When her flight is cancelled and the only option is to accept a seat in coach, Jena's luck goes from bad to worse, and then back around to good again - she might have gotten a middle seat, but it's in between two BIG hunks of manliness.
Being snuggled between two big bears is pretty much the best outcome the trip could have. The worst? The plane going down in the wilderness. Guess which one Jena's gonna have to deal with?
With her and her two new bear friends lost in the wilderness, a relaxing flight turns into a desperate fight for survival. But at the end of the day, will just surviving be enough for the bears? With the way Matt and Jack look at her, touch her, hold her, Jena doesn't think so.
Jena thinks that when she lets her claws out, the gig is up - how could two bears like this want a wolverine shifter? But when she stumbles into trouble she never imagined, it seems her two hunks just might part of an industrial terror plot.
Forget the claws, forget the fur, can Jena survive THEM?
Flora Dare lives in Durham, NC in a cute little pink house, with her husband, Scott and their hellion of a puppy, HaliToeses. She writes love, lust and mayhem in almost every flavor, and like The Pirate Movie, she wants a happy ending, every time!
Yeah, yeah, I have a thing for shapeshifter erotica, sue me! Jena Matt, and Jack were pretty hot together. Honestly, if this book was all sex, it would have been better. :D And Jason, the bad guy, was extra creepy, which I loved.
The Bad
The plot was very weak. Then the ending was just so limp. Almost nothing was resolved and if it was, it was done in a stupid way.
The Snuggly
We get yummy, ménage sex, and that’s the only good part of this book.
Final Thoughts
I gained nothing from reading Bears Repeating, but I didn’t really lose anything either. It was just meh with a side of steamy. Not recommended.
Quotes
He looked at her, threw his head back and started laughing. He said, “God, I love your spirit. I’m going to bring you with me so I can really break it.”
This is a classic case of terrific first half, lousy second half. The stuff in the jungle was great, entertaining, the bad guy was tremendously "holy shit" - but the ending just sputtered to a halt. Too many things just seemed to occur to make the ending happen. So this was an okay book.
I might give this author another go. The woman had some good sass.
Matt, Jena and Jack sizzle but the plot has a few weak places that keep the story from feeling complete. Suffice to say the heat level makes up for the coldness one feels towards a very "soft" ending as far as the threat factor to Jena is concerned.
I hate to do this but I did not like this at all. It was a quick read but that was the only thing good about it. The guys were horrible did not like them at all. The girl was just odd. I did not know what was going on because the writing was hard to follow. It was very disjointed.
Short story, with twin bear shifters, a wolverine h and a bad guy who wants her bad. Little depth to the Hs, the h was better described, ridiculous plot though and she's fickle and the guys sort of dump her. Nothing romantic here, just wham, bam and we're dumping you ma'am.
This is a first for me from author Flora Dare. I’ve been a fan of paranormal romances for a while and was very excited to try bear shifters. Jena has learned to hide what she shifts in to, most men are intimidated by a wolverine. But when she meets Matt and Jack on a flight to her next assignment she knows there’s something more to them. After they are stranded in the woods their real natures are revealed and Jena can’t wait to explore the desire that draws them all together. With twists and turns she finds herself on her own and betrayed by the two men she was coming to care deeply for. Home and heartbroken can Jena forgive before danger finds her again? I enjoyed the concept, I liked the characters, but there seemed to be something missing in the storytelling for me. I understand it was a novella but I would have liked a little more detail in the growth of their feelings and the danger that Jena was facing. I’m intrigued to try more by Ms. Dare so good first read for me!
I love shifter stories and I love the idea of being able to feel a connection to ones mate, but this just took that to far, plus the conflict resolution was anticlimactic.
Jena meets these two guys and feels a connection, the get together and then they start being secretive and things go bad from there. This all happened in one day. Now, I am supposed to believe that she is completely heartbroken over them leaving her instead of her being pissed about what they did. Get real. Then, a big deal is made about the villain, but it didn't go anywhere.
Maybe this is supposed to be the beginning of a series and I just didn't realize it or something, but if that's the case I don't even care to know what happens next.
I really liked all of the excitement and action in this book. I am usually not into menagerie, but this trio pulled me in. Their commitment to each other from the start shows that fate can bring you to your true mate(s). Jena was a very strong female who had to deal with her own demons of the past, but she found comfort and resolve within Matt and Jack. The funniest characters were Don and Vera. I loved the charm and humor that they provided when the book became too serious. Overall I would definitely recommend this book and I give it four out of five stars.
loved this. What more can a girl ask for but two hulking, good looking mates. Very well written, with just the right mix of intrigue, rogue and romance. Follow Jena, Matt and Jack on their journey, from almost missing flights, crashed planes, danger in the forest and water. I won't tell you more, so you will have to read it yourself. Don't want to ruin it for you, but I can guarantee if you like hunky were's, and two at a time, you will not regret it. Enjoy
This is a quick read but it has excitement, a bit of danger and a couple of hunky bear shifters *sighs* the characters are interesting and lovable, the storyline is a good, It would have been great as a longer book with more detail and could have given us more info about what Matt, Jack and Don are involved in ? Their's sounds like an interesting story but even so, it's still a nice enjoyable read.
What a great story!!! This has a bit of everything, the romance, mystery, the bite your nails trying to figure out what's going to happen next. The only part i wish was expanded on a bit more was the ending....needed an epilogue to let us know how they did together...babies..marriage??? But leaves us open for a part two hopefully....yep that good!!!
wolverine shifter falls into a dangerous plot and starts to fall in love with 2 bear shifters. she trusts them but they drug and abandon her to complete their mission. they eventually reconcile but the last part of the plot makes no sense and is not well thought out at all. the bad guy just disappears and the good guys promise her 24/7 protection without giving up their dangerous job...
This was an interesting short story. There was a lot more going on then I first thought. It had quite a bit of surprises that popped up. I liked Matt and Jack's characters, although we don't know much about them.
This is my first book Flora Dare and it wont be my last. This book is very well written and the characters are very well developed. I look forward to reading more books by Flora Dare. I felt very connected to the characters.
Bears Repeating is an entertaining but short paranormal romance by Flora Dare. This is a M/F/M menage so it may not be for everyone. This shifter romance has plenty of drama, action, sizzle and suspense to keep pages turning.
This is a short but steamy read, full of action and unexpected obstacles. Jena's plane crashes in the wilderness. Besides the two hot bear shifters, there is an evil man on the plane who was after her. But Jena has her own strengths. Her strengths give her what she needs in the end - her mates.
