This is a thriller mystery, the second book in the Shadow Series. This is not meant to be read as a stand alone, it does pick up where the last book left off. But with all the details Addison Kline gives, you are not lost in the book, but I advise reading the first book to get the full story. I recommend this to any one who loves a nail biting read. This book keeps you guessing and there are so many unexpected moments, it is a exciting read. I really love how connected the Morrow family is, and I love how this book extends to new characters that have some sort of relationship to the first characters in the series. I can not wait to read the next book.
This story picks up with a new character coming home, Tristan Morrow is back in school, it has been three years since she was attacked, things have went back to "normal". But is there ever really "normal" after you have been through living hell? Just when people are starting to relax there is a couple murders in town, it hits close to the Morrow family. Fingers are being pointed in every direction, the wrong direction. But not leaving any stone unturned, DiNolfo and her officers are determined to find the killer. Elkhart police department investigation is at a stand still, until Tristan Morrow offers some very important information. Will they be able to solve this case before anything else can happen? Can this small town handle anymore devastation?
