Ribbons are fascinating.

They curl and twine, yet unravel so beautifully.

Especially when wrapped around a woman’s sensual form.

Alas, I’ve woven so many intricate knots around Camillia De la Croix that I worry she’ll never allow me the privilege of untying her.

My pretty little captive is stubborn. Powerful. So delectably perfect.

I’ve wanted her for many moons now.

To taste her.

Captivate her.

Dress her in ribbons and devour her.

But just as I’m about to make my move, to finally show her who I really am, she’s taken from my grasp to a place I thought long destroyed.

And I’m the only one who can bring her back.

However, it’s going to require a full mate-circle to provide me with the power to do so.

Typhos. Az. Ajax. Me.

Can I convince them all to play nice?

Or are we destined to spend eternity without our beautiful mate?

Don’t worry, little angel.

I’ll find you. I’ll k*ll for you. And then…All of us will worship you.

Authors’ Hell Fae Prince is a dark paranormal romance with four tormented mates and no choosing required. If you like your antiheroes dominant and sexy, you’ve come to the right realm—the Hell Realm, where the romance is hot and no forgiveness is required. This book is part of a five-book series and ends on a cliffhanger.

WTF?! A YEAR?!

Now I’m super bummed I didn’t realize this series is incomplete now that I’m knee deep into the second book.

… and the author is on the same faux timeline/deadline as a series I love(d) by a sisterly duo sort (IYKYK) 🙄. Next thing you know we’ll get book 14.5 or some dumb thing like that.

I’m gonna keep my distance from this author knowing my disappointment from the authors mentioned in the my previous statement. Or at minimum ensure the series is complete before getting into it.

Such a let down when good authors take a bloody decade to finish one book. Then again, I’m not an author for a reason and I’m sure it’s more complicated than I know….

…but if I churned out one item of value at my job per year I’d certainly not have a job. Or at least I’d have 15 roommates in this economy.

I started this series a couple years ago. Only books 1 and 2 were out and when book 3’s release date got pushed back I decided to wait til the series was complete before picking it up again. Maybe books 1 and 2 were better, maybe past me had bad taste. I don’t know but these kinda suck.

First of all the first 25% of this book was almost all spice. 25%!!! I’m no prude but that’s a lot. (The work cock appears 24 times in the first 72 pages) The spice felt unearned. Ajax and Az were at odds for all of book 3 just for them to resolve it by banging it out at the beginning of book 4 which miraculously solves their issues with each other. Melek kinda creeps me out. He is manipulative and aggressively sexual. It felt like gaslighting for him to be hurt and upset that Cami didn’t trust him when he has been gleefully pulling everyone’s strings for the whole series. Ty still sucks and his apologies belong in jail.

I’m tempted to pick up book 5 just because of the time I’ve already sunk into this series. It’s baffling to me that I was looking forward to finishing this series so much I had checked a few times for the release date of the last book and even marked it on my calendar. Was past me so easily impressed by mediocre men and copious spice?!? Shame on 2022 me. Shame.

⚠️This is a dark, paranormal fantasy romance. There are dark topics that are covered on page and in reference to. Please check content/trigger warnings.⚠️
These two authors write some of my most favorite paranormal, why choose/poly fantasy romances! This is book 4 of the Hell Fae series, and must be read in order. Book one is Hell Fae Captive. This series centers around Cami, whose parents made a deal with the Devil, Lucifer. She is captured from the human realm & taken to the Hell Fae Realm to participate in the bride games. But Cami is a baddie FMC and she will challenge everyone for her freedom, even the Devil himself. The Hell Fae Realm is filled with all kinds of monsters, fae, shifters, angels, witches & warlocks. But this realm was made for the rejects, the mixed breeds, the creatures that were outcast. Cami captures the attention of the Warden, Commander, Prince & the Devil himself. But, it isn’t always the best attention. All these males have traumatic pasts & don’t trust easily. There are all kinds of trails, challenges, tricks & fun. There is also many mistakes made, but it makes the groveling that much sweeter. I love this series & I can’t wait for the finale!!

Thank you Lexi C. Foss for the ARC!

