What a fabulous book! I enjoyed the breakdown of fiction and non fiction standards. My students responded very positively to the charts I used. I will be presenting both books, writing and reading, as a professional development session at the beginning of the year. The books were purchased for our entire staff.

Good ideas for charts and mini-lessons, but they weren't as creative as I was hoping they would be. The book spans grades 3-8, so there's something for everyone, but not a LOT for everyone...
