STOLEN KISS FROM A PRINCE by author Teresa Carpenter is Harlequin Romance and M&B Cherish release for April 2014.

Quite by accident Katrina ended up sleeping in Prince Julian's bedroom and in his arms, though with the Prince's just-orphaned nephew between them. They shared a close moment as well.

Then the Prince changed to his so called reputation, The Ice-Cold Prince. But he cannot forget that moment he kissed Katrina, though protocol demanded that he behave with decorum now. Would the ice-cold Prince change and admit to needing love? And what would happen when he finds out about Katrina's secret?

Is Katrina right to keep such a big secret? Wouldn't it be better to let loved ones help?

STOLEN KISS FROM A PRINCE is an amazing and heart-warming romance. Author Teresa Carpenter brought royalty to life on the pages and their lives and romances. She depicted how being a Prince makes no difference to wanting and needing love. The tender moment when Julian asks Katrina to hold his hand moved me to tears. It was such a poignantly sweet moment.

Highly recommended for all lovers of romance.

4.5 out of 5 stars.

Very emotional book. Katrina is the nanny for her godfather's children and is helping to care for a visiting child. When his parents disappear in a storm, his uncle Julian comes to get him and take him home to Kardana. Young Sammy isn't handling it well and Julian is out of his depth so he asks Katrina to come along and help. Katrina is drawn to Julian but needs to keep her distance. She has things in her past that could come back to haunt her.

I really liked both Katrina and Julian. Katrina is a caring and compassionate young woman. She is fiercely protective of Sammy and has no problem standing up for what she feels is right. She is also protective of others she loves, and tries to stay out of the public eye because of mistakes she made in her past. She is attracted to Julian but afraid of what could happen.

Julian is trying to cope with his grief and the sudden need to fill his brother's shoes. He uses logic and reasoning to make decisions and the sudden influx of emotions is messing with his usual way of doing things. Katrina's compassion gives him a safe place to escape to. He is attracted to her but feels he has too much going on to have any kind of serious relationship.

The attraction that they feel for each other and act on they each feel will be short lived. Katrina doesn't trust that her past will stay in the past and Julian feels he has too much else going on for a real relationship. When the tabloid press get involved, Katrina feels that her fears have come to pass. Julian tries to convince her to stay, but goes about it in the wrong way. I was happy to see that Katrina had the courage to stand up for what was right for her. Julian was so overwhelmed with running the kingdom that he ignored what was happening to him. And when he finally realized it, he didn't want to admit it because it was just one more thing piled up on him. It wasn't until Katrina was gone that he realized how much he needed her. I loved seeing him go after her and convince her of his feelings.

Every woman wants to be kissed by a Prince, I mean what could be more romantic? In this read from Teresa Carpenter it comes down to not what could be more romantic but what could be more forbidden.

The heroine Katrina has a deep and dark secret that she wants to remain hidden for the rest of her life, if anyone should find out the mess that would follow would simply be too much to handle.

But ending up in the arms of make my knees go weak Prince Julian let's her momentarily forget all her fears, but truly only for a moment, before it all comes crashing down and she has to find a way to get out before she loses all her senses and has to stand by and watch her world end.

I loved, loved, LOVED this book. So sweet and romantic it gave me that awesome spine tingling romance feel from the start right up till the end. The characters were wonderfully created by the author and I fell head over heals in love with them all.

I adored how the author let Prince Julian become a better man through the realization that he loves Katrina, it brought home that special message of "Love can change us all".

The backdrop settings were extremely special to me, as the author's descriptions brought to life the world of royalty and I could picture myself as a Princess awaiting the ball to begin!

I am taking away a message of when keeping a secret simply because you think it might ruin the life of another, take a step back and try to remember that the person is a lot stronger than you think and could be the one to help get you through it. Do not make decisions for others , in the end this could be worse than the secret you kept hidden.

I recommend this read for all fans of romance, it was sweet, sensual and so brilliantly put together it simply left me breathless! The perfect escape into romance meets royalty!

Karakternya mampu mengimbangi dominansi Julian.

Solidly enjoyable contemporary. Abrupt ending when I could have used another 10-some pages of HEA building, but such is the way of a Harlequin. Quick, charming read.

A somewhat different angle on capturing-a-prince plot. Two likable leads (the hero's type = catnip to me, and definitely helped my rating, but it was earned not in spite), who have opinions and strengths, make their mistakes that don't feel forced, and make their amends that feel suited & sincere. They are a good pair, and since he featured prominently, a believable pair of parents for the orphaned prince.

