Overall, a bad series.
This one was described to make me think it’d be somewhat thriller-y. But it really wasn’t.

Cade decides he wants Bree but will continue being an escort. Bree is heartbroken and decides move on and prove to everyone that she learned how to be confident and can get her own man. Will it be the hot new neighbor Finn or the guy at the club, or someone else? There was a little twist to this book which actually made it better than all the other volumes in the series. Will Bree and Cade finally get their happily ever after or will they both just move on from their Casual Encounter?

A very satisfying series, that built a good storyline and threw in enough questions to make the reader think - and plenty of hotness to keep the reader smiling too!

Great ending to this series. The suspense of Cade's past. The ups and downs of the relationship between Bree and Cade. The more they had to work for it the better it became. I do think the suspense with Sammy in this last one was unexpected and just added to the story. M.S. Parker hasn't disappointed me yet. Can't wait to see what's in store for the next series!

What an amazing conclusion to Cade and Aubree's story. This story starts with Aubree moving on and trying to get over Cade. She tries everything she can to get Cade out of her head. All I got to say is I love this series and you must read to find out what happens next.. Can't wait to see what M.S Parker writes next

This is final installment of the casual encounters series. Cade told Aubree that he wanted to be with her and more than a client. But, in the next breath he said he wasn’t going to stop being an escort. Aubree told him she couldn’t be with him if he was going to continue to be an escort. They had an argument and she left. She misses him terribly but figures he doesn’t feel the same way about her that she feels about him if he doesn’t want to stop being an escort. The week starts out horrible. Wednesday she runs into her neighbor and asks him to have coffee with her. She is so nervous the whole day and doesn’t know why. This is what she wanted when she agreed to let Cade help her. She wanted to be confident and fell sexy. She wanted to be able to ask a man out that she was attracted to. They meet up at the café after school. They have an easy kind of conversation. She asks to see his apartment. When they get there they both know why she asked. They start kissing but she can’t stop thinking about Cade. Comparing them to each other, in the end she can’t do it. She says she is sorry and that she needs to go. Friday comes and she goes out with her friends like normal only this time they also go to a club opening after dinner. Her friends keep pointing guys out to her and finally she spots a guy and asks him to dance. They are dancing and she isn’t that into him then she sees Cade with a buxom blonde. She decides that he can move on than so can she. She asks the man back her apartment. She lets her friends know she is leaving and then they catch a cab back to her place. Things are progressing and then she is pulled away and comes face to face with Cade. She let herself forget while she was in the elevator with him. Then they went into her apartment and they had to face their problems. Is Cade there is tell her he is going to stop being an escort? Will they get their happily ever after?
Cade had been fighting his feelings for Aubree. Part of him feels likes no one would ever love him for him. That they could only love him for and face he put on for him. That if anyone would get to know him and his part that there isn’t any way that they would love him. Aubree is worried that he doesn’t feel as strongly for her as he does for him. She was devastated when he told her he didn’t plan to stop being an escort and she hadn’t let him in that much. She is worried that if she lets him and then in a month or so he realizes that he doesn’t feel that same and regrets quitting she will be crushed. I really feel for both of them. They have been through so much just in different ways. Aubree has almost no confidence in herself. Especially since she was left at the alter and then set up with Cade only to find out that he was an escort. He made her more confident in herself as well as other things. She feels better about herself because of the things Cade taught her. Cade has been through so many things as well. They have affected him emotionally. He may come off as the uber confident person and alpha male but he has a different side that he doesn’t show anyone. He shows that to Aubree in this book though. This whole series was emotional for both of them. They learned things about themselves because of each other. I was so happy with the ending. I would love to read more about them. Fantastic job M.S. Just when she thinks she is undesirable her new neighbor Finn Coulson and Damian a guy from the club she went to with her friends, is interested in her. Can she move on from Cade with one of those guys or will she be pining after Cade for longer than she wants.
I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.
Bree knows how she feels about Cade’s job and that isn’t why she couldn’t accept it. The idea of him still being intimate with other women while being with her was the issue. No woman could blame Bree for not wanting to share the man she loved with other women, after all isn’t what most think of as normal. The fact that Bree didn’t care what his past was but wanted him for who he is shows just how much she truly cares for him. Just when Bree thinks she’ll never get over Cade, she meets two handsome men who see what Cade saw in her, the beautiful amazing woman she is. Bree tries to move on and starts to spend time with Finn but he isn’t Cade. He doesn’t command her body the way Cade does. She begins to think she’ll never get over the most amazing man she’s ever been with.
At first Cade doesn’t understand why Bree has a problem with him continuing his career, after all she knew what he did for a living before intimacy between them went to the next level. Cade knows the real problem is him. After all these years he still feels like he isn’t good enough. He has his dominant side, which he lets out often and knows that Bree loves that part of him, but a part of him is still the young teenager who ran away from an abusive home. He has a hard time getting away from that and seeing what Bree see in him. When he sees Bree with another man, it brings a side of him out and he finally goes after what he wants.
This fifth and final installment of the series is the best of the series. We get to see sides of both Bree and Cade we haven’t yet and how much they truly love each other. They both are stubborn and unwilling to see past their own hang-ups to see what they have in front of them. When they finally do, the chemistry between them explodes. A blast from Cade’s past arrives just in time to set off a chain of events that tests Bree love for him and just how far she is willing to go to be with him. Once Cade finds out how much Bree truly loves him, he is willing to accept it and take things further than he has ever done.
M. S. Parker took this series to some daring parts and left her readers reeling from the twist and turns. Cade and Bree’s story is one that leaves you breathless and wanting more. I have to say this is in my top three for books written by M. S. Parker and I highly recommend reading this series to anyone wanting a daring romance novel.

