"For all those who know that if he wanted to, he would. And if he doesn’t… his dad will."

I mean… what else do I need to say?? We love a possessive alpha wolfy man, don't we girlies?

This is an ex-boyfriend’s dad forbidden romance. These aren't normally my favorite, because usually I feel like the reason that they're not together isn't reason enough. However, this has an added layer, because the ex-boyfriend, Patrick, is struggling with sobriety. Therefore, it wasn't just that the FMC and MMC were worried about upsetting him, they were also worried about being a negative influence on his sobriety. I thought this added more depth to the story and gave the characters more opportunities to develop.

That being said, this book is pretty long. After a while it felt a bit repetitive with the back and forth between "we can't be together" and then still getting together. It also seemed like the FMC was more understanding of Patrick's feelings and his sobriety journey than his own dad was. I wish we got a bit more closure between the ex-boyfriend and dad at the end (although it does have quite a nice ending, it could have just been a bit more).

The wolf shifters in this book are also cowboys and millionaires, so any trope you're looking for, you can find it here! This definitely made the book unique compared to other wolf-shifter books I've read, but it also didn't leave as much room for the wolf-isms as I would have liked. I'd give this like a 6/10 on wolfy-ness.

Ahhh this was SUCH a perfect way to start my reading year 🐺🌙💙
Tangled by Moonlight completely hooked me from the start and I loved it wayyyy too much!!! The romance was insanely swoony, tender, and protective in that quiet wolf shifter way that gets me every single time 😭✨ The stakes were high, the emotions were BIG, and their love just worked so well it had me melting and stressing at the same time. There is truly something about a wolf shifter that will always pull me in, no questions asked 🐺🔥

Tropes you’ll love 🐾
🐺 Wolf shifters
⏳ Age gap
🌙 Fated mates
❄️ Snowed in
💔 Ex boyfriend’s dad (This book was literally “if he wanted to, he would”)
🕯️ Rapunzel retelling vibes

This was such a cozy but intense read and an absolute must read for my fellow wolf girlies 🐾💙 I’m so happy I came across this on NetGalley and I already plan on going back to read the other book in the series ASAP because I need more of this world immediately 😭✨

The best way I can describe this book is: reminiscent of Birthday Girl, except he’s a billionaire, Alpha wolf shifter — she’s the human, town pariah with an evil, vampire stepmom. They’re fated mates, and he’s completely obsessed with her.

That’s Tangled by Moonlight, and it EATS.

I did not want to put this one down! It had me kicking my feet — screaming, laughing, and blushing. It was fun; it was spicy, but it was also genuinely sweet. I loved our main couple and found it easy to connect with and root for them.

I absolutely would recommend this book to anyone looking for an easy to read, age-gap romance (22f / 40m) with a paranormal spin.

Thank you NetGalley and Kes Winter for the e-arc in exchange for my honest review.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 😭😭😭
I didn’t read this book — I DEVOURED it. One. Single. Day. The only reason I stopped was because my body physically forced me to eat dinner 🥲🍽️

The plot line??? ✨MAGICAL✨ like sprinkle-some-fairy-dust-and-ruin-my-life magical
The love story??? Sweet, emotional, heart-squeezing in the best way 😭🫶
The drama??? WOOF. The tea was PIPING hot. Absolutely scalding. One book should not be allowed to hold this much chaos 😅☕
The romance??? HAWT. DAMN. I need a man to talk to me the way Garrett talks to Emily in bed because SIR??? 🥵💯 respectfully, I would simply pass away

Page 393 — I THREW MY PHONE.
Like full-on launched it. Shot straight up out of bed. Scared both my dogs. Started tiptoeing around my room whisper-yelling
“NOOOO 😭 no no no no no oh NO no no”
Full body panic. Absolute emotional terrorism 💀🐕

Page 337 – line ~8 — JESUS FUCK.
That’s it. That’s the tweet. I need a man to say that shit to me in bed immediately 🤣🔥

