The Bookstore Witch and the Curious Reader absolutely enchanted me. Honestly, I don’t usually reach for cozy stories, but I couldn’t put this one down. Right from the beginning, when I realized the bookstore was unpacking witchy books, I was hooked. Everything in me screamed: I need to know more!
The relationship between the main characters was incredibly magnetic. Every scene between them had its own spark, a gentle kind of magic, and exactly the kind of tension that makes you turn the pages faster and faster. The writing was light, smooth, and filled with humor — some lines genuinely made me laugh out loud.
The only detail that might feel a little unusual is that outside the interactions of the main characters, the story almost seemed to pause. As if they only truly existed when they were together, and life around them barely moved in between. Honestly? That didn’t bother me at all. On the contrary, it felt sweet, magical, and it even enhanced the focus on their relationship, the atmosphere, and the charm of the entire world.
This book was a wonderful surprise for me — enchanting, funny, easy to read, and full of magic. And I will definitely be picking up the sequel.
