Hot on the heels of the International Bestselling novel, The Line Between, comes the much-anticipated sequel, Blurred Lines.

Jade Matthews and Reid Cole have been best friends all their lives. He was the boy who chased away the monsters from under her bed, and she was the girl he knew he was going to spend the rest of his life with.

But even friendships aren’t always built to last.

This is a story about two best friends who’s lives change after one night – a night that not even Fate could have stopped. In the aftermath, Reid and Jade lose their friendship, but soon come to find that they were destined to be so much more.

**Due to language and sexual situations this book is intended for readers older than 18. Although it is about two supporting characters from The Line Between, it is not recommended as a standalone. If you don’t like somewhat clichéd stories, this book isn’t for you. HEA. No cliffy**

***3,5 "friends to lovers" stars***

Well, that book wasn't so good as "The line between", but it wasn't bad at all...
I was just waiting much more things from Jade and Reid...
In the beginning ,the things were a little bit strange from where we left them in the previous book and i felt frustrated and even irritated with their behaviour...

but that's not reason for me to tell that i didn't enjoy their story...

When i saw that there was a book about those two i was so happy...

I liked both of them so much!!! They were having such a great chemistry...
They were so passionated, so fiercy, so possessive with each other that i was eager to find out more about the two of them...

Jade and Reid were best friends all of their lives.... They grew up together and they were very attached to each other... They were also secretly in love with each other for many years but none of them wanted to ruin the unique friendship that bonded them...

Until the day that they went to Barcelona for Jade's grandmother funeral... Jade was vulnerable from the pain of that loss and persuaded Reid to be with her... He knew that this was a big mistake and that wasn't the right time for them, but he couldn't resist to her...

So they unwillingly blurred the lines between them and everything turned upside down...

After that night, their friendship started to change... The air between them became awkward and full of tension... They stayed away from each other and all of that because of Jade... Reid started a relation with annoying Stella in an effort to forget about Jade... No, that it worked!!!!

In that point, i didn't like them at all...

Jade was looking like a different person than the one we have met in the previous book...
She wasn't that fiercy, crazy and so open girl as she used to be in the past... She was annoying and was acting stupidly....
And Reid was such a jerk, especially toward Jade...
Oh, God!!! I wanted to hit them!!!

Get over yourselves guys!!! They were so in love and they refused to acknowledge it!!!

And then became something that turned their words upside down and they still stay away from each other from cleary stubborness...

So much stubborness in this book!!! When Jade was stoping to be stubborn, Reid took that role and the backward!!!!
But thank God!!!! When they decided to embrace their feelings and to be open with them everything get to the right place...

But then step in crazy Stella...
Oh, God!!! What an awful crazy bitch!!!!

I liked that i saw again all my favorite people from the first book and i am so happy about that!!!

Especially for Dane and Kennedy... I love these guys so much!!!

You know when you read a book and imagine how rewarding it's going to be when the hero realizes how wrong he is about his current girlfriend? Ya, that juicy stuff?! Stuff like... When he sees how badly not believing the heroine hurt their chances together and broke their lifelong trust? Or when his psycho ex reveals to him that the heroine is pregnant and he goes to her and accuses her of sleeping around but the child is actually his?

This is what I mean by juicy stuff!!! The hurtful bits that need to be thrown in to make the hero feel regret or remorse. The bits that should have him grovel. Well those bits are wasted in this book. And that my friends pisses me off!!! All that pent up hurt never gets acknowledged! Moreover all the violence and sabotage by the ex never gets acknowledged either, by either character. Or more accurately, by the author.

Whats more, there just wasn't enough chemistry between the two. The absence of them drooling over each other from afar. Physical desire for each other! The hero never expressed his absolute lusting need for the heroine in his musings. It really did felt like a relationship contrived from a lifelong friendship. But we don't get to witness the slow growing burn of attraction in this book. This could have been so so good!!! Because the book itself isn't bad, all the elements are there. Feisty heroine, swoon worthy and dedicated hero. But the temperature was set to cool from the get go. I guess when the book starts off with an unplanned pregnancy, that can sometimes happen.

In short... Lots of drama, but not enough heat!

The bad editing in this book was accompanied by a supremely weak plot. As in, there wasn't one. Jade pushes Reid away for no reason, Reid dates someone else for no reason, and the new girlfriend is crazy, just so something can happen in the story. Couldn't wait to finish this and move on to something better!