10/10. No notes. No crumbs left.
I am SO, SO glad I got to be an ARC reader for this because WOW. I cannot WAIT for everyone else to read this and fall just as violently in love with these characters as I did 🖤📖✨

Emotionally wrecked. Spiritually fulfilled. Would do it all over again 😌🔥

okay now hear me out… i don’t like giving less than 3 stars cuz of all the work the author has put into it and on and on…

but this? man i dunno… i like this book but… not really? i don’t know how to write reviews on books i didn’t like. but i’m just not into the whole “vampire” and “werewolves” trope… i do eat up the other tropes (“ex’s dad”) tho. but this book really reminds me of fanfics i used to read a few years back (yes im a semi-retired ao3 and wattpadd girl).

once again im sorryyyyyyy!

Dear reader, allow me to get rather personal for a moment.

Wolf books have always been my comfort reads. No matter how "trashy," or how predictable, or how cheesy, they've always soothed me when real life shit hits the fan. I can probably thank Wattpad and daddy issues for that.

Dear reader, this past week has sucked ass and this book was a light in the dark when I needed some serious escapism. It had everything my toxic heart loves in a wolf book—fated mates, a damsel in distress, messy relationships, a woman coming into her own, and a man who will bow at her feet. Also, I'm a sucker for Your Dad Will Do vibes (I did say toxic).

If you need a reason to believe in love again and want to see some serious "my future wife" worship, I definitely recommend picking this one up.

A great big, grateful thank you to Kes Winter for sending me an advanced copy of this book!

What more could you ask for in a paranormal romance?

I adored this book! This is the first of Kes Winter’s stories that I have read, and it will absolutely not be my last, in fact I immediately downloaded her other book after finishing this one.

I am a big fan of paranormal/shifter romances, and this one was among the best I have read. The plot itself was well thought out and was not overpowered by the spice (which was also amazing!) There was a great balance between the two. The world building was vast enough to create a whole picture, without being overbearing. And the characters were all interesting and had great development by the end.

I did not read this book in one sitting, only because real life got in the way, otherwise trust me I would have. But when I wasn’t reading, I found myself unable to stop thinking about Garrett and Emily, and not being able to wait to get back to their story.

If you are a fan of shifter romances with fated mates, cozy and steamy vibes, lots of tension, and an addicting storyline, this book is for you!

3.5 stars. This is an age gap, moody, atmospheric novel that leans heavily into emotion, and longing. From the beginning it establishes a tone that feels intimate/dreamlike, drawing readers into a world shaped as much by inner conflict as by external events with FMCs ex partner Patrick & his alpha billionaire father Garrett. Things also get awkward for them as this is an exboyfriends dad forbidden romance raising high tensions between father and son.

It starts off strong with vampires, cowboy wolf shifters, fated mates. From the middle of the book the pacing of the story slowed & I got more frustrated with the FMC & I didn’t connect to her she was too whiney. After a while it felt a bit repetitive the whole getting together then we can’t be together happened & reoccured often between her & Garrett. Towards the end of the book I’m not surprised at all about the betrayal. Even though the ending was positive it would’ve been nice to see more closure between Patrick and Garret.

I could not put this book down—and when I was forced to, all I could think about was getting back to it.

Kes Winter, I am so glad I found you and got my hands on Tangled by Moonlight! This story completely hooked me from the start.

A tormented heroine meets a wolf shifter daddy… and they turn out to be fated mates?! Yes, please. But the twist? He’s her ex-boyfriend’s dad. 👀🔥 Talk about next-level tension.

This book delivers swoon-worthy romance with a deliciously taboo edge, and I devoured every page. I’m already eager to read more from this author!

Highly recommend for readers who love paranormal romance with spice, angst, and unforgettable chemistry.

I loved this book! Thank you to the author for gifting me this ARC. Tangled By Moonlight is a first person, dual POV and is a loose Rapunzel retelling. It is a stand-alone wolf shifter romance and is the second book in the Fanged Fairytales series. The book follows Emily and Garrett as they navigate the multiple challenges to their relationship.

