Sienna and her staff were just catering a lunch like any other day but it was Monday. After being abducted by an alien race to cover an act of aggression, Sienna and her staff begin a harrowing journey through space. They struggle to cope with new realities and strange creatures. Sold as slaves to a group of gold muscle men are they better off or in more trouble?
2.5 stars. Would have been 3 if not for the CLIFFHANGER ending. Kindle Unlimited, yea! So you can check it out without purchase.
Multiple women kidnapped by bad aliens. Multiple women stolen from bad aliens by worse aliens but then sold. Good aliens buy human women. Multiple romances from all POV.
Everyone seems to be or get pregnant. If you hate cliffhangers like I do, don't read this book. Not erotica. Not really deep romance. Not recommended.
First, the good... wonderful world building, awesome character building (although there were a lot of characters they were easy to separate and easy to keep track of and each distinct to themselves) and an all around enjoyable story! More than that, while the author builds some suspense for the next book in the series, it's by no means a cliffhanger! (Yeah!) And despite all of that... I couldn't give more than three stars. WARNING: somewhat controlled rant coming...... EDITING COUNTS! Especially if it means you have to struggle in spots to read the book or consider finishing the book. We are talking more missing words than I could easily count while reading... I waded through it and am glad I did, as I said, the story was a great find! And to be fair, the author added a small note at the end to apologize for the editing errors in the first edition - is this the first edition? I couldn't tell you, but it is 2015 and e-books have been around FOREVER now! Time to buck up (pun intended), we certainly have. How about instead of an apology at the end, you pull the book, re-edit it and then re-release it? That way no one can buy the poorly edited book... The author promises the next book in the series will have better editing in the e-book edition. I wait with baited breath (it really was a great adventure). -zittern
Alright, so this book had some good qualities and um not so good qualities. Lets start by saying I think the author has great ideas! Just the execution was a tad bit off. It's okay to have a lot of characters I just don't think it's so wise to have perspective from every single character. Maybe stick with the main characters then do books on the other characters. People do love a good series. Just leave out cliffhangers.
Yes, there are editing issues. I will say I love that there are multicultural characters. That's AWESOME I'm Mexican American myself so I get excited to read about one of my own. I also live in Northern Arizona and have many native American family members and friends. Many who just happen to be Navajo. So that was fun. I just feel the Author spent so much time on to many characters that you really can't connect with any character. Which is a shame because I do believe the Author has a lot of talent. A good editor would probably help.
What an excellent debut novel. Snaps and claps to a bright and upcoming author. This book is happily, surprisingly, unique. The world building is very well done, the actual story line is exceptionally thought out and the characters are extremely relatable and very engaging. So much so that I've already done the Google thing to see when #2 is out. Now that's not to say there aren't the ubiquitous grammar and editing faux pas. GET OVER IT!! This is an exceptionally well presented story and I congratulate the author. Do yourself a favor and read this - its well worth your time and money.
Honestly I really enjoyed the first 40% of the book but by 60% I was struggling to keep going. The book should have focused on one set of characters at a time and shown the stories from each pairings point of view. By having them all together in one book it was confusing, disjointed, repetitive, and by 75% I just couldn't go on. This book should have been 6 or so novellas with the available content and story development. I wouldn't have minded reading 6 stories (or more) of this line.... but as one jumbled mess... it just doesn't work for me.
I agree with all the other reviews about how enjoyable this was to read, but it really needed to be edited. It was consistent throughout missing: to, it, as, at, and wrong tenses, which made me reread sentences trying to figure out what was wrong. You can get past it, but there are many picky readers. I would have given it 5 stars with editing.
Really great book very entertaining did not want to put it down until I finished reading it all the way through. Highly recommend this book and new author. I really want the next book to read soon please. Thank you.

