as far as textbooks go this one was pretty good, and I really liked how the had boxes that summarized the important information that was talked about on the page, it was a great study tool to have and use while preparing for exams.
One of the most authoritative textbooks on the topic of sport psychology, prescribed reading for most undergraduate courses for good reason. The textbook is great for both the informed and uninformed. The earlier chapters serve as a good introduction to core ideas in psychology such as personality and biopsychosocial perspectives. The later chapters will be useful for more advanced psychology students and even practitioners. This textbook has many well explained examples which will interest both psychology students and students of sport who are looking for insights in the psychological dimension of the game.