This book was full of emotion and I felt it all. I loved the growth of Emily's character as she overcame her insecurities and bullies. Coming from a small town myself, I understood how Emily was affected by everything and everyone in Tower. I loved how happy Garrett was to finally find Emily. His age, experience, and support definitely helped her grow into the best version she could be. The slow burn was fabulous and when they finally got together… chef's kiss! The pacing of the book was great. I kept waiting for Patrick to find out and when he finally did, it was perfect.

This book brought me a lot of joy and I really wish I could visit this world.

If your vibe is a MMC who is a cinnamon roll for the FMC, but would burn down anyone who hurts her…I introduce Garrett. I love stories where the FMC can (mostly) take care of herself, but then meets the guy who gets her to sit down while he handles it. Blame it on being an eldest daughter I guess…but it works for me.

While family drama (I.e. Girl used to date son, but ends up with dad) isn’t a trope I venture into much, the way Kes Winter handles it kept me in the car for the whole ride. I actually did stay up late reading and ended up finishing in less than 24hrs - which is a big deal for a slow reader like me.

So glad that I signed up to read the ARC version of this story. And for clarification- I haven’t read anything else by this author before this book (I will now). Also there are mentions of addiction in here in case that’s a concern for you as a reader. Spice level was just right for me, but I wouldn’t recommend this one if you’re spice adverse.

Was lucky to get this as an ARC read and I can't imagine a better book to start 2026 reading!

A beautiful wolf shifter, age gap romance with a forbidden twist.

This is a beautifully written love story, but definitely packs a spicy punch that you'd expect from a shifter romance AND it has a solid plot as well, which is what kept me reading until the early hours.

If you like spicy shifter romances with a beautifully written romance then this book absolutely belongs on your TBR.

He’s her ex’s father. Her rescuer. Her fated mate.

Emily is twenty-two, working tables, dodging whispers, and trying to survive a town that never let her forget a lie. She keeps her head down. Dreams quietly. Until one snowy night, a stranger watches her too closely... and then takes her away. Not to hurt her. To protect her.

Garrett is an alpha wolf shifter, a billionaire cowboy, and a man who never thought he would fall for anyone again, especially not her. But the second he meets Emily, something ancient and unshakable clicks into place. He’s calm and controlled with the world, but when it comes to her, he’s heat, instinct, and unwavering devotion.

Their bond is forbidden. But Garrett sees her when no one else ever has. He helps her feel safe. Wanted. Seen. And Emily begins to rediscover her voice, her strength, and the right to want more than just survival.

As tension builds and truths surface, old wounds reopen and loyalties are tested. But Garrett will not back down. Emily is no longer the girl who stays silent, and he is no longer the man who keeps his distance. Together, they are something fierce.

Emily grows from quiet and guarded into someone who claims her own future. Garrett softens from relentless alpha to a partner who listens, protects, and stays. Their love starts as danger and temptation but becomes something deeper, grounded in trust, healing, and choice.

A steamy, age gap, fated mates, ex-boyfriend’s dad, snowed-in, small town, wolf shifter romance that blends instalove, forced proximity, and fairytale edges with emotional depth and slow-burn heat. It’s about healing after betrayal, reclaiming your voice, and finding a love that chooses you back every time.

The Elevator Pitch: A steamy, emotionally intense wolf shifter romance where a shy young woman finds safety and desire in the arms of her ex’s powerful alpha father. With snowed-in tension, fated mate pull, and a slow transformation from fear to strength, their story blends forbidden attraction with deep emotional healing. It’s high-heat, high-stakes, and all about love that sees every scar and stays.

There are so many tropes on in this book that there has to be something for everyone. Werewolves, alpha’s, cowboys, age gap, and new boyfriend is my ex-boyfriends DAD!!!

Now I have to admit that these types of books are my guilty pleasure. Age gaps can be tastefully done, and this book succeeds in doing so. There are the typical “daddy” and “babygirl” concepts, but it didn’t feel cringey. Emily needed help coming into herself, and Garrett was just the person up for the challenge.

