Leading Teams is a nice little book that contains few tips and tools for managing and leading a productive team. It is very basic, but the quality that I welcomed the most was its simplicity and unassuming text.
Topics covered includes how to form a team, set its purpose and ground rules, select team members, solve conflict and evaluate performance. At the end of the book there's a comprehensive bibliography and (most valuable) a set of surveys you can use to perform a health-check on your team or yourself.

It's by no means a groundbreaking book, however as it is a short one and is part of the Pocket Mentor series I did not expect anything of depth. This book serves its purpose well.

Not too much groundbreaking info here. Few key points on cross functional teams and team responsibilities. Glad I picked this up in the cutout section at Half Price!