There are writers who release their work volume by volume and M.S. Parker is of the few that do it very well, Casual Encounter being one of those works. Her gift isn't just within the crafting of the story itself but knowing exactly when to cut the scenes so the reader isn't left annoyed but rather, intrigued, at what will happen next.
Bree is a woman scorned, and hurt so badly she sees no hope for any love in her future. She'd been left at the altar at her long-planned wedding when the groom ran off with the wedding planner. Jilted and betrayed, she's sworn off anything to do with men, dating, and romance. Her two best friends don't see it that way and an attempt to get them to back off has her agreeing to a blind date that has disaster on the horizon. She is rescued by a virtual stranger, who turns out to be her next blind date!
Cade feels nothing for women except the good time he can give them. That good time comes at a price, though, one he charges a pretty penny for. Or a decadent dollar, since he's one of the top, highest paid escorts with benefits in the city. Slowly (VERY slowly) he turns into a person you would want to know as more of himself is revealed. I came to actually like him - not pity, Cade is too strong for that - and rooted for him at the end when Bree had a choice of who she could end up with.
On the other hand, Bree was always strong, despite being so very sadly insecure and lacking in self worth. Cade proved to be more than good for her, showing her exactly how attractive she truly is, negating those little voices that whisper she's worthless and undesirable. She completely aced his challenges and fought back for her beliefs, no matter what the consequences would be.
This is a beautifully fast-paced book that keeps you constantly on the edge, even during the inevitable happy ending. You would never know how things would turn out exactly which is something I truly enjoy. Add the pain that Cade has gone through to the sexual tension and hinted suspense throughout Casual Encounter, and you've got a truly sexy, hot read courtesy of M.S. Parker.

