Two moms intent on finding their kids mates. Two bits of stolen genetic material. And now, human Rina Zeret finds herself matched with an alien male. One who occasionally looks like a merman. Which… is super hot.
TAVE is a three-part serial (like a TV show) and ALL parts are available NOW. The entire storyline is available for FREE with Kindle Unlimited, or you can purchase the full story as a bundle for $2.99.

Bleh. Tave is mega boring, probably because he was brought up in a baffling society in which apparently women are treated like deities by default. Just having a vagina grants them this status. Also men are unimportant and raised to be little more than living dildos with no significant indication of individuality to speak of. This is a common trait of instalove relationships where the hapless male is trapped by some biological imperative but the female is left relatively unaffected.
My other issue is with their reaction to being set up by their parents. In a sane world all either of them should have to do is say "I never agreed to any of this" and that would be the end of it.
Anyway, major yawn largely because real romance can't exist when one of the participants has no choice but to fall in love.
Not sure if I would rate the a 2 1/2 or 3 but to be fair this is my first "merman" story, and I don't think this type of story line is for me no matter who writes it.
Absolutely adorable! Erin Tate has delivered yet another sci-fi lover's delight filled with fantasy, adventure romance and humor. The story is exciting, original, inventive, thrilling, humorous, romantic and arousing. The dialogue is intelligent, funny, well written and flows beautifully. The characters are fascinating, captivating, engaging, sexy and at times, laugh out loud funny. I was completely enchanted by this hilarious tale. Rina Zeret had no expectations that this day would be different than any other in her simple ordinary life until an unexpected knock interrupted her morning shower. Two alien Ujal guards have arrived to escort her where??? Apparently Kelara Zeret, Rina's mother has tired of waiting for grandbabies and decided to submit Rina's name and DNA to The Intergalactic Mating Agency without her knowledge and a match has been found. Huh? Oh yes! And who is that match? None other than Tave fa V'yl, the Crown Prince of Ujal and ruler of all earth settlements. What? It appears Tave's mother had the same idea and has also enlisted the services of The Intergalactic Mating Agency using one of her son's scales and she wants grand hatchlings! Oh my glory! Sparks fly and passions ignites! Let the fun and games begin! Sexy oceanic aliens-check! Beautiful sassy human female-check! Excitement, adventure, hijinks, humor and romance-you bet! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!
part 1 of 3 reviews plus the fourth of all three parts in a complete series . this was given to me by the author in the complete volume one box set . and wow so what do you do when moms interfere with both species . and what happens when the Ujal that is getting a mate is considered Royalty to the Ujal . and what also happens when the said mate throws it away due to not reading just to find out ahe is to be mated . and what happens when the mothers decide how the mate and the ruler are to be together . find this and much more when you get the complete trilogy and then book 4 stay turned for parts 2 and 3 of Tave .
Loved Rina! She’s full of sass & attitude, and has that mom that we all love and need to ignore – you know the one that is always charging ahead and doing things for you. Because of her mom, Rina ends up not prepared and dragged off in front of the Crown Prince. Tave, the Crown Prince has also been bested by his own mother for matching making. I love that Rina is strong enough for Tave and that Tave is simply drool worthy for Rina. The doctor, Faim, is a dose of wit that I enjoyed seeing carried through the series.
I loved this book. I love the interesting storyline. The characters are full of life, Tave is a dominant alien male but his really cute and Tina is all fiery human female. The combination is explosive. Looking forward to part 2!
