This is book 3 of 3 but it's not the end, the story continues.
Cassie is training hard with the witches and wants to be ready before Rafe arrives, meanwhile Rafe is in trouble and wonders if he'll even get to Cassie.
Once they're reunited both have news and plans have to be made. I enjoyed this book it's an interesting end to this mini series and lots of new characters are introduced as Cassie discovers exactly what Pyramid Corporation are doing which makes her more determined than ever to free the children.
While I enjoyed this book it seemed a little jumpy in places, for example there's an incident early on which seemed to be almost skimmed over.
In this book Cassie and Rafe's story finds an end, at least for now but the story continues in 'Touched by the Dragon Lord'

Not the HEA I was Expecting

I was kind’ve shocked that the author decided to kill off all but three of Rafe’s pack and holes that leave you guessing. The series shifts from Cassie and Rafe onto Xavier the dragon and Cerce. Not planning on reading any further.

Great ending to the first part of the story. This is the 3rd out of 3 books about Cassie and Rafe. There are many more books in this series but this is a kind-of sum up to their story. This series is about what was thought to be a war but is really an alien invasion. People mutated into bear, wolf and other shifters or into zombies.....not what I thought but the series has kept me into it from the start.

This book is part of Kindle Unlimited.

I will definitely be reading the other books in this series.

Rafe and Cassie Ihave been through a lot together. This one tops the other two. Rafe finds his self fleeing the compound after the Anu air craft was destroying it. He lot his pack expect for Selina and Clark. Rafe decides it's time to go and get Cassie. They have a lot of bumps in the roads before they even get to where they need to be. I have to say this is filled with a lot of passion suspense and drama it keep you on your toes cause you don't know what's going to happen next!!!

This is the third part of what I feel is one book but released in three separate pieces. This part is the conclusion to Cassie and Rafe's story but not the end of the series. I have truly enjoyed the world that this author created and have already added the next 3 pieces to my list and started reading. I don't want to give away the ending but if you have gotten to this part you won't be disappointed.

I enjoy this series and will continue to read the next trio that is out. But I must say that "Rafe's terrible loss" should not have been skimmed over with no real emotional turmoil to the character. He just seemed to bounce right back and dismiss the tragedy which reflects poorly on both of the primary characters.

This is book 3 of a 8/9 book serial. I usually hate serials, but I got 1 & 2 as a freebie download and they intrigued me enough that I actually want to read the rest of them now. I'm not a fan of the $0.99/book price though so I am not really running out and jumping on the rest of them. Maybe if they were lumped together in a volume box set...

While Cassie is away with the witches, Rafe's bunker is attacked by the Pyramid Corp. Only he, Clark and Selina make it. They decide to head out to meet up with Cassie. They learn of a mixed shifter site and head there and then make plans to rescue the children in the dome in LA. I loved watching Cassie come into her powers.
