So cute!! Great for my new 2nd grader. And my preschooler “reads” them a ton too after big brother reads them aloud to us. I LOVE that it incorporates a lot of styles of reading, especially including some comic strip style. And the illustrations are perfect for this age group. Super fun books!! We giggle the whole way through every one now.

This successfully captured the imaginations of two 4 year olds who loved the silly names for the monsters and the colourful illustrations. I read it to them but Miss 4 has also picked it up and 'read' it to her friend based on the pictures.

Miss 4 and I like to explore different books and authors at the library, sometimes around particular topics or themes. We try to get different ones out every week or so; it's fun for both of us to have the variety and to look at a mix of new & favourite authors.
