The next books of the series! The Dark Healer (Book #14): The Dark Healer (Book #15):
Magical battles alone will not rid the world of Abomination. The necromancer prince Maximilian Richter sets out in search of knowledge that will help create new magical technologies.
The Great Clans have been keeping a secret for centuries, and now it's time to reveal the truth. The planet will be healed from blight.
The other Princes want to interfere with this healing, but Max now has a new weapon.
I received a review copy of this book. The Dark Healer is the lucky 13th book in this series, and oh, wow, is it a good one. We finally get to see the main character's plans and hard work begin to bear fruit. He's finally starting to clear out the abomination that has been plaguing the world for nearly a thousand years. Of course, there's those who don't want this clensing to take place, and by the end of the book, we catch a glimpse of what is planned for the main character's clan and his cities, but based on how things have gone so far in this series, there's no doubt, they're getting way more than they bargained for, and I, for one, will be happy to read all about it in the next book release.
The setup for the next book is awesome! Spoilers below as I’m using this as a summary to play quick catch-up when the next book drops.
Summary:
Regina has returned in a mutated form and we are waiting for her next move. An abomination scientist was found and saved and they discovered a crystal which meshes well with Elena’s flower and supercharges it to cleanse an entire neighborhood with just one flower!
Cue the problems. The students need to graduate yesterday to help the clan prepare for war, machines running on abomination fail and their batteries need to be changed, mages who abused abomination have crystals and are passing out from being cleansed and Styger has found a way to spend 48 hours in a focus without mutating and is planning to attack Richter from a focus which he least expects.
Good thing they found that dragon.

I love these morsels! Nice short novels which are just like brain mana, candy for the intellect, and definitely addictive! In this action-packed adventure Maximilian Richter has his hands full when he decides that it's time to tackle the abomination! Not just stopping it's progression but to finally end it once and for all! Turning it's corrupting magic into a sorce of good clean energy! And to do that he has'ta use every viable resource available. With the strongest mages, alchemist, necromancers, healers, and botanist at his side, they get to work! You definitely have'ta get this and feed your brain mana!
More of a background build up than a complete story, installment
We do not find out what happened to Regina. One conversation with all of the Great Princes, only. A lot of internal Richterberg problems arise and some are solved. Some of the problems were a little much. One after the other. It was a good read. Not a lot of action. Not any character development nor expansion of relationships. The kids aren’t in the book at all. Eh, ok read
There are sections in these books that I really like, but there are also times when I wonder if they have been written by an AI computer, occasionally I even think the AI label might giving them too much credit. It seems as if there is a collection of hundreds of different incidents, conflicts and situations that the computer dips into and randomly shoves together, then the human authors attempt to link them together so the story isn’t completely ridiculous.
To become stronger Max has to provoke another Prince. There is a major twist and a lot of build up (which partly felt forced and overly convenient).
I have mixed feelings about the fast progress of the plot. Max's military actions seem premature. I would have preferred him to clean more foci and become stronger gradually..
Even with the great Richter’s strategic brilliance and super human strength, there are challenges that even are too big for him alone. His influence spreads as he pulls in more allies and enters new stages of the war
I think every reader needs to start doing this to force authors to write a quick Recap chapter, which readers can skip if they remember, and those who don't won't stop reading the series.