Small towns have a way of being cut throat, and unfortunately Emily experiences it hard. An orphan whose parents both passed away, she is forced to live with her not so nice stepmother(shocker). Her childhood home and her fathers diner was left to her stepmother, so she had no choice but to strike a deal.

The way Patrick’s sobriety was introduced felt vital to the story. It adds another layer to their problematic relationship. If Patrick finds out about them, it could lead to him breaking sobriety even worse than before. I do feel like the reunion was a bit rushed at the end for how long the book is.

Overall I really enjoyed this book. I almost read it entirely in one sitting, I couldn’t put it down!

Thank you to the author for the ARC in exchange for my honest review! I can’t wait to read the other book in this series!

She had a sweet life until her father met a vampire, now after his death Emily is left to the wolves. Initially figuratively but after a chance encounter with Garrett after an accident on black ice Emily is now in the wolf shifter’s sights. In the small town of Tower, she is the social outcast after naughty pictures emerge. She works at the diner her father left under the thumb of her vampire stepmom and only with the assurance of blood. She thinks she is worthless and after dating Patrick, she just rolls with the punch. Garrett won’t let her go and shows her the finer side of life like only an alpha. The one hitch - Garret is Patrick’s father. How do fated mates wade thru this world together?

Thank you for letting me be a ARC reader! This book was so amazing I was hooked right from the start. Emily and Garrett relationship was beautiful. "you can't take anything a guy says seroiusly when their d*** is hard"

This book literally kept me up all night ( past 2 am) because I couldn't put it down.
This is a really well written Age Gap with Wolf Shifters, Cowboys and a fairytale retelling, what's not to love! There's lots of spice but a really great love story, showing how to trust again after being badly hurt, and loving people as they are, flaws and all.

Garrett is our silver fox (well wolf actually 🐺), who's fiercely possessive. Emily is our Doe eyed girl who's afraid of men (rightly so) who get tangled up together after a chance meeting. Theres lots of gasp worthy moments I don't want to spoil. Also side note, I loved Walt and wanted more of him haha

Tropes

- Age Gap
- Wolf Shifters
- Touch her and ☠️
- Cowboy Sugar Daddy
- Love triangle
- Found family

Pros
- The meet cute was so cute!
- He Calls her baby girl
- F*** it moment

Cons
- I had to look up the word "Zaddy" which made me feel really old 😂
- I don't like the word "Daddy" being used in the bedroomh, it gives me the ick

Overall rating 4.5/5

I feel so lucky to be have been chosen as an ARC for this amazing book. If you're a fan of Ali Hazelwood I think this will be right up your street.

Now this is how you do an age gap + a dash of cowboy + dollop of shifter book. Garret is the kind of man you just can’t help but want to know more about and be with. Maybe it’s the daddy issues but I’m all for his protective, possessive and soft side. Don’t get me started on his dark side. I loved the relationship they have and how they each develop. They absolute care and love and devotion he has for her.. I couldn’t get enough. I’ll take more of this kind of man please and thank you. If you want to make him a little more dark I would complain either. Just to mix it up.