A lot seemed throwaway here, not lingered over even when revealed and I thought wait, that seems major tho? but all that did is keep the pace brisk and me reading along. I didn't really need weighty More from it.

They had an insta-connection but it made sense for me considering the circumstances. However I believed the intensity grew into more naturally and wouldn't fade as their lives normalized.

This book starts off sad but ends happy. Lots of relationship with the nanny and Prince Julian and cute Sammy. A couple of love scenes that I skipped over towards the end. This was quick read that was enjoyable characters.

The plot the Prince and Princess of Kardana went on a skiing trip and left their three year old son at neighboring kingdom of Pasadonia. Their plane has gone missing. Sammy was told by his nanny that his parents are missing. Sammy has thrown fits and is hard to calm down. Katrina has been the only one to get him asleep.

When Prince Julian comes to pick up his nephew he ends up taking Katrina with him to help get his nephew home. Because of weather they travel by Royal train car. Katrina & Prince get close and she helps him with Sammy.

It makes you want to ride a train. Of course it helps to have two princes with you.

Katrina has secrets in her past and does not want to be seen in public by press. She is distantly related to King of Pasadonia and is his Goddaughter where she works as a nanny too his twins sons. She does not want to leave the palace to go take care of Sammy but she has cared for him so finally agrees.

Sammy is cute almost three year old Prince who just lost his parents. His nanny left before they were to go home. He wants Katrina over his Uncle Julian. He misses his parents.

Prince Julian now as to take running over Kardana. He likes staying in the background, but his father had a stroke last year and both of his sons picked up the slack. Now it all falls to him. Katrina helps comfort him when his brother is found.

I liked the book, liked how Katrina made things better for Sammy. Even if she had to face off a prince and King to do so.
I would read another book by Teresa Carpenter again.

I was given this ebook to read and asked in return to give honest review from Netgalley and Harlequin.

Katrina has taken to the young prince Samson or Sammy as she affectionately refers to him. His parents are missing after a crash and some idiot (aka his nanny) told him that they were missing and never coming back. Since then he has been inconsolable. Katrina is the only one that can get him to sleep and rest. When his uncle Julian comes to collect the boy, she's attracted to him but she knows nothing will ever come of it. He's a prince and perhaps the next king if his brother and sister in law is not found.

Julian is under a lot of pressure. He is devastated by the accident that his brother and sister in law was in and are now missing. His father was so upset and sent him to collect Samson. While there he encounters Katrina and mistakenly thinks she's the reason Samson is so distraught. He just wants to get his nephew and go home so he can over see the search for his family. Tessa, the nanny leaves and quits her job leaving Julian in the lurch to find a new nanny. Katrina goes home with them until a replacement can be found.

I do love a 'forbidden' romance. I say that with the quotes because this relationship was only forbidden in each of their minds. Her mind is thinking her past will come back to hurt all of the people she's in contact with. His mind thinks that he has way too much on his plate to even contemplate a real relationship with her. What they have is a mutual attraction and they act on it, both thinking it's for a short time and they are going to get as much as they can from it. Katrina get's spooked and runs. The question is will the prince run after her?

Fantastic read. I enjoyed it very much and it took no time at all to read. Check it out, you won't regret it!

I finished Stolen Kiss From a Prince by Teresa Carpenter. I have to say that this story fits well into Harlequin Romance line. Of course, the Romance line produces some sweet and lovable stories with little heat, and Stolen Kiss From a Prince fits in perfectly.

In the story, we meet Katrina Vincente who has been charge to take care of the newly orphan heir to the Kardana. She has no problem loving the boy, but she has a hard time dealing with the uncle, Julian Ettenburl. Now Julian comes off a bit cold and unfeeling. However, Julian and Katrina have this instant chemistry, but need to keep with in the lines after all he's a prince and she's the nanny.

Stolen Kiss From a Prince is a sweet story about a prince who never thought he would need to be in charge and a girl who wants to stay in the background. I enjoyed how they start to warm to each other, especially Julian. Julian sees that his life goes a little bit smoother when Katrina around. I also love how Katrina tries to show the family members that Sammy needs to love, since his parents have past. So, if you don't mind an arrogant prince who might be a bit cold at times and nanny who's a bit meddlesome, you might enjoy the sweet story of Stolen Kiss From a Prince.

Kardana is in a crisis. The King and Queen are missing and feared dead. Samson, the three year old heir to the throne has just been informed that his parents are dead and the child is shrieking at the top of his lungs. Add to that, Prince Julian, the boy's handsome uncle, has suddenly been thrust into the limelight, coordinating the search for his brother and sister-in-law amidst the plane's wreckage, handling damage control with the media, as well as locating a suitable nanny for his young nephew.

