I picked this boxed set out a couple of months ago and I was so excited to dive into Gianni and Leah's story. I had heard from a couple of people that it was a really good series, so I was super interested to see what all of the buzz was about.
From when I first picked this book up, I thought that it felt rushed. It didn't feel like the plot was given enough breathing room to really grow into something. I thought at first that it was me and I was just reading it too quickly (which is a massive issue of mine), so I went ahead and restarted the book after I was about 30 pages in. I was just curious if I would get the same feel. And I did. it still felt rushed and the further I got into the first book, it seemed to just get worse.
The conversations also felt forced between Gianni and Leah. I don't know why but they just didn't come across as realistic because they were so stiff. I could see why people really liked these two characters but I didn't get that magnetism from them that I had heard so much about. Nothing was tying me to these characters. I didn't feel close to them and I wasn't drawn to them in any way.
Throughout the entire first book, all I could think was "50 Shades, 50 Shades, 50 Shades". For some reason, I couldn't get that book out of my head while I was reading this one. That's not a good thing. It was probably because Gianni is a wealthy dude and he likes being in control. Which is the entire plot line for 50 Shades of Grey. This one isn't quite on that level of erotica but it still ran in a similar direction and that kind of turned me off of the whole series. Who am I kidding. It really turned me off. I just couldn't get into it after my first 50 thought. And the sad thing is that the diary part was so good!! I love how she lost her diary and he found it ... such a good idea for a book.
In the end, it just wasn't for me. I wish that it had been. This ended up being one of the few dozen books that I'll buy this year and I really hate it when a book I pay for isn't something that I enjoy but it's always a crap-shoot to read a new-to-me author. I'm in the minority on this one, lots of others have really enjoyed the series. It was just not fleshed out enough for me, the characters weren't mind-blowing and it ran parallel to another book. Three strikes!

Leah lost her private journal somewhere around the time of her mother's illness. One night at a showroom conference she stumbles into Gianni. When he asks her name he wonders if this is the same woman from the journal he found at a coffee shop. Could it be he found a woman who wants to explore Submission that he has dreamed of? Or could this be someone totally different? When he asks to keep seeing her he has one request. He's unable to love her because of his past. Can she have sex without feelings? Great read.

An interesting premise, but repetitive at times. Even though this ended as a cliffhanger, I am not sure if I will continue to read the rest of the series.

I was pulled in to the drama of Leah's life. I mean, what does a girl do when her most private thoughts turn up missing? Leah realizes that her journal is no longer in pursue but where did she lose it? Would someone read her secret fantasies? As scary as this is to Leah she pushes forward since there is no hope to finding her journal. Love that Emily Jane Trent gives us the dual POV which gives us a stronger story as we learn about Leah's section we also experience Gianni's journey to find his true self.
Book 1: Leah works in the fashion industry in New York city in marketing, she prefers to be behind-the-scenes and struggles with her personal self-esteem. At one of the events she is attending she runs into Gianni Rinaldi and he sparks all of her hidden desires but she knows she won't ever see him again. Of course, we learn that Gianni has found an amazing journal that has him very intrigued and then he bumps into Leah Ivers, can this be the Leah that wrote the journal. Gianni begins to find ways to encounter Leah as we get to experience Leah opening up in ways she never has with Gianni as the seduction begins.
Book 2: Gianni is very drawn to Leah and begins to unleash some of her fantasies but in a way that she won't figure out he has read the journal. Leah is struggling with how much she is attracted to Gianni and why he is interested in her. Of course, Gianni just wants a physical relationship but many of his actions are leading Leah to a more emotional connection, how will this really factor into their relationship? Leah also finds herself struggling with a pain in the a** boss since she works for Gianni's competition – what is Vadim plotting? Definitely some mystery and intrigue developing which makes me very curious how this will impact Leah and Gianni's relationship. Another great installment that kept me guessing and panting every step of the way.
Book 3: Leah is finally embracing who she really is. She has always been confident in her work world but never in her personal life. Being with Gianni is giving her this confidence and allowing her to view herself from a fresh perspective. I LOVE this. It also forces her to make some tough decisions and push Gianni to face some realities of his own. Can they both find the balance needed to maintain a relationship? At the same time, Vadim is plotting something related to Gianni's company, really curious what his game is and how this will impact Leah.
Book 4: Love the depth that intensifies with each installment of Leah's Seduction. Gianni has introduced Leah into his kinky world gradually by increasing the intensity of the scenes they do together. There is also a great balance between her being submissive in the bedroom and having moments where they connect and make love without any thought to submission. I love that Leah has embraced this side to herself and doesn’t hide anything from Gianni even her love. In this installment we get to watch as Gianni has to reevaluate his feelings for Leah. He really doesn't want emotion involved but is now releasing that he may not be able to prevent it. I also love how the intrigue of the two fashion houses is ramping up and adding another layer to their story through the work they both do.