This was a hard review to do. After a lot of thought, I'm giving this one 3.5 stars. The editing on this tale was so bad in places that it made parts of the story confusing. However, the overall story line and characters were good. If the editing had been better this book would have easily gotten 4.5 stars from me. I am going to read the others because in spite of the editing, the story has me hooked
Concur with other reviewers in acknowledging a well-written work
I would also concur with previous reviewers I believe the author did a great job in presenting a world setting that can be imagined as being real and acknowledged. I was glad to see that it was recognized within the story that humans could interact with multiple aliens both good and bad see a wide variety of spectrums. While presenting spectrums of human behavior both good and bad. I appreciated the fact that the author chose the style of presenting on the characters and storylines within the same book so that you bounce around within the same book characters to characters rather then each book being about an individual set of people within the context of the whole storyline. This was a refreshing approach and one I hope the author continue with in future stories.
Reading level is consistent throughout the novel with few obscure words easily defined for the average reader making it an easy read for practically anyone, but not a boring read. I had a difficult time putting it down when needed.
While written for a mature audience heat level around sexual interaction would you consider around moderate. There is one brief instance that might make some readers uncomfortable with the situation depicted. However, it does resolve itself quickly.
I would recommend this book to those who enjoy both sci-firomance book, as well as those who just enjoy a decent drama. Don't worry while this does take place primarily in space and on various spacecraft there is little to no science within the storyline if that is a concern.
a few thoughts: DNF'd at 38%, after the male leads showed up. The female characters started acting in irritating ways. Almost everyone mated up instantly. The aliens used very irritating human language (calling each other "Kid" a lot) and grinned and laughed constantly. Constantly...when they weren't growling, lol. It was irritating.
One of the female characters was named Taylor, which is the author's name, so that threw me off. The book Taylor was Navajo Indian and was almost always serene and unruffled, no matter what happened during their alien abduction(!). Reminded me the "stoic Indian" type and pulled me out of the story. I kept wondering if Navajo people acted like she did and introduced themselves like she did. Her being Navajo was mentioned several times. Maybe that became really important later in the story. Guess I'll never know.

Would have got a higher rating (at least 4stars) but for the cliffhanger and some repetitive editing issues!!
It would be nice if there was some warning of the cliffhanger in advance.
However, not a bad start to a series. It was a reasonable length and an enjoyable read. Not much smexy time until about 50% but on the whole a little more credible than other stories in this genre.
It would be very nice if we could get book #2 soon please, there's nothing more annoying than having to wait ages to find out what happens next ... just sayin' ;)
I enjoyed the madcap journey through worlds that this group ended up taking. There are a lot of characters and I only had to backtrack once to see what couple was involved, lol. The writing handled the many characters well, giving each enough time to get to know each them.
I can't wait to see the next installment, but this is a complete novel in itself full of the requisite HEA for romance junkies like myself.
First I thought I'd just get the sample to read before I did errands, ended up buying this and reading the afternoon away, was disappointed when the book ended. I hope the next book is out soon as I now have a new favorite series to follow . New spin on alien / human relations .
After the second pregnancy it became a bit predictable but it's what happens when ten women meet a ship of handsome gold? green men. The journey to get home is somewhat amusing and entertaining. If anything is wrong with the book it is simply that it gets a little difficult to keep up with all the characters.
The story was complex, world building was thorough. The characters were well developed and likable. If there were grammatical errors, the story was so good I didn't notice. To me that is the best indication of how much I liked the book.
I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews for this book, however I decided to take a chance and I was not disappointed. I loved the story line and characters. Even though there were many different characters it was quiet simple to follow what was going on. I look forward to the next book in this series.
Loved this book! There are so many alien romance books that kidnap their mates because their world for one reason or another does not have a female population. This book twists the standard scenario. There was a lot of humerous parts to the book as well, which you don't see often in alien romance either.
I was interested in the premise of the story. I would like to know what it's like to be abducted and meet aliens. However what this heroine went through totally boggled the mind. I liked the story and thought the aliens were considerate considering what was going on and the fact that they were a secretive race.
My first thought on completing was..."Where the hell is the rest of the story?" My second thought was "What was the plot of this thing?" This could have been a very good story (at least 4 stars) if it had more direction and did not have too many perceptions.
OMG, I couldn't put this book down. You get caught up in this story from the very beginning. I well written book that gives you enough details without losing the reader. I can't wait to find out what happens next in the next book!!!