Redeemed. Cade is redeemed. This final installment of the series more than makes up for the Cade's short comings in the previous installment. However, Ms. Parker takes the reader on quite a ride before Bree's life reaches her HEA. I wasn't sure that the author could ratchet up the sexual tension between Cade and Bree any more, but I was wrong. The transformation of Bree through the series is remarkable. She is no longer the shy, demure schoolteacher. Now she is a confident, courageous, sensual woman. Had the things she endured in volume 5 happened in volume 1, she certainly would have turned and ran; rather than fighting and facing things head on. I loved to see Bree come into her own and finally feel comfortable in her own skin. The changes in Cade are no less remarkable. Amazing what the love of a good woman can do for the even the most damaged of men.
This installment picks up with Bree trying to forge ahead with a broken heart and soul. Cade's first revelation shocked her, his second broke her. Determined to forget him and move on with life she tries to date other men. She meets a new tenant in her building, can she move on with him? or is there someone else out there for her? On a night out with her friends, Bree meets a new man and sees Cade with a woman. Determined to erase him from her soul, she asks the her new man to leave the club with her. Again, she is rescued by Cade, this time permanently. Declarations of love are made and a new life looms on their horizon, only to have the past nearly take everything away. This time Aubree rescues Cade and all the secrets from his past are revealed. A new life together and a new career for Cade prove to bring both characters to an HEA.
This volume packs a lot of action and suspense. Cade's secrets are revealed and they are nothing that Bree expected. The plot twists are unexpected and the reader is shown just how strong Bree has become. I enjoyed this series. To me, it was very different than any of her other series. The storyline... the plot... everything was different. I have to admit that I absolutely loved this author and will one click her books without even really looking because I know she is that good and I know what to expect. And this book hit that mark.
This book was really good. It was sweet, sexy, naughty, suspenseful, and left me totally satisfied at the end (though each book does have a cliffhanger until the final volume). This book really did a good job showing the strength and perseverance a woman can have when life gives her a hand of sh!t. This book flowed well and had me turning the pages quickly wanting to get to the end.
This is Bree and Cade's story. In the final installment of this series, it all comes to an end. Cade won't give up being an escort and commit to her so she knows she has to let go and move on. As she tries to date, she meets several men who could be possibly the one... except none compare to Cade. Will Cade come to his senses, quit the escort lifestyle, and get his girl? Or will Bree move on to someone else and find her happy ending?
I liked Bree and Cade enough. I had a hard time connecting with both of them at times and that really was hard for me though I loved the storyline. In true MS Parker fashion, she has more twists and turns for these two!

HOLY WOW IT REALLY IS THE END
All that everyone wanted was for Bree to get a man and sleep with him , a casual encounter to help move on and gain some confidence. Well here we have her attempting. Not only does she find her sexy new neighbor but then she has a hot run in at a club. Sadly having issues in the sparks flying department it is so hard to watch Bree struggle to move on. Cade may have shown her the ropes but he then turned and strangled her with them when he made his choice. Surprise surprise just as Bree is going to seal the deal someone steps in and ends her fun.
With a teachers salary and some saved money will Cade and Bree make it in the real world together ?? Who the heck is Sammy and what is his role in Cade's life ?? I loved the hint of suspense and shock in this volume , it was a bit more intense than in 1-4. Sammy brought a shady feel to the story and again we get more of Cade's painful past. Finally on the road to happiness we can enjoy Cade and Bree's journey of love. They have such a great honesty about them and I absolutely loved the art show scenes.
This may have been my favorite of all the serials MS has so far !! Something about Cade just hooked me , he may not have been as easy to relate to right away but you just knew there was something in him that was going to be phenomenal.

H does a total 180 in this book. Why the fuck she still hangs around with her friend who he was fucking for money behind her back I have no clue. Yea, there's a HEA but how do you sit in a room with them and not think, we were both fucking him at the same time AND Adele apparently liked to rub her face in it by asking if he spanked her as well. I hated so many things. He still was with other women until this last book. He gets mad at Bree for ending it when she finds out he is still sleeping with her friend, oh, and she hears him leave Adele a message to bring the toys she likes. He slept with her friend behind her back. Her friends were cunts. So much was just wrong here. The only book that was remotely romantic was the last one. I guess I have an idea of how I want my romances to go, no cheating, technically or not. No fucking the best friends and the h is the bad guy because she gets upset about it. No telling the h to fuck another man,a stranger, that the H sets her up with. Is this romantic? I just can't understand it. I enjoy this author in her other series but this series just pissed me off consistently. Just my opinion folks. It wasn't the writing it was the story line. I just hated pretty much everyone except her neighbor Fin, the only nice guy she basically runs from. Whatever, onwards...

So in Vol 4 we find out Chad has feelings for Bree. Yay! but he's going to keep being a gigolo?? Boooo! Bree isn't having that. As soon as he told her his occupation would remain the same, she was out of there. She wasn't having that.
She knows it's his own insecurities but she doesn't know what to do, so she walks away. Now that she's on her own she's ready to test her new skills and do what she can to get over Chad.
As Bree tries to move on with life w/o Chad she finds begins to learn about herself. She realizes that Chad's lessons really did improve her self confidence. She does feel sexy. She can see the change in herself. Three cheers for Chad.
Chime in handsome new neighbor. The guys is actually a really nice guy. They have a little thing, but she still can't get Chad off her mind so it doesn't go very far but after that, she's told her self she's going to go "all the way" with her next opportunity...but Chad's not done yet.
This last installment in the series will give you the ending you want with a little suspense in the mix to spice it up a bit.

