A short and concise book on some of the more well-known wrecks around the Monterey Bay area. The section on "sea monsters" covers a little of the lore/legends of the area, and offers only speculation on what could be in the Monterey Bay canyon.

I have found many of the shipwrecks are actually located at the places I frequented as a child and still do.

I enjoyed this book but I mainly wanted to read about sea monsters and the majority of the book is about shipwrecks. I'd say the section on sea monsters is about 10% of the book. Oh well, an interesting read anyway.