Although Tessa is selected as the boy's caregiver, young Samson sees through her façade. He wants nothing to do with her. Instead, he prefers the lovely Katrina Vicente, god daughter of the kind of a neighboring kingdom. Katrina is happy to assist, but she prefers keeping a low profile, hiding in subservient position far below her birthright.

Unfortunately, the press appeal of the current situation thrusts the entire royal family into the spotlight. Katrina can hide no longer. What can she do about her growing feelings for Prince Julian? What will the handsome prince do when he learns of her past indiscretion?

I received this book through Net Galley in turn for an honest review.

This book was blah to me. I couldn't attach to the characters or story. It honestly bored me. There were no memorable quotes that really spoke to me. The whole connection between the characters was off. I just didn't believe it. I didn't believe in their love. To me it's very important to root for the couple and I just didn't. She had a stick up her butt throughout the book and he was flippant with his feelings and actions. I had no back story to really get to know them. The author to me spent most of the focus of the book on the tragedy and less on the actual live characters. This book just wasn't for me. I finished it in a day, but I didn't enjoy it. I had to push myself to finish it. I love books that bring me joy and make me feel alive. This book just didn't do it for me. There are great books out there I just have to dig through the dull ones to find them.

I think I may be on a book hangover. I initially started this book one day during the week, but didn't get much reading time. Then I wake up, open my kindle app one morning, and could not put it down. I wound up reading pretty much all of it in 4 hours. Carpenter delivers a sweet, clean, and totally enjoyable romance. I not only liked the main characters, but the secondary ones as well. I just wanted to cuddle little Sammy aka Samson. Prince Julian, who is known for being cold and unemotional, was strong and showed his softer side only around Katrina. As for Katrina, I normally like my leading ladies sassy and fierce, but I was as drawn to her, just like all the characters in the book. She wins you over with her kind, caring, and sweet nature. Plus she shows her fierce core when her passion for the people she cares about comes out. I loved seeing how Julian and her grew in their relationship through their ordeals. They balanced each other out perfectly. I am now going to hunt through other titles written by Carpenter to download

I loved this book from the very beginning & I'm so glad that I started it when I did because it was exactly what I needed! This book is a sweet, relaxed, & fairly quick read. It's easy to love the characters & I liked that there weren't any huge dramas/issues, besides what Katrina has blown out of proportion in her mind! There really wasn't a character that I didn't like, except Tessa, but she really played a small part in the book, although she had a great impact over the very beginning. Katrina was sweet, willingly to do whatever necessary to take care of Sammy, even if that meant standing up to the royal family. I would definitely recommend this book if you are looking for a feel-good romance!

I wanted to like this book but I couldn't. I was just so bored because nothing was really happening. I feel like the most important aspect to a romance book is the chemistry between the two leads and Katrina and Julian had none. They felt so forced and the dialogue between them was so stiff and formal. It was also really insta-love too which just did not work for me. Katrina was okay though she was lacking a bit in personality. Julian was so pompous and annoying. He came off as stiff and indecisive. He kept pushing Katrina away only to pull her back in moments later, it got to be pretty tiresome after a while. DNF at 54%

*** I have received an ARC via NetGalley ***

"Stolen Kiss From a Prince" is a sweet read to escape a rainy day or to relax on the couch.
It was a perfect fantasy - but somewhat predictable.
I'd have preferred that the characters had more depth, especially because the couple Julian and Katrina went from strangers to being instantly starry eyed and that was way too obvious.
But in terms of romance it was wonderful, the right amount of "sugar" without becoming too cheesy ;)

I like Harlequin romance books because they are easy reading when you are in the mood for just pure fluff. This book doesn't disappoint! There is a little tension between Katrina and Julian (the Prince) but mostly because she is looking out for Sampson and Julian has to learn to trust. I do wish there had been an epilogue at the end to sort of tie it all up in a nice package, but it was still good.

I gotta say, not a bad story, but I could never really connect with the characters.

Katrina and Julian were not bad characters, I just never bought the fact they fell in love with each other. Good friends perhaps, but lover? Not so much. Things felt too awkward and then too rushed.

It just wasn't for me.

An OK read for me - but mostly because royalty romances aren't normally my thing. What I appreciated the most about this story is how the heroine eventually finds her own voice. She grows over the course of the story. Also, there's a lot of well-done angst here, and it's even a touch suspenseful.

This is a great book to read when you are in need of a change. I am still reading outside my normal genre of 80% Urban Fantasy and 20% Mystery and I find the change to be pretty good. I enjoyed this book! It is a one of the ones I'll re-read again.
