Angelic Blood

Rate this book
Her blood sings to them... a melody no supernatural can ignore...

Julia Caldwell lies in the middle of a battlefield dying of wounds inflicted by the newest enemy of the Singers—the demonic. When Fae, Were and vampire collide in alliance against a common enemy other than one another, the demonic brings turmoil beyond what any of the supernaturals can imagine.

After the genocide of the Singers of Region One, they will be forced to move into hiding. Jacqueline has redeemed herself and carries a progeny of importance and strength that the new enemy wants at all costs. Who of the Fae can be trusted after Tharell's treachery—will the rogue Were damage or assist the remaining Region One Singers?

Can the greatest secret of their blood save the Singers from extinction and close the wound the demonic has made in a world run by humans, and ignorant of what lives among them? Or will fate decide evil deserves to rule instead of good.

Some authors have the gift of gently drawing you into their story, not Tamara Rose Blodgett. She is a grab-you-by-the-throat kind of writer and she strikes early, like page one, scene one. Angelic Blood is a perfect example of insta-love for this addition of the Blood Series. The Demonic have done the unthinkable and Julia has become another brutalized body on the battlefield of the supernatural. Should she die, what does this mean for the remaining Singers? Their numbers have been decimated; their regions are dwindling under the onslaught of the Demonic. Will the captive they take prove an ally or will he lead them down a false trail? He has only one request, but it is too unbelievable to those who hear it. Can a Rogue Were be trusted? Can the Fae? And what of the men in Julia’s life?

With chaos and pain all around, the only light of hope may lie in an unborn child, but the future is an unknown, will evil overtake good? The answers lie in the Blood.

Tamara Rose Blodgett has changed it up this time, using a different POV, has it damaged her style? NO WAY, with her strong writing personality screaming through, the earthy dialogue and the cast of many, once again she slams home a winner that will have you begging for more! Unlike many series that may flounder as they grow, this one is still forging ahead at full magnetic power! That is a sign of a strong author.

Take a deep breath and dive into a whirl wind of non-stop action and heart pounding suspense as Julia Caldwell battles the newest Singer foe...the Demonic.

In the newest installment of the Blood series, you can never be sure who is friend or foe. Reluctant allies facing the Demonic, the Fae, the Singers, the Vampires and the Weres all have found a common enemy that might help unite them all.

Ultimately, it all comes down to Blood.

From start to finish, the story is a battle of survival. Bloody and dark with truly evil intent, the villains are the antithesis of what we love to hate. Grasping for that glimmer of hope, Blodgett wraps us in a sticky web of masterfully and highly imaginative storyline that keeps you riveted to the pages.

I received this copy of Angelic Blood from Tamara Rose Blodgett in exchange for a honest review.

*This book was gifted to me by the author in exchange for my honest review.*

I cannot stress enough of how I love Tamara's storytelling ability. I find myself most happy when there's action, blood, suspense, & of course romance. I mean you've got everything in this book. My emotions were all over the place!!

Julia is dealing with the fallout of the fallen SINGERS & she's just trying to make it to a safe place. Yet, that safe place is chalked full of heartache. *Sad Face*
However, as time goes by (minutes after they arrive) perhaps all hope is not lost. People who were missing or presumed dead come to Julia's aid. However, it's short lived due to the DEMONIC. I was very upset with that ending, Tamara. Why?? Why HIM? *Sighs* Other than that, great writing, loads of action, & just plain enthralling. I hope to see where Julia's journey ends because I have invested tons of emotions into this series. So much so I just want Jules to be happy.

I love this series! I did feel that this book was a bit short but it was still a great read. I have no clue how many more books the author has planned, but I already can't wait for the next installment.
Angelic Blood was just another fantastic addition to this romantic, action-packed series.

I loved this one, as I have love all of Blodgett's works. This one is particularly emotional, passionate and disturbing all at the same time. Characters collide that we don't expect. And others, that we've been waiting to make a connection, finally do. It is filled with overwhelming excitement and keeps the reader in suspense throughout. I didn't know what was going to happen next and was so disappointed when the book ended. Once again, I wait for an addition to one of her series.

Great author

I was anxious to get the 5th book in this series. I love seeing Slash and Adi get together. I hated that they went back and had to suffer the loss of so many, yet grateful to find Victor and others were still alive. I did not like Praile, the demon who is intent on killing Jules. I am not sure about the ending, I think there needs to be a book 6.

A queen to unite all with her blood 5 RED STARS

She will be bound by fang, claw and blood, the kiss of the moon on high against where she lays to sleep. The queen shall bear the mark of the peacekeeping Singer....Your blood calls to us. It sings to us. We follow it like a melody on the wind. All roads lead to the Blood Singer. This girl. The Blood Singer from the Book of Blood. The Rare One. In the absence of hope, darkness bloomed like a black orchid.