New to this author but will be sticking around for future books. 👏👏👏

What a beautifully written story. I could feel the intense passion between the two main characters, and as I read this Rapunzel retelling, I was impressed by the author's ability to incorporate the different elements of the fairytale while not allowing the story to lose its steam. That was what stood out to me. I really loved the way the characters are depicted, the way the tension and conflict is built, and I think another thing I appreciate is how nothing is rushed. We go through the motions of this book and get to experience every single part of the story fully. Oh my goodness, this author is so good with slow burn and it's well executed. The tension and angst between Garrett and Emily made my stomach clench in excitement and interest. I really also enjoyed reading Garrett's perspective because of how he really emphasizes the passion and interest he has for Emily, and I liked this POV so much.
One other thing is that Kes Winter is such a descriptive writer. She uses words to help the reader visualize these really vivid imaginaries of the setting, and it's such a beautiful thing. I'm someone who likes to read like I'm watching a movie, and so when I'm reading a book like this, it's such a thrill because it felt as if I was watching a movie. I could see the characters, I could see the surroundings, I could see the beauty of the lodge, I could see the expressions on the faces of the characters. It was just beautiful.
But I have to be honest. there were moments when I found Emily to be infuriating. There were moments when I kept asking myself, why does she have to be repeating what we already know? Yes, you're with your ex-boyfriend's father now. Yes, you did not know that it was your ex-boyfriend's father. Yes, your ex-boyfriend treated you badly. But constantly repeating it to the point where it begins to feel like insecurity or an inability to just accept this new situation that she's in, to just accept the fact that someone loves her for who she is. the constant repetition became exhausting for me. I just didn't like it. I also felt like Emily is someone who self-sabotages a lot. I don't know if it has to do with her age, but it's just crazy how much self-doubt and insecurity she has, and she always has to find reasons why her relationship with Garrett won't work. It was just tiring.
Another issue I had with the book is that 50% in and we've not seen or experienced the stepmother. We only hear about her that she's a vampire and all of that, but we've not really seen her being present in the book. I don't know if this was done deliberately to reflect the way the stepmother was in Rapunzel, but I just wish she were more present. Then my least favorite character in this book is obviously Patrick. I get there's a need to make him look like a flawed man who has experienced a lot of issues in his family and how his relationship with his father isn't good and how he has his insecurities as well. I get that. But at the same time, Patrick is someone who is so annoying and infuriating, constantly being an abusive ex, and it was good to see a redemption arc at the end of the novel, but he is definitely a character that I just cannot get behind.
Despite these issues, this was a really good one for me. The slow burn, the tension, Garrett's POV, and Kes Winter's descriptive writing made this a beautifully written book. I'm rating it 4 stars.

ARC Review of Tangled by Moonlight by Kes Winter
* * * * *
You have been served with a super spicy hot wolf shifter, fated mates, ex-boyfriend's dad romance! Sometimes it's just finding the right person at the wrong time, and sometimes it is just fate.
Big thanks to Netgalley for my copy.

Emily has had it rough. Dead mother, dead father, evil vampire stepmother, a traumatic experience that led her to being the town pariah, awful townspeople and an ex-boyfriend that just brings further drama. She's just trying to get by, praying to stay invisible in the little world she's limited to.
It took a literal accident to land in the arms of a man that would change her world.
Handsome. Older. Charming. Protective. Rich. Wolf Shifter. Coyboy vibes.
Oh...and turns out he's her ex's father.
Garret knew instantly that he wanted Emily.
She was beautiful and sweet. Kind and closed off. His angel. His fated mate.
He will do all he can to have her...but first he needs to deal with one little speed bump...his son.

Was hooked instantly and sucked right into this fantastic read. I couldn't put it down. Was meant to be in the middle of a work training session but my GOD I could NOT put it down. I had to find out what happened with the drama. I had to see how far they would go. The addiction was real! Sucker for all these tropes and it just had everything I loved and more.
Obsessed, protective wolf shifter MMC with daddy vibes and knows how to treat a woman? Yes please!
Traumatised FMC who gains strength and the happiness she deserves, plus comes with a sassy awesome bestie? Hell yeah!
The right amount of diverse sucky people I wanted to punch! A whiny baby boy who seriously needs to grow up. A older mother who is hilarious and just pushy about wanting grandbabies.
I am so definetly going to grab the first book and restart!

I will start by saying I absolutely LOVED this book. This is one of my favorite fairytale retellings of all time. This book surprised me because even though they were fated mates, Garrett and Emily’s love story was still very much earned over time. Even though he knew right away, you don’t get the cheesy insta love for no reason. When Garrett met Emily, he could instantly tell she was uneasy and not easily trusting. He was so respectful of that and make a conscious effort not to scare her. He offered her a water bottle, making sure to note that it was still sealed and had her take a picture of his license and send it to her best friend before giving her a ride home. And keep in mind, he is a possessive wolf who just found his mate after 12 years of celibacy and thinking at age 40 he would never find his mate and he still gave her all the control in their relationship. The build up is fantastic because you have the palpable tension mixed in with the anticipation of them finding out that he is her ex’s father and when it all plays out the payoff is so worth it. There are little hints of threats to Emily throughout the book and when it all came together I was pleasantly surprised and also genuinely terrified for her. The way the author presents Patrick (Emily’s ex who is struggling with sobriety) is so complex and intentional and the way she wrapped up that relationship was so good. Kes Winter is an amazing writer and I am definitely going to go back and read the first interconnected standalone of this series and anything she publishes going forward. I already see so much potential for possible new storylines with the characters she introduced. 5 stars.