BLURRED LINES is WORTH THE WAIT.

The delayed had just spiked the anticipation up on another notch, and the moment I started reading it – I couldn’t put it down. Ever since I read The Line Between – I have fallen in love with Jade Matthews and Reid Cole. They were perfect for each other as much as they were meant to be together. As what I have always said: the best relationship always starts with friendship.

They have been best of friends. Until they crossed those blurring lines one Thanksgiving. He was forced to move on, as much as she was painfully watching him try to. Day by day, she could feel him slip through her and into the arms of another. A girl who hated her, a girl who tries to make him chose…

The first pages had my heart aching and hurting. OMG –are you two really doing this? The best thing had already happened, but they have to be brave enough to put their feet outside of those blurred lines and acknowledge their feelings. But no – these two are pretty much stubborn. They needed their friends and some heartache before they finally admit to themselves that they were meant to be together.

It’s an old plot, but can still stir up your emotions: it can hurt you, it can make you fall in love, it can make you smile at all the craziness. I like clichés, I like old plots with new twists and interesting characters – Tamsyn Bester provided that with Blurred Lines.

Im freeeee

After Reading The Line Between and getting to meet Reid and Jade, I had to read their book and see what happened with these two.

Reid and Jade have been best friends since they were in diapers, but one night changes everything for them. It was hard to see these two being cold to one another after seeing how amazing they were together in the previous book. I didn't want Reid and Jade to fight, but this book wouldn't have been half as good if it didn't have the drama that was added into this story.

At times I hated Reid and I hated Jade in this book. They are both so stubborn, and both are hurt, but instead of talking everything out, they lead to screaming matches, or childish behavior of not speaking to on another. When things get flipped in their world again, and Reid finds out, I wanted to strangle him for how he spoke to Jade. My heart broke for her and I understood why she was very hesitant to let Reid back in.

I loved seeing these two figure things out again. Their chemistry is hot, but the foundation of who they are, their friendship, is truly what makes this story beautiful. Seeing Reid and Jade take that step from friends to something more was scary for me as the reader, because I didn't want them to get hurt again.

This story is one that's been told many times, but some how Blurred Lines seemed like a fresh take on a tried and true new adult book. I loved and hated Reid and Jade's characters, I despised Stella, and I enjoyed getting to see more of Kennedy and Dane and seeing how things really do end up for these two.

If you've read The Line Between and loved Reid and Jade as secondary characters, I do highly suggest picking up Blurred Lines and reading their short story. I just wish we still had more of a conclusion on their characters and what happens next. This is a great friends to lovers book!

Reid that boy sometimes needs to learn to take a hint, "she turned around and stormed out, causing me to throw my hands up in defeat. God, why did she have to be so effing difficult?" When he's with his woman, he sometimes got all alpha and that was seriously hot, "when he looked at me, I could see the possessive gleam in his eye, a new kind of protectiveness that made me equally possessive." His declaration of love could use some work, "but I still love you," he added, "even when you drive me crazy, and when you pi** me off." There are times he likes to pick on his woman's needs but he should learn she gets some he gets some, "my girl's a little horny this morning," he said. I could hear the smugness in his grin." I'm really excited Tamsyn wrote Reid and Jade's story.

so I was pleased to be able to read their tale in this short story. They had been best friends forever, but everyone knew that there was more to it they belonged together. While away for Jade's grandmothers funeral something happens between them. When they return back to the U.S. Jade pushes Reid away, instead of fighting for her he starts a new relationship with another girl. That's when all the drama and angst begin.
A good read I didn't always get Jade's or Reids actions, but this is very well written, if you like an angsty and drama filled read but there's romance as well then this should fit the bill.

More like a 3.5 because of spelling issues and small things like that but still this was pretty cute. I pretty much figured that this was what their story would be about but I did not see that Stella side story coming into it like it had, kind of intense but it helped the book along. Also was glad to have everyone come back for this story and be a big part of it too. Would love to have a Chase and Ashley book and a Grady and Dan book, even if they are just more novella's but still more of this group would be good.

Didn't like the characters or the story. Too much unbelievable drama, and what the hell was wrong with these two? they changed their mind too often and they just couldn't decide to stop being stubborn and say what they felt.

