Intrigo a Hollywood è un bellissimo giallo per bambini, una storia avventurosa in cui la piccola protagonista Agatha Mistery, dodicenne londinese, ha uno spiccato senso del mistero e dell’avventura, un’incredibile memoria fotografica e un grande desiderio: diventare scrittrice di libri gialli. Puees... libro juvenil que no terminó de convencerme. Aunque amé el guiño del tío "Bud". A esta historia en Hollywood le falta acción y que Agatha brille más. El primo Larry (creo que así se llamaba) es el chiste de la historia, pobre jajaja
En fin, 2 estrellas sobre 5 por ser una lectura entretenida y aceptable.

Recenzie – „Intrigă la Hollywood” de Sir Steve Stevenson
Este a noua carte din seria „Agatha Mistery” scrisă de Sir Steve Stevenson. Povestea se axează pe o nouă aventură a detectivilor Mistery care de data aceasta are loc în Hollywood, centrul industriei cinematografice și de televiziune americane.
Scriitorul își atrage cititorii prin stilul simplu ușor de digerat. Destinația acestui roman palpitant este Hollywood, un cartier din Los Angeles, California, SUA. Alături de personajele principale suntem însărcinați să găsim persoana care încearcă să saboteze filmările celui mai nou film „Eroare Fatală” și vom face cunoștință cu Unchiul Bud, cascador în filmele de la Hollywood. Putem să-l numim „Uriașul cel Blând” datorită aspectului vânjos și al caracterului voios. Îi place să riște și este serios atunci când trebuie. Experiența lui în șoferie este arătată de-a lungul acțiunii.
Larry este băiatul copilăros, puțin neîndemânatic care dă dovadă de inteligență și curaj atunci când este nevoie. Agatha este “creierul” echipei, posedă cunoștințe vaste despre diverse domenii, este perspicace, iar dorința ei este să devină scriitoare de romane polițiste. O putem considera “detectivul fantomă”. Domnul Kent este “forța musculară” a echipei. Deși este personajul amuzant în mare parte, motanul Watson se dovedește a fi de mare ajutor asemeni unui copoi în anumite situații.
Cititorii vor descoperi de asemenea câteva secrete întunecate în spatele vieții fascinante de la Hollywood. La fel ca Larry trebuie să punem în practică ce am învățat de-a lungul vieții, mai ales în situații mai dificile, așa cum se poate observa în capitolul opt. Snobismul, exploatarea, prietenia, familia, suspansul, aventura, acțiunea, întorsătura de situație, curajul, copilul răsfățat dintr-o familie bogată de actori (ex. Thomas, fiul doamnei Lombard), râsul, viclenia sunt câteva dintre temele discutate în roman.
Alături de Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Mihail Sadoveanu, Agatha Christie, Hergé, Thea Stilton (Elisabetta Dami), Jonathan W. Stokes și mulți alții, domnul Stevenson a revoluționat literatura pentru copii prin lumea creată de el.
Recomand această carte nu numai micilor cititori, dar și adulților.

Review – “The Hollywood Intrigue” by Sir Steve Stevenson
It’s the ninth book from the “Agatha: Girl of Mystery” series written by Italian author Sir Steve Stevenson. The story focuses on the Mistery detectives’ new adventure that takes place in Hollywood, the center of the motion picture industry and American television this time.
The writer attracts his readers through his simple writing style that can be easily digested. The destination in this exciting novel is Hollywood, a neighborhood in the central region of Los Angeles, California, USA. Together with the main characters we are tasked to find the person trying to sabotage the filming of the latest movie “Fatal Error” and we will meet Uncle Bud, a stuntman for Hollywood films (stunt driver). We can call him the “Gentle Giant” due to his bulky appearance and cheerful character. He likes to take risks and is serious when needed. His driving experience is shown throughout the plot.
Larry is a childish boy. He displays intelligence and bravery when needed despite being a bit clumsy. Agatha is the brains of the team and possesses vast types of knowledge. She’s insightful and wants to be a crime novelist. We can consider her the “ghost detective”. Mr. Kent is the brawn of the team. Despite being the comic relief most of the time, Watson proves to be of great help like a hound in some cases.
The readers will also discover some dark secrets behind the glamorous life in Hollywood. Like Larry, we have to put what we learn into practice throughout our lives, especially in difficult situations as seen in chapter eight. Snobbery, exploitation, friendship, family, suspense, adventure, action, plot twist, courage, the spoiled child from a rich family of actors (e.g. Mrs. Lombard’s son, Thomas), laughter, slyness are some of the themes discussed in the novel.
Together with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Mihail Sadoveanu, Agatha Christie, Hergé, Thea Stilton (Elisabetta Dami), Jonathan W. Stokes and many others, Mr. Stevenson revolutionized children’s literature through the world that he created.
I recommend this book not only to young readers, but to adults too.

Fra tutti i libri della serie di Agatha, questo è quello che mi è piaciuto meno. Non so spiegarmi perché, forse la storia non è all'altezza di molte altre, forse mi aspettavo di più dalla destinazione scelta. Mi è piaciuto il personaggio dello zio Bud, ma per il resto non mi ha convinto la storia, come non mi hanno convinto gli indiziati.
Pasqualotto in altre storie ha fatto di meglio, per questo non farei iniziare i bambini da questo libro della serie, ma magari da altri, come "Crimine a Vienna" o "Il ritratto senza nome" o "La corona del doge".

Zio Bud sembra una copia sputata di Bud Spencer. L'ho notato solo io?
Numerosi riferimenti alla storia del cinema, una parete con le foto autografate dei grandi del cinema - solo uno non l'ho riconosciuto - e un finale ambientato sulla collina dove ci sono le letterone che formano la parola Hollywood.

come primo libro di luglio si è rivelato molto carino! indagine facile e prevedibile sta volta, ma lo zio era palesemente una copia di bud spencer e ho amato la cosa. poi è stato proprio alla hollywood maniera, quindi ho apprezzato moltissimo :) insomma, carino e divertente.. e tanti auguri a mr.kent! <3

En esta oportunidad esta serie de Agatha Mistery, si me ha gustado en Intriga en Hollywood. Demasiados sospechosos, y me costo ver quien era el culpable, hasta el final.

I really like crime books. And that's why I loved this book so much! I loved the plot, the characters and everything. Only the book is very short (only 100 pages).
