About the author

When the voices begin to speak, Jade Royal sits down in her lab to write the tale. The story unfolds with each keystroke as she listens to her instincts bring the words to life. For as long as she can remember, Jade has always expressed her creative nature artistically, especially by writing. She refers to herself as “Slave to the Pen” because it’s difficult for her to resist the call to write.

Jade resides in Cincinnati, Ohio where she was born and raised. She has many siblings and is very family oriented. She spends Sunday evenings eating dinner with them keeping the bond between family nice and strong.
Jade Royal is the author of the series Limits of Love. The series focuses on love, romance, and the eroticism of the two combined. The first book was released in December of 2016.

As an author, Jade hopes to pull in her readers to experience a community of stories that they can relate to on various levels. The emotional roller coaster that is bestowed will hopefully make her readers stalk her words and provide literate entertainment.

Argumento:

Mi humilde opinión:

Romance con atracción instantánea, jefe-empleada, mafia, embarazo sorpresa, vibras navideñas.

Me gustaban Katrina y Olek, sus discusiones, la tensión y pasión que había entre ellos. Los dos tenían la intensión de mantener su relación como una transacción y no agarrar sentimientos pero les tomo semanas darse cuenta que su relación era mas profunda que eso.

Pensé que Olek serie el tipo frio y duro del sindicato, que le costaría un poco admitir sus sentimientos, pero al final terminó siendo un osito Teddy! Es un héroe posesivo que adora con locura a su mujer y haría lo que fuera para que ella se quede a su lado y protegerla de todo. Además tenia una veta dulce y romántica cuando se trataba Katrina, ese regalo navideño y la nota? Y luego cuando se entera que ella tendrá a su bebé, me derretí!

Me gusta encontrar una heroína fuerte que iguala al héroe, Katrina se plantaba y decía lo que pensaba a pesar de saber que estaba delante de un jefe de la mafia. Entendí que aceptara el trato con Olek porque quería proteger a la hermana y mantener a salvo a las dos. Me pareció exagerada su reacción al beso con la ex, ella lo malinterpreto todo, no le dejo explicar y le hizo la ley del hielo. Salvo esos momentos de angustia, la heroína me encanto sobre todo cuando le puso los puntos a Adrianne sobre la hija de Olek.

Creo que esta es mi preferida de la serie hasta ahora. Es una historia corta pero con muchas emociones, tenia navidad, familia, drama, momentos picantes y románticos, acción y peligro. El final con la pareja abrazada en el sillón fue perfecto!

A Maid for the Bratva Boss by Jade Royal is a part of the series HOLIDAYS WITH THE BRATVA. Ms. Royal has another book in the series, A Fiancée for the Bratva Boss, which was released prior to the maid story, but the stories can be read out of order. Katrina has worked for Olek Sidorov as his head housekeeper for six months. For the entirety of this time, Olek has kept a close eye on Katrina. His scrutiny is not due to any feelings of distrust, for Olek, Katrina has become an obsession, and he is unable to look away. Katrina knows Olek is dangerous, but he is also a fair employer and treats her with respect. When Katrina learns that her abusive ex-boyfriend is about to be released, she puts a contingency plan in place to go back on the rum with her young sister. Olek overhears her making plans to leave, to leave HIM, and he proposes a quid pro quo, he will fund her escape if she allows him to have access to her, surely this plan will satisfy his yearning. Little does he know, having her in his bed turns his steadily growing fire into an uncontrollable inferno. Katrina finds herself just as smitten as Olek is and how will she be able to walk away from this honorable bratva boss?
Conclusion:
I have read several stories by this versatile author; she has created romance books in several categories, paranormal, urban, mafia and contemporary. Katrina and Olek were very engaging and the story moved fluidly. The conflict was appropriately aligned to the story without being overwhelming or weighty. I especially liked that while we anticipated the appearance of the vengeful ex, his arrival was low-key and he received his ”just rewards” very judiciously. I really enjoyed this story! I have also placed A Fiancée for the Bratva Boss on my TBR list (that list is so long😊) but I am looking forward to Dmitri’s story.

