Another enjoyable book in the series and one that was new to me. Happy family reading time.

The story has a nice message that you should help other people to become kind and by helping others you make them happy too. You would have to consider the children's experiences in the class before reading this book as the beginning focuses on people's houses being on fire and one character being 'stuck' in the fire. This could be quite upsetting for some children.

A fairly decent moral, but there’s way too much text before the dragon makes its appearance and Noah lost interest as a result.

Mr Tickle gets curious when he sees that lots of things have been burnt down. When he goes investigating he falls asleep and is woken by a voice. The voice belongs to a dragon who threatens to burn Mr Tickle. When Mr Tickle managed to tickle the dragon, the dragon agrees to not burn anything. On a mission, Mr Tickle helps the dragon to do some good deeds and both have a really good day
Mr Men and dragons are a great combination and this was a book that shows adults can enjoy the stories too

Monsieur Chatouille est un homme plus courageux que moi. Je le respecte. L'histoire est amusante, mais j'ai un question. Comment le dragon parle français? Il est un dragon!

This book has two messages.

First, Dragons are happier when they use their fire to warm up cups of tea and roast sausages for binge-eating gluttons than when they use their fire to burn down people's houses.

The second message is that it's okay to tickle lots of random people (and dragons) without their consent.

I like this book.

A Mr Man investigates a series of fires.

I thought this was a short / effective / sweet story for young children with good illustrations.

My two younger cousins love it when I read these books to them. I used to love reading these/having someone read them to me when I was younger.

Mr Tickle comes home to find his house has been burned down. His other friends also look charred so he goes off to investigate. A lovely story about using your abilities for good things.

Liked it, though not enough tickling happening in this one.
