The Unicode Standard: Version 2.0

Rate this book
Unicode is a standard for electronically encoding characters using only two bytes of information. Use of this standard allows for a unique representation of the characters of all languages and dialects worldwide. Version 1.1 aligns the Unicode standard with ISO/IEC 10646-1, and includes changes and additions that have been made in the process of this alignment. The Unicode Standard incorporates these changes and combines the Version 1.0 material from two volumes in one. The accompanying CD-ROM provides the electronic files to be used by implementers, including character properties and internal and external mapping tables.

A lovely book - and probably the last one that I will read on string theory. That's a little joke - I am practically certain that I will enjoy it - my favorite discovery is really the brilliance that I will unearth as I continue to flip pages