If you love your romance dark, dangerous, and dripping with sinful tension, Hell Fae Prince by Lexi C. Foss & J.R. Thorn is your next obsession. This book delivers a ruthless, possessive prince who will burn the world for his mate, a fierce heroine who refuses to be tamed, and a mate-circle of dangerously irresistible alphas.

The spice? Infernal. The tension? Deliciously unbearable. The drama? Unmatched. If you're ready for a wickedly addictive read, grab this book now.

So much happened in this book! Az and Ajax and Cami are all finally in a good place and mated. Ty proposed a deal to Ajax (with Melek’s meddling) that would solve all their problems and it would mean Ajax has to mate with Ty. Cami has issues trusting Melek because she thinks he puts Ty first. She blocks him from her mind and doesn’t want his help. While getting dressed for the interrealm fae ball, she realizes her dress is spelled. She has a trauma response, from what happen in the club with the chain outfit, and confronts Melek thinking it was him. She doesn’t believe when he says that he didn’t. Ty and her dance and he starts to realize that she isn’t the problem. She quickly realizes something is wrong, and urges Ty to move them. She pushes his power back into him, making him fall again and causing her to end up in Utopia. There her mother talks to her about her dead father and how she is a virtuous fae. Apparently Vivaxia is her grandma and created her to destroy Ty and take his power back. Cami is a siphon. She is able to connect with Melek and she jumps. Ty catches her and takes her to his suite. Ajax and Ty have a talk. The deal is no longer necessary because Ty has realized that she is a puppet and he should punish people who don’t realize they are being used. He offers him his job back as well as upgraded accommodations with the offer to mate if he chooses. He claims Ajax in front of his people and apologizes. Melek and Cami have a heart to heart and complete the bonding process and play with some rope of course. Ty looks into his last and realizes that he used to be a Siphon and somehow Vivaxia figured it out. He also had some meetings with Hades, which is odd, and he thinks something is going on with Erebus and the missing he’ll fae bride.

I started reading this series on a whim, with little expectations and not much research into it. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Cami has a halfling, half fae and half other, who was sold to the devil by her father. She is forced into the bride trials, with the intention of being accepted into the realm and finding a mate.
Whilst I thought this would be a book focused on trials and finding a mate, I’m glad to say that it didn’t end up that way.
Cami is kicked out of the trials due to there being unrest in the realm, and is instead departing on her own journey of self discovery. She has three males (so far) who want to mate her, and who are all already connected via their other mates. She has to help the devil save his realm whilst figuring out what going on with her own power.

Sounds confusing? I know. It somehow works because the author has done a beautiful job with the character relationships and plot development. This series is a spin off (interconnected?) series with their other books in a similar world. You don’t have to read them to understand, however, it will make you want to.

This is a slow burn (slooowwww), well written, plot AND spice heavy book. There’s sword crossing, fae/monsters, and some features that are predictable. Worth the read, can’t wait for the last book in the series.

4.5/5⭐️ WOW what a turn of events. This book was such a roller coaster but I loved it. Glad to see a resolution coming, and loved the smut in this book that the last one was missing. So much happened in the final chapters but I absolutely loved it and can’t wait for the next book!

Bonus chapters (Foss’s version) - I kind of wish they had just been apart of the book. I actually loved the ending from the bonus far more, and it wrapped everything up nicely. The books have been getting significantly shorter as they progressed. While I liked the conclusion of this one, I did love the bonus chapters. I hope the final book has some length to it like the first of the series.
Melek’s art following is fantasy was definitely unexpected 🤭
(Thorn’s) - while it was good, it gave too much information and not enough. I did like Ajax’s POV following his meeting with Ty but I didn’t like how he just came back and accepted everything between the three of them so quickly. I much preferred the fight and submission between him and Az. I also didn’t like the ball scene as much. It didn’t paint Ty in a good light and didn’t round everything up and nicely as the alternative.

Few little typo errors in this book as well but otherwise, quite a good book, and looking forward to the next!

Review of first 4 books.

Here’s the thing. I like the premise, and I initially liked the female character she was portrayed as strong and intelligent but that all just went pun intended to hell.