Having lost her personal journal, our main character Leah is worried someone might read it. Do you keep a journal? I would die if someone found my journal and read my most intimate thoughts and fantasies!
Gianni finds her journal by sheer accident. Serendipity is at work here! Curiosity gets the best of him and he starts reading it... HOT! Being a Dom, he is surprised that the woman who has written this book matches his needs perfectly. Now, if he could only find this woman, seduce her, and make her his.
Again serendipity takes a hand as chance meeting at a fashion gathering brings our two characters together. The rest is history! They are both immediately attracted to each other. Although they are definitely two opposites, this is the compelling reason for the attraction. He is so self assured and in control; she is shy and insecure.
Gianni and Leah are both immersed in a sexual relation like they have never experienced before. No commitments is the word of the day, though. Can you really become so intimate with someone without losing your heart in the process? It takes a lot of trust for a power exchange sexual relationship to succeed. Our two characters are about to find out.

I was given this book for an honest opinion.
My honest opinion is that I can't get enough of Gianni and Leah.
We are introduced to these two characters with a chance meeting after Leah is fretting over the loss of her very personal journal. A journal in which she writes her most intimate fantasies. A journal you definitely don't want anyone getting their hands on. At a work function she's at her thoughts are elsewhere and she happens to drop some papers, that is where she meets Gianni. He bends over to get them for her and the attraction is there but once he hears he name, he begins his own fantasies.
We follow the seduction to learn if this is his mystery writer. During the seduction we are taken all over the world to some beautiful places. As the seduction gets more intense so do the scenarios in which he plans for Leah. But in his need to discover the truth it seems he is losing hold of his own emotions, although he would never admit it.
It looks as if there is 10 bo0ks in this series and after reading the first four in the series I am admittedly addicted. No only to discover the outcome of their romance but to watch their inner secrets reveal themselves. Not only to each other but to themselves.
Wonderful characters whom you can't help but get captivated with, along with an adventure that promises so much more!

I received a copy of these books for an honest review.
Well I'm hooked and desperately need to find out what's behind the locked door and Gianni's secret. I'm sure however it won't be immediate and Leah and Gianni will face some further ups and downs before we discover his past. I wished Leah was a bit stronger in character at times as it felt she melted to Gianni's charms to quickly on occasion. I loved stories with both POV's however I don't feel we discover much on Gianni's side it's like he's keeping secrets from the readers too so I certainly hope it's mind blowing when revealed.

Well what to say? Well other than being confused through the first four books as I kept reading it just kept bringing up more questions. But over all each one of the books are a quick read. Though the steamy sex is just that steamy.
I know my questions will be answered as I finish off the series but I still need to ask what is he hiding is it more than her diary that he came across or is it more? Will she be able to forgive and keep moving forward? Only finishin the series will tell. So it's worth a weekend worth of reading!

An intriguing story that leaves you wanting more and there are 10 books in the series. Leah, a woman who knows what she wants sexually that she rights vividly in her journal. Gianni, a rich alpha male who has something in his past that he is hiding and therefore, doesn't want to get close or open his heart to anyone. There is lots of questions left unanswered so you want to read more. A great paced book that keeps you enthralled. I will definitely read more in the series to understand if they have their HEA. Well done!

I have received this Arc of Leah's Seduction(books 1-4), in exchange for a honest review!
Never a disappointment! However, there was places I rolled my eyes and rip my hair out. Because sections just seemed to drag on. Yet the sex scenarios were out of this world. I do have a suspicion that the shit is about to hit the fan. I can't wait to see what is to come in the following books with Gianni and Leah.

Little Story All Viagra
Gianni has business and professional secrets neither of which her plans to share in this set of books. Leah learns submission and ole Gianni has made it clear this isn't heart motivated even though we know it is. It's a Viagra fest and I sure would like to know who has these kinds of libidos!!!

I feel like this book was a total waist of my time. There was so much about this book that I didn't like but I continued reading waiting for a breakthrough. I can't believe I made it all the way through book four. Literally nothing happens for four books. I'm seriously pissed I didn't give up on this a lot sooner.

OMG. This is such a hot collection. I will definitely be reading all 10 books. Gianni is such a hot and strong character and Leah is such a strong women! Wow! Can't wait to read the rest of the books.

Is a very steamy, sexual, and emotional series. The segments are a good length and I am taking my time reading it thoroughly. I can't believe there are 10 books! Yay! The story so far is so deep, that it's hard to put it down.

I feel this book was very 50 shades but better written. Will finish out the series

Of course I will have to keep reading to find out what will happen; however love these characters and this story.

It was a good book. I liked the characters. It was also a light read. If you want that, I recommend it.
