Tim's convinced that what he needs is a mother and what Dean needs is a wife. And he thinks he's got the perfect candidate in Stella O'Connell, his school's principal.

The last person Stella expects to encounter at her new school is Dean Luchetti, the man who broke her heart as a teenager. Dean and Stella may have a difficult past, but they feel the same strong attraction they always didand if they're not careful, history could repeat itself. Breaking each other's hearts is one thing, but breaking Tim's is an altogether different matter.

I really like this book. It's a Harlequin Romance, and I am embarrassed to admit that I read it. The ending was UTTERLY predictable, but getting to it was the fun. There wasn't anything new or particularly thought-provoking, and it wasn't deeply explored like the memory Keeper's Daughter or Losing Charlotte. It was a pleasant easy read with "heart-warming" bits. I finished it last night during a long bout of insomnia when I was too tired to read anything more stretching, and it was perfect for that. To tell you the truth, I'm a sucker for a good romance with a happy ending and it has kids and animals. A KID--Tim, a sweet heart-warming boy--maybe a little too sweet. Anyway, I liked it.

I've really enjoyed this series and I am sad it has now come to an end. I enjoy a predictable happy ending romance, such as Harlequin/Mills & Boon always are, because the journey towards the end is always different in each book. Sometimes a sure thing is what you need to pick you up, and with these romances, you know they end well going in.

I'm not quite sure if my opinion of this book is just given that I have not read any other of the books within the series, but as a standalone, the book was pretty average. Was it an easy read? Yes. Were there any heartfelt moments? Yes! But they just wasn't enough to make me want to rate this book any high that a 3 star, heck if i could give half stars, I'd place my bet on a 2 ½ stars but I digress. The predictable ending didn't help either. There were definitely times when the characters would get on my nerves and when I felt that the plot was being lost. However, one thing that I really enjoyed about the book was how the author really showed us why Dean was such a good dad for Tim. I also found Dean and Stella's romance to be a tab bit unpolished in the sense that I feel like more could have been done, but granted their romance could have been described in other books within the series? Overall this was an okay book, but take my review with a grain of salt because I myself never read any of the preceding books, neither am I going to read any book within the series.

While I enjoyed the book I was a bit disappointed in it. When I started the series, I was most interested in reading about this brother. I thought his personality in the earlier books gave you a glimpse of more depth than other family members and I was looking forward to his story. His sarcasm, loyalty to friends, love of nature, protector of the home, dry humor and insecurity were just not drawn out in like I had hoped. Instead of celebrating who he was, the story seemed to try to tie anything he did that was not perfect back to a single reason. What a waste, his story could have been told so much better.

Glad to finally finish this series - which has been on my to-read list for a couple years. It was a little disappointing though. The second-chance trope is my favorite, but instead of having the hero and heroine work through their issues to find their way back together, they get engaged for an entirely different reason. 😩

Oh well. There was still plenty of humor - mostly curtesy of the hero’s adopted son Tim - which made the listen enjoyable.

I REALLY LOVED THIS STORY. DEAN IS THE LAST OF THE BROTHERS IN THIS SERIES. HE IS THE GRUMPY SARCASTIC ONE IN THE FAMILY, UNTIL HE DECIDED TO ADOPT TIM INTO HIS LIFE. NOW TIM WANTS A MOMMY FOR HIM, AND A WIFE FOR DEAN, SO THAT HE CAN BE HAPPY, LIKE THE REST OF HIS FAMILY. LUCKY FOR TIM, HE FINDS OUT THAT THE NEW TEMPORARY PRINCIPAL AT HIS SCHOOL, AND DEAN WERE HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS. SO HE DEVELOPS A PLAN TO GET THEM TOGETHER. TIM'S PLAN HAS SEVERAL OBSTACLES TO OVERCOME. LOVED HOW IT ALL ENDED. THIS IS THE LAST BOOK IN THIS SERIES. I TOTALLY LOVED THIS WHOLE SERIES. I FINISHED READING THIS E-BOOK ON 5/14/2025.

Love Reunited

When Dean's almost adopted son, Tim, sets out to find a Mommy for himself and a wife for Dean, all kinds of adventures begin. This story is filled with both humor and pathos. Everyone who enjoys a family story will like this one.

This story was pretty good. Not the best I've ever read but it kept my interest enough to finish it.