This book is a part of one of those story collections where each book is written by a different author and has a common theme. This one was a part of the Holidays with the Bratva collection. In this story, we get to meet Olek and Katrina. Our FMC is in a pickle. Her ex-BF is slated for release from prison in 90 days and she needs to disappear. That were Olek comes in. He will provide everything she needs to disappear, but it will cost her 90 days in his bed. From the description of Olek in the book, this would have been an easy decision for me. It's a novella length book, so the pacing is pretty fast. It has plenty of drama, angst, and one gorgeous, dangerous, and possessive Bratva boss that will do anything in his power to keep her. The story was engaging with characters that were nuanced and layered. And of course, the spice was phenomenal. If you're in the mood for a read that's fast and fun, this one is for you. Overall, a very good read.

Olek ended up surprising more than the others. All of them are all about their women and family, but Olek let it really show emotionally more than some. When he was on the outs with Katrina, he showed that. He wasn't bravado about it at all. He was hurt, and he let her see that he was hurt.

Katrina was a tropper. She swallowed her pride when she had to for help. That wasn't easy, but I admired her for it. I really liked Katrina.

The drama was the drama, but I liked how these two came together around it. At his heart, Olek was more about home and hearth than I anticipated.

It was a good one.

This is Olek and Katrina's story. It was a very good contemporary romance. Don't expect any business side but the story didn't really need it. Olek has been obsessing over Katrina for some time. She's his head maid but she's a strong minded, take no prisoners, speak her mind woman. She's taking care of her sister and trying to stay ahead of her ex. The two come to a mutual agreement. The arc is a beautiful story full of emotion and unexpected surprises. I don't just hand out fives. The beauty and emotion in the story drew the reader in. The characters were multi-dimensional. This is the perfect little Holiday story.

A nice spicy hot read that happens at Christmas time so it’s the perfect time to grab it. Olek is obsessed with Katrina and finally finds an opening into her private world through an overheard phone call. Katrina is desperate enough to sign away ninety days of herself to him for her and her sister’s freedom. What happens is not just a physical thing (although there is a lot of that happening) as they both catch some hard, soul-deep feelings for each other, but with evil lurking you will be on the edge of your seat with them. She needs money for new identities for her and seven year old sister. Olek has been obsessed with Katrina since she came to work for him, over hears her end of the conversation and makes her an offer. Sleep with him for ninety days and the money she needs is hers.

Of course, Olek is hoping he can convince her to stay at the end of ninety days, he wants her permanently. There is plenty of drama and some action when the ex shows up.

Book 2 of the Savage Bratva Kings series. For maximum enjoyment read the books in series order. The Bratva Boss and the maid he is obsessed with. Hawt!

The plot was well written and developed. World building was solidly drawn. The characters drove the storyline and they were so very dark and possessive and complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Luv this series! Enjoyed immensely and thoroughly and highly recommend this series.

This was just ok. some of the smut was good, but everything else just felt rushed and flat. there's really no chemistry or romance here and Olek honestly came across as kind of boring? like he's a bratva boss, I thought he'd be over the top, brutal, possessive and dangerous.... and he just kinda not? sure he's a bit dominant during sex but that's it, nothing about him is compelling and he came across as insecure in some parts.

it's fine for what it is but I've read this type of story done way better in the past.

This was so good. Olek has had the hots for his maid Katrina since she started working for him. Olek finds out she is trying to hide from an ex and he takes the opportunity to make a deal and get her in his bed. The chemistry is off the charts and the play by play between these two as they get to know one another better makes for a really good read. I enjoyed every moment of this book. Be prepared to not want to put it down.

Marvelous

Jade Royal wrote a beautiful story. Katrina was the perfect person for Olek. She was just the right person to make the Grinch’s heart grow. She showed him with true love was really all about and he showed her how a real man is supposed to treat someone that he really cares about. They showed each other that if you have true love you will do any and everything to protect it and to keep it. This was a marvelous story that kept me enthralled from the very first page.

Katrina and Olek are so good for each other!

Olek has the patience of a saint because he's so gone for this lady and she doesn't have a clue how much he's about to turn her life upside down. His generosity knows no bounds for her and it was great to see his family's reactions as the news spreads. The villian earns all the bad feelings and brings some action to the soap opera which is mostly at the mansion. Good read!

I really enjoyed this Bratva story. Olek is obsessed with his head of staff, Katrina. She is trying to keep her young sister safe. This steamy read will keep you reading from start to finish, I was not able to put it down. Most definitely a page-turner.