Since this is the first time I have read this series, I am reviewing it as a whole (books 1-8), rather than each book. WOW! What a truly FANTASTIC series!!! This series is my soap opera, in all the best, juciest ways! So addicted! Need to know what’s happening and NOW! :) I was thoroughly addicted, caught in its grip, unable to put it down! I love, Love, LOVE how Tamara Rose Blodgett weaves such an intricate story complete with love, heartbreak, heartache, passion, friendship, enemies, lovers, allies and oh so much more all while seamlessly integrating so many characters to love & hate (sometimes both!) who belong to any one (or more!) of numerous species but done in a way to keep the reader engaged and following along, incorporating them without even realizing just how many people you now know & follow! It’s in depth in all the right places & ways and has such deep, dark passionate tones, as well as the lighter, happier sides too, that are all brought together so perfectly to make one helluva unique and creative series! I am blown away by the multitude of species and their abilities both as a whole, as well as what each individual is capable of! Each and every aspect & piece of the story brings layer upon layer of enrichment from complex characters, scenery, flow of the storytelling to the compelling storylines! Love the vernacular, quips, quotes & wording that fits for each character and/or species, meaning that the teens or "young'ins" speak & act as they should, while the "old" ones speak as they should, which adds an even deeper layer of "realism" to the story & characters. It was so hard to figure out the "good guys" from the "bad guys", (which is a great thing!) but what chafed me the most is falling for one that I was so sure was worthy of my adoration, then finding out he is total scum!! LOL But that is why I love, Love, LOVE Tamara's books! Her ability to write & create such deeply enriched books that capture my attention, drawing me in so deep that it feels like I am living the story, being surprised by every twist & turn that I never saw coming, really meeting & becoming friends (or enemies) with the multifaceted characters, becoming said characters, seeing every single bit of it in my mind’s eye, time after time, book after book, series after series, no matter the genre, is proof of just how phenomenally talented and exceptionally gifted Tamara Rose Blodgett truly is and why she is one of my absolutely favorite authors to read & binge read!!

Angelic Blood (The Blood Series Book 5)

Angelic Blood (The Blood Series Book 5) ~~ Now this one… this is where things get wild. The supernatural politics hit a whole new level, and Julia finally steps into a power everyone’s been whispering about since book one. The crown element shakes up everything — who rules, who follows, who dies trying to take control.

We also start seeing more layers peeled back on characters we thought we understood. Hidden agendas surface, loyalties get tested, and suddenly nothing feels stable. The pacing picks up and doesn’t let go. I felt myself rooting harder for Julia than ever because she’s not just surviving anymore — she’s starting to take charge.

I would definitely recommend this book and series and can’t wait to start on the next book. If you want to know what happens next, you’ll just have to read this series yourself — you won’t regret it.

Great supernatural series

I read all seven books back to back - now I wish I didn't have to wait until next year to see how it all ends. They're are so many different things going on. It'll be hard to remember it all!

If you like werewolves, vampires, angel-enhanced humans with powers, demonic, angelics, and fae, this series is for you.

Another read that sucks you in! I haven’t picked up a series that made me want to buy and read back to back in a while. I love the blood series! The whole Vampire, Fairy, and Werewolf thing is great, but throwing in even more with Demons and Angels. I hate putting them down! A series worth the read :) never dull, so don’t plan on sleeping.

The baseline for this story is epic! It's
prodigious, fun, yet forbidden and sinfully exceptional! A must read! - Nook Books and More Blog

The book gives you countless POV so you can follow each one with ease and really enjoyed it because I was able to see everything from each persons perspectives.

This world continues on its emotional roller coaster and bleeds into your heart. Be prepared to experience all emotions. You will not want to put this book down.

This series puts an amazing twist on such a diversity in the paranormal world. It explains the battles that all diversity struggle with even in their world. I found that interesting.

The twist and turns bring a new danger as more characters are introduced. The characters start to evolve. I was definitely on the edge of my seat!

There where flashbacks within the story that gave you an overall picture of the back story so it made it easier to follow. There was so much drama and active with such unusual plots that it was easy to keep you intrigued through out the entire book. I'm not sure why some maybe confused from all the different POV. This is awesome. Why wait a long time for a different POV when you can lose some of what's going on from a past read. The flow was impeccably smooth. I was able to follow and not get lost on any scenes.

Angelic Blood is action packed with Tamara's kick-butt, blood bath fight scenes,as well as her totally dark and twisted characters and an amazingly detailed storyline that will blow your mind. The twists and plots in the story are ever changing and evolving along with the characters. There are so many characters involved so it keeps your interest peeked at its highest at all times! You think you know them and then wham and they've done a complete turn around!

This book is emotional, passionate yet disturbingly evil all at the same time. It's prodigiously impeccable. Characters collide with each other giving you that on edge feeling during the entire book!

It is filled with overwhelming excitement and keeps the reader in suspense throughout. The suspense will kill you but will not disappoint! Once again I'm in awe of her book! Can't wait til the next read!

Finally! A turn for the worst, yet things are better. I'm finally getting the answers I've been craving since FOREVER, lol!
Go Scott and Julia. It's about damn time.Jason gets pushed aside again and he's pissed, I get it, but move on dude.
I'm soooo happy for Adrianna and Slash! And it's gives me hope that when Scott and Julia do finally do the deed that it won't be just alluded too and then nothing. I demand details dammit! They make such a good couple. They both deserve happiness, both Adrianna and Slash and Scott and Julia.
I was surprised at what happened between Delilah and Tharell, but happy anyway.
On to book six with hope.

Lots of humour amongst the blood and gore. And hot hot s----y stuff. Where on earth does this author get her imagination? Brilliant series.