These books have a plot but a long winded one with most of the narrative barely working toward it. So so so much revolves on smut, thoughts of smut, mating, and sometimes magic (though that’s rare too) that nothing seems to move forward.

For instance months have passed and yes I like that time is passing and they aren’t just falling into bed in a few days but in those months the fmc isn’t strong merely lucky, she can’t control her magic mostly, and seems incredibly naive.

Four books in and we meet the big bad, in a small anticlimactic moment and then it’s back to smut, mating, and guess work. Pondering and thoughts on how to proceed and repetition of the fall.

Suffice it to say this could have been great and it just a mediocre passing read. With the length of each book more plot should have moved forward and the villian should have been introduced sooner with fmc learning magic and being stronger.

I was enjoying this series until this book, and I reached the point where I can't read any more.

I can accept that this is a dark romance, and the FMC is okay with getting together with men who didn't treat her well at first. She's made active choices with the first two to forgive them and accept them. Fine.

But then there's the man who has been playing with her the whole time, never telling her the truth and doing things that are supposedly "for her own good" but can cause problems for her. She doesn't trust him because he hasn't trusted her or told her what's going on. And he gets his feelings hurt, and she feels sorry for that, and thinks she should just forgive him because of his precious feelings.

No. Just no. He doesn't get a pass because he had good intentions. He doesn't get to feel bad when she treats him the way he's earned. He doesn't get to make her feel guilty for making a perfectly logical decision to not trust him.

I'm done. I did not finish the book. I'm not going to finish the series.

⭐️ 5/5
🌶️ 3.75/5 spice scale (plenty of plot, good mix of spicy scenes and they are 🔥)

I absolutely love this series and Lexi and J.R. Have done a fantastic job of keeping equally captivating through every book. This is book 4 in the Hell Fae series (so go grab the first three if you haven’t read those yet, then come back to this one).

Words don’t describe how much I loved this book. The character grown in Ty has been fantastic, Malek’s vulnerability, and the circle growth… I’m melting in the best of ways! Can’t forget Malek getting to showcase some bdsm too (which I have to give MAJOR props to the authors on because you can tell they did their homework to properly showcase the lifestyle). Ty and Cami’s moments in this book toward the end were everything. That cliffhanger though, I am seriously on the edge of my seat to know!! It’s just another fantastic book and you’ll want to read it!!!!

This book was a great installment to the storyline with the revelations, angst, tension, and emotion along for the rollercoaster ride. It have me a better understanding of Melek and Lucifer's thoughts and feelings. There were points in the story that my heart broke for different characters at different times, and my curiosity has been peeked for where they will end up in the final installment. I can't wait for a certain character or two to get their comeuppance. 🤞 I'm also curious about some other characters and how their story plays out in their book. Lexi and J.R created another amazing story and evolved their characters in such a way that I was unable to put it down. I can't wait for the final installment! June can not come fast enough ladies! I will be really sad to say goodbye to the realms and characters you have created in these fae academy books though.

So, I was so excited for this book because it was a long wait. I'm not sure how I feel though. While yes we do get some answers especially when it comes to Cami's origins, but at the same time we're still left with questions. Yes, Ty finally comes to turns with wanting Cami, but even Melek hasn't even moved forward with Cami. Their relationship is still just at a stand still. For me, it was like yes things were learned, but at the same time nothing happened. I don't know... I just expected more out of this book. I'm ready for the final book even though now I am a little on the fence since this one didn't exactly meet my expectations.

Hell Fae Prince 👑

Hell Fae Prince is the next book in this series and finally allows us the chance to get to know Melek better😍

Cami, Az and Ajax have relocated to the Midnight Fae Realm, which is wonderful as we get to meet up once again with Aflora’s mates and have a “visit”. I also liked getting a deeper look at Lucifer towards the end which is an introduction to his book Hell Fae King which is the final book in the series. Lots happening in this one which will keep you on your toes and some sensual pleasure at your fingertips❣️Can’t wait to see what happens next🤩

I received an advanced copy and leave my honest review🥰

Ok so this book wasn't bad I want to preface that, it is just four sex scenes in a trench coat. The actual story line is entertaining and enjoyable. The characters can be juvenile at times and be a little annoying with their responses of things. Also they like to change their feelings at the drop of a hat. overall it is not bad, just ok or fine. But legit one of the spicy scenes was like 4 chapters which feels like a bit much but maybe that's just me. I will probably continue to read the series but it won't make it to my trophy shelf

Fabulous Story!!!!!!

