Blake and Jennifer are getting ready for the biggest event of their lives, they are so in love that nothing is going to ruin their day!! Or are they? Take a walk into the lives of Blake and Jennifer and see what is happening after the end of book 3 when Jennifer says I do!

The week of Jennifer's birthday rolls around and Jennifer's parents come out to spend the week with their only child, the one and only child they ever had and that they love more than life itself. They have been waiting and saving for Jennifer's wedding their whole lives to make sure they can give their daughter the wedding she deserves! They have sacrificed a lot for this day and Jennifer's mom has all kinds of plans in her mind about what she wants for her daughter.

Unfortunately at the friday dinner at Blake's parents house all her dreams may be crushed as Blake and Jen reveal the day of their wedding and all hell breaks loose. Everything that Jen and her parents want is thrown out the window as Blake's mom, right from the table calls her event planner and the wedding is neatly taken out of Jennifer's and Blake's hands and her parents are going to have no say at all.

The next morning when Jennifer takes her parents to the airport, they stop for breakfast at a little cafe and they talk about the whole situation and Jennifer apologizes to her parents and says :But Mom, Dad. You've wanted to make me a wedding your entire life." Her father states to her, "No honey, We've only wanted to make you happy our entire life. With the money we saved for your wedding, we may do something else we've always wanted to do." Her mother asks what would that be? And Jen's father answers "Sail to Europe on the Queen Mary." Her mother says "Oh lordy could we really?" And her father answers "as soon as Jennifer and Blake tie the knot, I'm booking two first class tickets," This made Jen feel so happy, her parents deserved so much for the way they had always taken care of her and always put her first and so she was glad Blake's family was paying for her wedding so her parents could finally do things they deserved!

I will not tell you anything else except that there is another book, which will be the end of the series and continue from where this one stops and this one stops with an epic cliffhanger! At least we only have to wait until December!

This book is filled with a lot of twists and turns and one does not know what is going to happen, and it does have a few characters from the last books we do not want to see make a reappearance! There is a lot of drama, sexual angst and hook-ups, and one scene has me laughing out loud!

After meeting with Blake's mom for lunch as Blake wants to tell his mom to tell the wedding planner to quit being so over bearing, after they leave Blake hops on a freeway going the opposite direction from where they should be going and Jen asks Blake where they are going and Blake tells her they are going to Las Vegas to get married, and though Jen is so tempted she makes Blake realize they can't do that. So Blake gets off the freeway.

You will love this book and you have to read it!
1 Will Blake and Jen survive the wedding?
2 Will Kitty Kat be successful in breaking up Blake and Jen?
3 Will there be a wedding?
4 Will Jen get so upset about everything she just leaves?
5 Which wedding dress wil Jen wear -the ugly one the wedding planner picked out for her or the wedding dress Chaz, Libby's brother is making for her?
6 Will Blake get caught up in any compromising positions he can't explain?
7 What happens at the end of this book?

Will there be a happily ever after to this relationship with all the angst, underhandedness of some people, and just dealing with all of it along with their grueling work schedules? We will have to wait for book 5 to find out. So take a leap of faith with me and read this book and you will laugh, cry and be touched by a lot!

I gave this book 5*****stars!

Well bend me over and tickle me sideways ....Hot damn, Blake Burns is back with a BANG literally, oh Lord where to start.

So those who are following the That Man series know we ended book 3 with a wedding to be, first let me say, book 4 does not bring you the wedding of the year, we have book 5 to look forward to for that, YES you read that right, there is going to be a 5th book YET... that little minx Nelle is going to keep us waiting, but don't be disappointed, book 4 is just as hot and oh so well worth the read.....plus we don't have long to wait for the book 5.

So...... Blake and Jen finally set a date, or should I say Blake decided the date they should marry, which Jen is in agreement with.......I'd like to say they set to work planning their marriage together, while having lots of hot sex in between, but it's kinda been wrenched from Jens hands causing her anxiety, and all she gets to do is turn up on time just to be told how things are going to go down, which makes me feel sorry for Jen.