The plot was weak and I could totally see the plot twist coming. The editing was awful. YOU HAD A SPANISH MAIN CHARACTER. CHECK THE SENTENCES YOU WROTE IN SPANISH WOMAN!

Niño is boy, not girl. And all the verbs were in infinite. WE DO NOT SAY IT LIKE THAT. (I'm from Argentina.)

Loved this story! I'd read the ebook version in 2018 so when the option for whisper sync showed up I jumped on it. Jade and Reids story stayed with me. It does get a bit far-fetched with the Stella aspect, and I honestly hate when books fall into this 'crazy ex girlfriend' trope but the friends to lovers journey between these two had been brewing since book one and Jade's cameo of getting pissed off at Reid during 'The Line Between' had me eager to follow up on their journey. It didn't disappoint and getting glimpses of Dane and Kennedy's relationship post their HEA was great.

First and foremost y’all need to understand Jade is pregnant which means she is an emotional rollercoaster and her attitude will change at a drop of a dime. Also people change so get over it.

Ok Dane & Kitten...cute loved them to pieces...
BUT....... Jade & Reid now that is what I am talking about.
Friends to lovers, lovers to enemies, enemies to friends, friends to lovers. It is a cycle that one must go through in their lives in order to truly understand what love is. You have to go through these emotions in order to grasp what being in love and willing to go the distance for that one special someone.
Grandmother working her magic from the grave… LOVE IT!!!!
Reid, showing the so-called men out in this world what it really means to step up to the plate and be a MAN when you are hit with the news that the woman that you love, who wants nothing to do with you is going to be having your baby that there is nothing that is going to stop him from being there every step of the way for HIS child. Plus if she does not like it then she can stuff it.
Being in love with his best friend for as long as he can remember Reid does not know how to handle the friend zone any more once he has tasted HIS Jade. Now only if she would get on the same page they could live happily ever after. Yet you see that is not going to happen since she is too stubborn a does not know what is good for her. But it is all good for you see now that the crazy Hobbit is gone (????) he can now focus on her and his child. And while doing so he is ging to show her for you see he was asked a question when he was younger and that answer still to this day is and will always be YES!!!!!
“If you looked ahead ten years from now, and saw Jade standing next to you, and if you know without a shadow of a doubt that you’d put up with all the hardship that life throws at you if it meant waking up next to her, then you know.”
And all that needs to be said about Jade is…..SHE IS THE WOMAN!!!!!!
Can these two really get passed what is thrown at them during their time together? Will the hardship be too much for one of them? Will the Hobbit finally get her wish?
“Forever wouldn’t be long enough.”

Reid and Jade have a more complicated dynamic than Dane and Kennedy, which is ironic considering that Reid and Jade have been best friends for a long time, whereas Dane and Kennedy never were friends but more like sworn enemies. There's a pretty good glimpse of Reid and Jade's drama in The Line Between. Before I read this book, I thought Jade was a really strong character and great friend to Kennedy. She doesn't tolerate anyone's crap, she has no problems speaking her mind and putting someone in their place. Reid is a good guy, but he's a little wishy washy, evidenced by when he was bouncing between his 2 closest friends Dane and Jade during the Dane and Kennedy feud. He wants to do the right thing, but doesn't always make it clear how he feels or where he stands. While I enjoyed getting to know both of them better, I don't think I ever liked them as much as I did with Dane and Kennedy. However, their story was worth reading because there were so many unanswered questions. Jade has pushed Reid away and he's coping with the loss of his best friend in the only way he knows how, by filling the void with someone else, namely an overly crazed and jealous girl named Stella. Fearless Jade is actually vulnerable when it comes to Reid and anything to do with Jade totally scatters Reid's thoughts. In order for them to figure out their way back to each other, they have to overcome a few obstacles that really challenge the strength of their relationship so I'm glad that Reid stepped it up because Jade really needed him to. It was obvious they belonged together, they just had to find a way to make it work.

She delivered her final blow with "I'm sorry," and I delivered mine with "Te quiero." I love you.

I devoured this book in, more or less, four hours. I loved it! I loved Reid and Jade in the first book of the series and I couldn't wait to read their story. And when I read an excerpt in the end of the first book, I got too excited because I their relationship is so complicated and I want to explore it.