While this book was a quicker read it was no less good. I would have like to see a bit more between Cami and Melek as I feel their final connection was a bit rushed, it was still a beautiful connection. The story pulls you into as you have to see where it is going. It is extremely well written and developed. It kept me on the edge of my seat. Then we have the final reveal in the end of the book and goodness it was for sure a major revelation. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

On the bright side, I no longer despise Typhus or think he's unredeemable.

The writing though...I feel like this book was 75% inner monologue. I don't know how anyone in this universe has a conversation when there's five minutes of inner rambling between any question and its answer. And more times than not, the answer needs to be prompted, because the character is thinking so hard they forgot they were asked anything at all.

I'll read the final book, because I'm invested by now, but I don't expect it to be an enjoyable experience.

more please

Cami is back and this time we get a little more background on her and see what’s happening behind the scenes so to speak. This book was great because I felt like we also got more insight into Lucifer and what makes him tick. I couldn’t put this book down. Less than 24 hours and suddenly the book was over. As always another fabulously written story by the amazing JR Thorn & Lexi Foss!!

didn’t want to put it down

I literally read this in one sitting. Could not put it down. So many twists and turns and answers to questions. Bonds are forming, relationships are changing, and character growth is happening. We learn even more about Camis background and when I tell you I didn’t see that coming…. That’s an understatement. I’m excited for the last book but also sad because I know it’s the end. I’ve really enjoyed this series and I’m not quite ready for it to end.

I love all of the Fae world that Lexi Foss has created. This one is the fourth instalment set in the Hell Fae Realm. I have loved this series but this book felt like filler. We found out a bit more about Camillia’s origins but besides that not a lot happened. I also found some of the crossovers with characters from another series unnecessary. I hope that we get a lot more plot in the fifth and final book Hell Fae King and spice like we saw in previous books with emotion.

One of my favorite things about paranormal books is how the creatures stay practically the same but each author creates a different lore, different power dynamics, rules, world, politics, everything is different and this series world building was amazing!!! I want to scratch my eyes out for the fact that I don't have the 5th book but these books were amazing and I cannot wait to finish this incredible story😭💖

☆ Great fantasy RH series. So much plot with a sprinkle of spice in the best way.

☆ Loved the fmc, she was sold by her father to the Hell Fae King aka lucifer and fought every step.

☆ Loved the various realms and types of fae included.

☆ I have read lots of books by Lexi and so was excited to try this series and it did not disappoint. Need to go and read them all now!

I have to say I love everything these two authors write and this book is just the same. I love the possessiveness Camillia mates have for her and how they will stop at nothing to get her back. Love the world building and characters growth that happens as each book goes on. This book had me hooked and dying for more.

Wow, just wow! I had a feeling Cammie was related to the she devil, to many coincidences to look over. But I'm so glad they all acknowledge their mate bonds to her and that she has bonded to 3 of them. Now let's wait until books 5 comes out for the final battle! I can't wait to see Cammie as a Queen!

This is a great continuation of this series. A dark romance that’s dangerous and spicy, suspenseful and tense as we follow our strong and fearless FMC and her mates. There’s twists and turns, questions, some which are answered as these characters grow and develop their relationships and bonds. The authors do a fantastic job of drawing you back in and now we are ready for the next book.

These characters are absolutely gorgeous breathtaking. I love all of them protective possessive and Melek i loved seeing this side of him. And Ty his apologies were soooo perfect to see him fight this so hard and then to show a different side towards Cami was truely amazing. I absolutely love this story

Great addition to series I love reading though for me a little out of the norm which is perfect as an in between book. I love this co-write series and the authors do a great job at writing an entertaining story. It does give some answers but not all and questions are raised too. I do hope the next book will be out soon and we don't have to wait as long to see what happens next.
