Well, that was a short lived adventure. Also a rather surprising turn with Agnes' new stance on the whole Lilie fiasco. It seems at least the two may have managed to grow closer, even if they still need to work on their communication some. Clearly, it's improving at least, and the commoner point of view shared in the after stories confirms some rather enlightening and positive views from the rest of the kingdom. Add that to the plans with Lucilleur and his brother wrapped up, and it makes sense why this is noted as the end of the series, though there is a noted volume 5 listed online. Really, if anything, it's surprising that we still haven't seen an announcement for an official heir given the way these two are like rabbits when they are together and their official marriage. Agnes did say she'd cast that contraceptive spell in the past when she thought they were breaking up and using each other, but would that still be in effect after their marriage given how driven they are by their duty in addition to their feelings?

Communication is key! Without proper communication a relationship can crumble away into nothingness and regret!
Overall, the story is fun. At the very start, both fmc and mmc are a bit problematic, but the flashback moments and inner monologues help us, the reader, to understand their actions and problem solving capabilities. I wish we could get another volume focusing on their marriage, romance, and future (babies mayhap). Alas, I will have to be satisfied with these four volumes…. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