As with any girl getting married, and wants nothing more then to have her mother involved in the planning, but oh no, Blake's mum is going to make sure it's done to perfection, it's Jens big day yet she has no say, everything has to be perfect for the biggest wedding of the year, which is all every one is going to be talking about...... with a guest list of over a thousand people and mostly celebs and people of wealth, it's all a bit too much for poor humbled Jen to get her head around.

we welcome the return of Blake's grandma, who is just awesome, such a funny lady, we also get to know her name and a little bit about her, which I was hoping for...she gives the best one liners, and says one of the funniest things I've read, but I won't spoil it for you by telling you lol ;-)

Nelle has wrote this book so perfectly, it's funny, sexy, has romance, everything I love in a good book.

I will warn you though.....there is a cliff hanger as big as my arse and that's big, it's a hand to mouth moment which will leave you saying "OMG Nelle...how could you" it will leave you begging for more.

most definitely a huge 5***** star read.

Love you Nelle....mwha xxxx

~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads Review Team~

I loved the first three books in this series. This book I just wanted to slap the hell out of everyone! Jen for not sticking up for herself and her wants, Blake for not standing up to his mother and for not dealing with Kat. The mother needed a slap, the wedding planner needed a slap, they all needed a slap!! Because I loved the first three books so much I muddled through this book and will of course read the final book but I sure the heck hope someone gets slapped or someone grows some balls because I wanted to reach through my Kindle and kill someone!

Characters: The characters were well written and believable.

Sex: yes

Religious: no

Would I recommend to others: yes

More than one book in the series: yes

Genre: Romance

Would I read more by this author: yes

The That Man Series just keeps getting better and better, funnier and sexier. Nelle has really found herself as an author at the top of her game with this humorous erotic romance.

Blake is just wonderful. Lovable, funny, and sometimes, downright outrageous. In this book we are introduced to some hilarious characters; namely the wedding planners, and we find out more about Blake's very high maintenance mother. Everyone knows how stressful weddings can be, and Nelle nails it in That Man 4. Poor Jennifer and Blake are swimming in the deep end (yes, swimming, you'll see why) as the wedding plans get more fanciful and "creative".

Laugh out loud with this funny, heart-warming and sexy read.

Bravo Nelle! No wonder this series is a runaway success. Can't wait for book 5.

Oh my god this book is so freaking amazing I can't wait for the last book. Nelle out did herself I loved the first 3 books but I love the books more reading book 4. This is the best series I've read in a long time I can't get enough of Jennifer and Blake. I can't wait for the wedding and I hope they get the wedding they want not the one Blake mom wants. And his ex Kat is psycho like really psycho a stalker she is causing a lot of problems and I know she's going to cause way more. I can't wait to see what happens next. You will not be disappointed if you read this book but you have to read 1-2-and 3 to know what's going on in this book. I read it in one day I couldn't put it down.

I was excited to read this book after the first three books. I absolutely could not stand anyone that was involved with the wedding planning. She needs to just move on and understand that he is not going to ever marry her daughter. Ugh I could not get over how rude and bossy they were. I did like the trust that we see more and more between Blake and Jennifer. My biggest issue with this book is that I feel as though they could have just had one larger book for the wedding story instead of splitting it off into two. I jumped right into the fifth book and then it becomes hard to remember what happened in which book of this series.

It's been a while since I read the initial That Man trilogy, but I remembered them being humorous and steamy, two of my hot buttons. So it was great to pick up book four and dive straight back into Blake Burns and Jennifer McCoy's story. Now a couple, they have a wedding to plan, but when Blake's mother and wedding planner take over, it starts snowballing into something so far from Jen's dream. Throw in crazy Kitty Kat, Blake's obsessed ex-girlfriend, and you just know she's going to shake things up and try and split up the happy couple. This was a 3.75 star read for me - as usual it's lighthearted and nicely paced with detail, but the constant repetition of how big Blake's cock was, like we hadn't already got it in books 1 -3, was a little tedious. And they didn't feel much like the Blake and Jen that the original trilogy ended with - Both have completely lost their backbones! Jen had become vocal and feisty with a take-no-nonsense attitude, but in this she wasn't standing up for herself and saying "Hey, my wedding, I get a say in the matter" and Blake, wasn't doing the same for his fiancé. Plus he's hiding the truth about him and Kat - which I'm assuming will be revealed in book five - so this made me lose a bit of respect for the alpha I'd grown to love. Nelle's humour and writing style saved this for me, and whilst I had niggles, I'm still diving into the finale to see how it all plays out.

ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.

I have been a fan of this series from the first book and this installment in the series is just as well-written as the first three. There are a few laugh out loud moments, but for the most part, this book is more emotional. Not in a bad way, but it's easy to feel the apprehension and anxiety that Jennifer is experiencing, both with the success of the television show for the network, in addition to the wedding planning, that apparently she has no say in. It doesn't help when there are not one, but two ex-significant others who are trying to stage a comeback.

But for me, the biggest surprise in this book is how much Blake has matured since the beginning of the series. I'm not going to spoil anything, but I found it refreshing how he handled a couple of different situations. And hooray for Chaz for not bowing down to the wedding planner about the dress.

Now this book does end on a cliffhanger, and I cannot wait to see how this will all play out.

Tracy Gravers' review

Man is one of the best series I have read in a long time. Nelle L'Amour is outstanding with the twists and turns and the storyline is so unpredictable which is what I love most. That Man 4 was so good I could not put it down till I was done, and cannot wait to That Man 5. I guarantee you will love it.. I don't write spoilers and you can find out basically what the story is about by clicking on the book, but what I love is That Man's gramma. She reminds me of myself lol,,,, You cannot read one chapter and put it down, it holds you from page one to the last page. Nelle deserves to be a New York Times best seller and you'll see why when you read these books... Great job Nelle,,,,, you got me again! Will be waiting on pins and needles for That Man 5. You will love that man, you will hate that man, (the man in the story to be clear ) but you will love reading THAT MAN . I PROMISE.

Blake and Jen have set a date for the wedding, but what they would like to be an intimate wedding is quickly taken out of their hands by Blake's mother and handed off to a wedding planner who is ready to make this the event of the century. The daughter of the wedding planner who is "assisting" with the event is a delusional ex of Blake's who is trying desperately to ruin their relationship and get Blake back.

This book was a pleasant surprise as I thought the series was over. I'm glad to be able to spend more time with Blake and Jen, but now I'm left in suspense waiting for the real conclusion of the series. Jen and Blake still have intense chemistry and their relationship is doing great. They have a pretty great support system, but it is tough to watch certain crazy people work so hard to ruin them. And now I must wait for the next book to come out...

Everything is finally lining up for Jennifer; she has that man, a great job, and a wedding on its way. When they finally pick a date everything begins crashing down. The wedding planner is a nightmare and the wedding planners daughter is one of Blakes ex flings. She can't help the doubt that fills her mind, especially when she barely had time to talk to Blake.

Blake has everything he never knew he wanted and he is never letting it go. He needs Jennifer and wants her with him always, but Kat wants Blake and is willing to play dirty and spill secrets to make sure he never ends up with Jennifer.

This book was the most intense book in the series. Things are heating up and the stakes are high, both our main characters are playing to win but things keep getting in the way. I think this really embodies the struggles of marriage and how much work it takes. This is the book where you really see how deep Blakes feelings for Jennifer are, and you just fall in love with him all over again.

Thank you Nelle for the ARC!
What can I say, without spoiling the read for the others.
The EPIC wedding of century. What is Blake really hiding? What will be Jen's reaction be when Blake really tells her? Will they get married on December 20, with all these curve balls getting in the way. Let me begin with this, when I got the ARC yesterday, I couldn't begin reading until after work 5pm. I couldn't put it down. Sadly to say no work got done today because I HAD to continue reading. I've waited for That man book 4 and it was worth it. Can't wait for book 5 to see the OUTCOME! Nelle my dear you out did yourself again.
Maria.. So much more I want to say but I'm afraid of spoiling it for the others.

"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."