If I hadn’t fallen asleep, I literally would’ve spent all night reading this book. I loved that this book started immediately with the action and didn’t spend whole chapters going on about things I couldn’t care less about. This story was everything and more. I loved every character (except the stepmother, the two guys and Tara). Their backstories were so well thought out and the story itself was perfect. For a while there, I really thought Patrick was going to turn out to not be Garrett’s son. Anyway I always love a good werewolf or wolf shifter romance and this one was truly amazing. I loved how Garrett never pressured Emily to do anything and how he was simply incredible to her and attuned to her every need. I seriously cried while I read about Patrick and Garrett’s relationship from when Patrick was a kid up to when he became a man. I am so happy that everything ended up working out and that he finally opened his eyes to find the right path for himself. I could go on and on about every little detail I loved about this book (like Garrett rescuing Emily) but that would take too much time. So in conclusion, I would definitely read this book again and the only reason why this isn’t a five stars read is because I was sometimes pissed off because of Emily.

Thank you for letting me read this book.

“I was her first you know.”
“But I’ll be her last.”

This was a VERY quick, VERY fun age-gap romance with strong found family vibes and full-on Cowboy Zaddy energy. I flew through this in less than a day and genuinely had such a good time with it!

Emily is 22, Garrett is 40, and the dynamic leans hard into protector/caretaker territory. There are definite daddy/little girl vibes here, which I know won’t be for everyone, but if that’s your thing… this absolutely delivers. I loved the slow burn on Emily’s side, but once the heat kicked in, it got hot pretty quickly… in the best way possible. I really appreciated that balance between emotional buildup and a payoff that didn’t drag things out 🔥

This book is fluffy, easy to read, and not trying to be deep or overly complicated. The main source of drama is the relationship itself, especially how Emily and Garrett navigate the fact that Garrett’s son is also Emily’s ex-boyfriend (which added tension without turning the book into nonstop angst).

That said, the pacing wasn’t perfect. Some moments that felt like they should have been bigger wrapped up very quickly. Emily magically knowing how to ride a horse her first time, a kidnapping resolved in about a chapter and a half, and a fated mate reveal that had a lot of buildup but not quite enough payoff all stood out to me.

Content-wise, this book does touch on heavier topics, including addiction, teenage pregnancy, loss of parents, heavy bullying and social rejection, sexual manipulation through the spread of digital nudes, an attempted drink spiking, and mild violence. These themes are present, but they aren’t explored in depth, so the overall tone still stays pretty light.

One small thing that pulled me out of the story was some of the dialogue, especially older characters using very modern language. A 75-year-old speaking like that just didn’t feel realistic to me.

Overall, this is a cozy, trope-forward, spicy romance that’s perfect if you want something fast, fun, and bingeable. Cowboy protector, found family, slow burn that turns hot quickly — I was entertained the entire time!!! 🤠🔥

I really enjoyed this book.

Young woman in her small town is struggling with the aftermath of cyber bullying when AI generated images of her were released. She's working at her late father's diner and lives with her vampire(!) stepmother, who is emotionally abusive and only allows her to stay by ''donating'' blood.

During a snow storm, she spins out and crashes and is saved by an older man who happened to be driving by. Turns out, this gentleman is the Alpha of the local wolf shifter pack.

What neither realize is their connection is more than just ''fated mates''

The yearning and tension between the two main characters is intense.