"Siempre has sido mio," I told him. You've always been mine.
He grinned, and the rest of the room fell away. I felt his breath hit my lips, and then he whispered, "Siempre, Mi Amor." Always, my love.

Reid is so going to be on my book boyfriend list. He is SO FREAKING sweet and unreal. I wonder if there are really guys like him out there. I mean, I hope so because every girl deserves the attention, protection, and love Reid gives.

Jade is a hot one. If I were a guy, Jade would be my type. Fierce. She is so stubborn in the beginning of the book but I understand where she was coming from. If I were her, I would also be afraid to cross the line in fear of destroying a very strong friendship.

Although I loved the first book more, Blurred Lines is worth reading. The way Jade and Reid handled the "situation" made me look at things more positively. I knew they would survive because they fit so perfectly together.

As soon as I finished book one I dove right into this. I couldn't wait to read more about Jade and Reid. This book did not disappoint.

Jade and Reid had been best friends their entire life. They had feelings for each other, but didn't act on them until Thanksgiving. That one night changed everything between them. Jade backs off of Reid and in order to try and forget the hurt from her walking away, Reid starts dating someone else. All isn't forgotten though. They both still have feelings for one another and need to work through everything to give their relationship a chance.

I can't go into too many details without giving away the book. Let's just say you will want to scream at both Reid and Jade, you'll smile, you'll sit on the edge of your seat, and you will fall even further in love with them.

Tamsyn - I loved how you packed the punch of a full length novel into a novella. This story had everything I could have asked for. Loved it!

Hot on the heels of the Bestselling novel, The Line Between, comes the much-anticipated sequel, Blurred Lines.

At times I was so upset with both characters due to their immaturity. Like get your ish together! Jade was so childish at times.. Like how can you be mad at him for moving on, you didn't want to be with him? hello?? And Reid, Stella really? You let her control you like that.. you're a bish!
But then they got their shit together, and I loved every page!

This book was such a cliche, and it was touted as such, so it delivered in spades. From the beginning of the book, it is clear that Jade and Reid love and want each other but every delivered line, every intention, every scene is an act of self-sabotage, leading to a self-fulfilling prophecy. Jade doesn't want to lose her friendship with Reid so she pushes him away. Of course, she loses his friendship. Reid loves Jade but does the opposite of fighting for her. What do you think that gets him? You got it. Both act unreasonably, taking turns being stubborn, pushing the other away, and on, and on, and on... The psycho girlfriend, Stella, at least has valid reasons for her actions...she was a psycho!!! The positive quality of this book is that it does go into the details of their ultimate reconciliation.

My bigger issue with this book version was that it lacked a table of contents and had numerous typing errors. It feels like it was rushed to publication.

Man, getting to read about Reid and Jade again, was a treat. I loved it, cliche or not. Tamsyn has a way of showing love to her characters. Her writing style is unique.

Reid, he grew up being Jade’s best friend, he has always been there for her. Jade and Reid blurred the lines when Jade was sad, due to the passing of her grandmother.
I wanted to take one character out of the book but that eventually happened all on its on. I was rooting for Reid the whole time.
This book not only shows a friend to lovers romance, but it shows that we will always need our friends close, and our family. No one can bring true friendships down, nor keep them apart. I can’t wait to see where this series goes, and I won’t stop reading Tamsyn’s books! Must Buy More.

"Every touch.

Every whimper.

This book serves as the sequel to the first installment, and revolves around the story of Jade and Reid. Like the first book, this one wasn't for me. Most of the time I was just skimming through the chapters, and I just lost interest in the overall story. So this book was mostly focused on the bestfriends-but-actually-have-feelings-for-one-another theme.

Again, I found it predictable and draggy. Just not for me.

I liked this book but it annoyed me in parts. I liked to hear about jade and Reid in Kennedy and dane book and couldn't wait for there own book but I wasn't as happy as I wanted to be. from the start Reid annoyed me trying to hurt jade all the time and not listen to her and after his gf started on jade causing her to flee her world came crumbling down with a story line I didn't expect...... she pregnant. Reid doesn't no and when he finds out they gotta make it work but with now a pysico ex there everything isn't that easy and it can only get worse. I loved hearing more bout the characters from the other book still n still hope to here more. xx