Cade must have taught her well considering she manages to shock them whilst leaving with her date, however she doesn't exactly get very far considering when she reaches her apartment someone pulls her date away from her. The last thing she was expecting was for Cade to show up and to profess his love for her.
Will she admit that she loves him and wants him back or will she leave it so that he walks away.

A beautiful finally to ta tortured romance. A romance of the flesh as well as the heart. Cade never thought he would be anything more than what he was to the women he was with, and Escort until she found him. Aubrey never thought she would find the missing pieces of her shattered heart until he found them. Together they mended and yes broke but mended the pieces that made them one. I think that this was my favorite of the serial. There acceptance of each other's love, the way they complimented each other in a way that no one one really could for either of them. The fact that Cade above all realizes that he need Aubrey more than anything else in his life, was just breath taking. I loved the ending! And no I am not giving it away, you are just going to have to read the shocks and surprises that await you in the Final Casual Encounter.

Absolutely fantastic ending to a fantastic series! I couldn't put these down once I started and read the entire series all the way through in one day. You won't want to stop once you've started. Aubree and Cade decide to give a relationship a try only Cade thinks he's going to continue his "job." Aubree immediately lets him know that's not happening
and decides to leave. Cade lets her... then he realizes he can't live without her. He makes the decision to quit being an escort and go back to Aubree. She eventually convinces him to try his hand at art and works at making that a career - with none other than Aubree as his model. I quite enjoyed this entire series well worth a read! Each volume is a solid 4 stars and I would highly recommend them all!

Wow....just....Wow!
A definite 5 star rating. This series is just incredibly beautiful. As with most all love stories, real or otherwise, there will be hard times to smooth over and beautiful times to lavish in. Cade took a bit longer to come around to Aubree's thinking and to admit his true feelings but isn't that often how it goes? These 2 beautiful people stuck it out and didn't give up. Must have been all that beautiful sex....hmm? I definitely recommend this series to anyone who loves love. If you are too sensitive to admit life has these beautiful happenings then just keep on walking. But if you do admit yes then take the plunge and read, read, read every one of the parts in this series. I know you will love it too.

I have had the pleasure of reading all the series back to back. This is a great series that has you hooked from volume 1 and leaves you wanting more with each volume. There is definite hotness factor in this series so do not worry about that i loved how it was a romance story that had the lead female having to not fall in love. It was a refreshing change, there are plenty of twists and revelations as we go through the series. All i can say is buy this series, yes there are cliff-hangers but i do love cliff-hangers when you are so caught up in the story, and this was certainly the case with this series. Bree and Cade are great characters who have to battle their feelings and the spark between them, the sort of story i love.

M.S.Parker you are a writing god.Casual encounter vol. 5 was a great conclusion to a truly great series. You took cade and aubree'S hot sexual and truly arousing story to a great conclusion. When aubree walks out on cade because he's not willing to quit his escort business it causes a chain reaction that will keep you in suspense. Will cade and Aubree be able to find happiness after everything that has happened and will it survive Cade and aubrees pasts. M.S. parker's series casual encounter series is truly a must read. The whole series keeps you enticed and craving more at every turn of the page.

Casual Encounters Vol V is very fast paced. While the first couple in the series were Bree exploring her sexuality and coming out of her shell with Cade’s help. This one was hot with Bree and Cade’s need for each other. Cade’s past comes full front and Bree almost loses him. There were a lot of emotional highs and lows for Bree. I found myself even feeling for Cade and his past. Bree and Cade work together to make a future. It was endearing and sweet to see them work through everything. The ending was really great. Casual Encounters is an excellent series that you will want to read off of the books.

Bree didn't give Cade an ultimatum but really, how could she not want him to stop doing his job? If you care for someone, you change what you can or try to. Poor Cade saw escorting as the only thing he could do for an income, but fails to see his talent in his art. Bree can not share Cade so instead puts what she learns to use. Finn the new neighbor seems perfect and not a long term thing with his job but then there is Damian who could be a quickie and make her forget. Who does she choose? M.S. Parker does a great job of keeping the reader on the edge til the last moment as always.