The story did seem to drag on just a bit more than it could have, but, overall I inhaled this story.

The connection between the main female character and her ex was stressful and made worse by the relation between him and his father, who's her fated mate.

I received this through BookSirens from the author.

I love werewolves. I love fated mates. I love that intense, this-is-my-person kind of romance , so this was very much my lane.

That said, the instalove and lust were a bit much for me at times. I know, I know… that’s literally how mates work in shifter romances, but it felt extra intense right from the start. Just a personal thing, not a dealbreaker.

Once I settled into it, though? I genuinely enjoyed this book. The tension, the possessive alpha energy, the soft heroine, and the forbidden element all worked really well together. It was emotional, steamy, and very easy to get lost in.

And can we talk about the MMC for a second? A wolf shifter and a cowboy?? I mean… come on. That alone deserves a moment.

Overall, a fun, spicy shifter romance that scratched my werewolf-and-fated-mates itch, even if the instalove was a little too strong for my taste. Still very much worth the read.

Tangled by Moonlight is a standalone dark paranormal fairytale retelling that is perfect for the winter months when you need something spicy to warm you up. The story starts when Emily's car slips on black ice in the middle of nowhere and the truck behind her stops to help, and fate does her thing. Garrett knows immediately that Emily is his mate, but with their age difference (and a few other complications) – will it be too much for her?

- Rapunzel Retelling
- Age Gap (18 years)
- Ex-Boyfriend's Dad
- Billionaire Cowboy Wolf Shifter
- Snowed In
- He Falls First
- Spicy!

Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read an advanced copy of Tangled by Moonlight!

This book was a pleasant surprise! It had a good plot, was just the right amount of steamy, and I really had trouble putting this one down. The ONLY complaint I have is that there are some spelling and grammatical errors - enough to really bother me at some points. If those can be corrected, then you’ve got yourself an amazing read right here. I hope there is more to come with Garrett & his mate!! If you’re looking for a good, quick wolf shifter romance, you’ll want to pick this one up!!

The MMC is a Cowboy Billionaire Wolf shifter...
I repeat
THE MMC IS A COWBOY. BILLIONAIRE. WOLF SHIFTER!!

This was my first thought to a story I started under the impression it was just going to be another shifter romance, that would be just an easy cozy read...
But then there's more...
There's a broken father-son relationship that has me almost tearing up🫠
There's a lost and hurt woman that has given up on herself that has me on the edge of my seat rooting for her🥹

This felt like a good romantic comedy and if you like wolf shifter stories then I do recommend picking up this one!!

You know what they say! Save a horse, ride a Cowboy, billionaire, wolf shifter!

Thank you to the author, Kes Winter, for allowing me to read an advanced copy of Tangled by Moonlight for an honest review.

Obsessed. Magic. Lost sleep. Briefly considered quitting adulthood so I could keep reading. No notes. Zero regrets.

Tangles by Moonlight by Kes Winter pulled me in immediately and never let go. The world-building is stunning. Vivid, immersive, and straight-up cinematic and the characters? I was invested in every single one of their stories. It’s an imaginative Rapunzel retelling with a gorgeous wolf shifter and subtle fairytale elements woven throughout, which made it feel both fresh and enchanting.

Garrett and Emily’s romance is unconventional but the chemistry is undeniable. The banter is sharp, the humor lands, and the emotional moments hit hard. I swooned, I gasped, I laughed, I cried and I loved every second of it.

If you like romance with wolf shifters, fated mates, touch her and 💀 energy, age gaps, spice, and slow burns that absolutely wreck your sleep schedule, put this on your TBR. Immediately. No excuses.

This was such a fun and fast paced book! I honestly could have finished it one day but kept getting myself distracted 🤣🤣! I love that this was a shifter romance without the shifter aspects (if that makes sense). This was an ex-boyfriend’s dad age gap romance with a few jaw dropping and laughable moments!!! Definitely add this to your TBR when I officially releases on January 14th!

This book has vampires, wolf shifters, found family, almost an insta-love, and adventure all wrapped up into a quick 350 page book!
