This has been one of my very favorite books since I was a teenager. I had no idea Mr. Marsden had passed away. What a shame, he was so talented. No one takes photographs like his.

An exceptional read, and an equally exceptional visual feast! I loved this book and will certainly be adding more of Simon Marsden's works to my endless list of things to read. The narrative compliments to sublime aura of the book that his photography conjures and, sat in the dead of night, it's easy to allow your imagination to run riot.

I'll be returning to this one when I comes time to write some more horror.

Stunning photography, although the inclusion of some venues seem a little tenuous given the vague nature of their hauntings.

I finished this book and now I want to google all the different castles and look at more photos of them, read more about them. The photographs were lovely and eerie at the same time. And the stories were fun to read and imagine. It would be great to be able to visit some of these places!
