope. The whole Stiles-is-in-danger-because-he-is-perceived-as-being-vitally-important-to-Derek trope, which is usually closely followed by the why-would-anyone-think-that-when-we-clearly-hate-each-other trope.
As we all know these two tropes are always (or should always) be deliciously concluded with the so-it-turns-out-we-are-batshit-crazy-about-each-other-and-should-definitely-have-awesome-sex-immediately trope!!
Aww, man! This just makes me happy! Which, granted, might seem a little crazy because technically it's quite an angsty, moody fic! But what can I say?! This type of fic hits ALL my Sterek buttons and that makes me happy!
Doesn't hurt that it was superbly written - no surprise there, seeing as this was fancied up back in Keira Andrews’ fanfic writing days.
But wait, there's more... literally. The sequel (Something More) is even more awesome, intense and sexy!
Run along, kiddies, and get to reading!!

Derek saves Stiles from an attempted rape by the Alpha Pack. Stiles is sick of feeling weak and wants Derek to teach him how to use a gun. Derek decides to teach Stiles how to use a gun ... and the time they spend together grows into intimacy and then passion.
This is an extremely well written moody read. Another emotionally drenched Sterek with feels and angst and an explicit rating. There is so much anger bubbling beneath Stiles' surface and this subtle pining. It is a well paced build with a sexy climax.
What made this fic stand out for me is it is a series of situational action that are emotionally driven moments.
Just a very well done Sterek by a professional author . At any rate, there is also a sequel called Something More.
If you're looking for a great canon based fic then look no further than this and it's sequel Something More.
Stiles is attacked by the nefarious alpha pack and is saved by Derek. Of course their "not friends" relationship changes, and they start to see each other differently. Shared past pain and current secrets bring them closer together and the results are not only obviously hot, but tender and intimate.
This was a very smart, affecting, and emotional story. What stands out the most is Stiles's voice - his sharp wit and his spot on observational humor. Derek's own fragile vulnerability was handled with utmost care here too. These two fit perfectly as always - and this was a fabulous telling and showing of that.
Definitely an author to watch. While this didn't really go anywhere new, the overall writing was very strong, the emotions heartfelt without ever being exaggerated, and the voicing and relationship captured with subtlety and skill.
4.5 starz Oh my, this was just lovely. And the fucking feelz! Hurt/comfort at its best. Although I'd love to see when The Sheriff and Scott find out. More please!
I had to reread in order to review and rate. The portrayal of Stiles in the wake of the Alpha pack attack was more accurate and touching than I remembered. I really like how she handled how the story played out. But BUT! Why did she have them texting while driving. While on a slick windy forest road no less. Texting while driving is a hot button issue for me and this totally pulled me out of my bonding experience with the story. It sort of ruined the story for me. It makes mad just thinking how I can't wholeheartedly love this story because of that.
Overall it's definitely at least a four but because of texting thing really want to dock it a star.

I enjoyed this version of Stiles and Derek. There was a slow transition from them being acquaintances to being friends and then more. Stiles is hurt by the Alpha pack and Derek saves the day. It gives way to the pair spending more time together, tolerating each other and developing feelings. I have a preference for hurt-comfort stories and this one delivered. They were both respectful of their past hurts and weak points but completed each other well.
I also liked how the Sheriff was portrayed. Close, paternal, caring. He showed he really cared and their relationship had depth.
This is a very good short. This is a Sterek fanfiction story. For those of you that don't know...Sterek fanfic is based off 2 male characters, Stiles and Derek, from the TV show Teen Wolf. In the show they're both heterosexual but some viewers have fantasized about them together in a m/m relationship and thus Sterek was born. This story was based in the TV show world during the time of the Alpha pack.
The story takes place over winter break. Most of the gang is out of town for the break and Stiles and Derek have been spending more time together than normal doing research. The Alpha pack goes after Stiles but Derek is able to save him before he gets much more than some bruises. It was still bad though and it takes Stiles some time (and target practice) to get past things. Along the way, Stiles and Derek realize a mutual attraction and get involved right at the conclusion.
This was a very enjoyable Sterek. It was well written and both Stiles and Derek were pretty in character. I was very happy to hear that this is continued and I'm reading part 2, Something More next. :D
Loved this one! It wasn't anything terribly original, but it was well-written. It also gave my little heart all the awwws and my libido all the UNFs it desired. ;)
Wow, the voices and characterization for both Derek and Stiles were well-done here. I wasn't as happy with how the Sheriff was depicted, though, and it ruined the tone of the story for me. He's protective and suspicious, yes, but it felt much more angry and vicious here than it ever did in the show.
