13 Free Baby Crochet Patterns Book starts out with a letter from the editors, table of contents where each item has it's own chapter under the same categories. Each pattern starts with a title, desingers name and blog/publication and a bit about the item. A color photo is also included along with abbreviations list of terms used, guage, materials needed size of item. Directions are enlclsoed but no pictures along the way. Some items are charted No level mentioned but a beginner should be able to do all these. Thanks to all the designers is listed at the end with their links/pages. What I like about this book is many different thicknesses of yarns can be used.
I started out and thought was very good, informative and helpful pictures enabling a beginner to be able to produce some lovely items.
My only concern was with the teething toys and adding beads as not sure if they should be on a teething ring. As the author had testers, I'm sure this would have come up and consideration given. It will be when I've looked at the items a decision whether to use the beads will be made.
The only downside was that with some of the shoe patterns a link was provided for different sizes and thus was chargeable so hold that thought.
I'm really looking forward to creating some of the items.
This is a nice collection of patterns from a number of names I'm familiar with in the crochet world. A few of them I have no intention of making, but there are several slipper/sandal patterns that are adorable! Overall, the instructions are very detailed. I'm especially interested in assembling the baby rattle.
Had a great deal of fun crocheting these adorable baby patterns. If you are just starting out trying to crocheting baby things or if you been crocheting for a time now. This book is for you. Not making these cute items for baby. Debra H.
This is a unique collection of crochet for a baby. I liked most of the patterns but a couple I didn't care for. I think it gives a good variety to choose from so if you know someone with a baby or for a shower gift these would be helpful.
There are several cute projects from online crochet bloggers included here. This is a small collection but all are easy enough for a beginning crocheter.
This crochet book comes with complete step-by-step instructions and photos of the finished item. Some, but not all, come with photos for many of the steps.
Great patterns, lots of cute stuff but it was a wall of text. Would have been better with more 'progress pictures' to make sure you're on the right track before you've completed 3 whole steps and then realize you have to go back 4.
Great patterns for the novice to the experienced crocheter. Some cute toys to blankets. Some hat patterns as well as booties. This is a nice addition any crafter's library.
This book has a few more girly patterns than boys but there are a few that I would like to try. Probably not beginner level but easy-intermediate. BONUS-right now this e-pattern book is FREE!
Great patterns and instructions. Patterns are perfect for shower gifts. I will definitely be making most of these soon as we are expecting a new great niece.