I loved the first three books and gave them all rave reviews - but somehow this didn't quite hit the mark. I still want to know what happens next, without a doubt, but the writing just wasn't as smooth. After everything they had been through, it seemed like Blake regressed about 10 years, and had lost his backbone. Jen's chatter was somehow less slick. Hopefully the final book will bring it all back together again.

so Kitty Kat and DickWick come back... and I still totally hate them.. this is the wedding planning for the wedding of the century ... and I am not that into it. Don't get me wrong the writing is fine but again I feel like its being forced into the second book. We get a little cliffhanger at the end which is why I own book 5 already :P

Someone gets divorced
Someone is bleeding
Someone has a secret
Someone lives under the sea...

and someone just ran a red-light... rumor has it.. Book 5 will give me answers

good story; the way the last few pages were like the author just threw it in there to make it more suspenseful for the reader but, yeah it was like she was so into the story then remembered it was supposed to end shortly, so she axed it and put in a "suspenseful" ending; but good story all in all though, it again made my stomach roll. I mean HELLO? THEIR WEDDING = Bride should be the main focal point, and NOT THE FORKING THEME)

Readers have definitely heard about bridezilla, but what do you call an over the top future mother-in-law and an outlandish set of wedding planners who seem to have ulterior motives besides making Blake and Jen’s wedding the event of the year? I call it a recipe for disaster but also a great way to see how Blake and Jen handle the pressure of making their hectic lives work amidst the glitz and make believe of Hollywood where no one is truly who they seem to be and secrets and hidden truths have a way of coming out in the worse possible way regardless of the best of intentions or lack thereof for full disclosure.

Boy did I miss Blake’s filthy mouth and bedroom prowess! He’s back and even sexier, but the best part is that he is completely invested in his relationship with his tiger and ready to take their relationship to the next level – a place at the start of the That Man series he nor readers ever expected him to be. But when you’ve lived a life like Blake, nothing can ever run smoothly and there’s a certain underhanded feline, looking to get her claws back into Blake and send Jen packing. And despite how solid Blake and Jen’s relationship is, when you throw the craziness of planning a wedding where your decisions don’t matter on top of an insane programming schedule due to deadlines and commitments, doubt has a way of festering into the strongest of bonds, especially when time together is limited.

That Man 4, the first part of Blake and Jen’s wedding holds true to Nelle L’Amour’s writing style of zinging one liners, alpha male hotness, steamy scenes, and devious bitches looking to make trouble for the hero and heroine. Nelle has illustrated Blake’s transformation throughout the series extremely well; readers have witnessed him go from manwhore with no emotional investment to a man in love ready to devote his life to the woman of his dreams. It definitely hasn’t been an easy process, and yes, he’s fucked up along the way, but that’s what makes Blake even more endearing; he knows he’s not perfect, regardless of how pompous he is or how “perfect” he claims to be, but he wants to be a better man for his tiger and he’s well on his way. Do I wish he had Jen’s back a bit more in this installment in regards to his mother and the wedding planner from hell, of course, but come on, it’s his mom, and she’s been this way since forever. I don’t know too many men who could hold their ground with her. Jen’s an emotional mess in part 4, and I can’t blame her. She’s overwhelmed; her voice is not being heard, and it’s her gosh darn wedding. I so wanted her to tell off the wedding planners and elope, but she also doesn’t want to disappoint her parents or Blake’s. She has a lot on her plate, which is only compounded by her fears and insecurities.

In true Nelle L’Amour fashion, readers are left with a doozy of a cliffhanger, and while I was thrown for a loop and left with my mouth wide open, I have no doubts that Blake and his alpha attitude will take back control and give his tiger her happy ending regardless of what he has to risk or what it costs him to do so.

I can’t wait for That Man 5!

Blake Burns how I’ve missed your witty charm and overpowering arrogance. I didn’teven know how much until I read That Man 4. Blake and Jennifer serve a whirlwind of emotion in this installment. I was happy to get to spend time with some of the other characters I fell in love with in the previous books. Blake’s sex appeal is off the charts in this one, and all because of Jennifer. These two make being in love easy, but the hurdles they have to cross are a plenty. Nelle certainly gives you a story worth talking about with That man 4.

Last we saw Blake and Jennifer. They were headed into the sunset, and finally getting a happily ever after. In book four of the That Man series, we find Blake and Jennifer happy, in love, and ready to take the matrimonial plunge. They are both excited to start the next chapter of their lives as Mr. and Mrs. Blake Burns. They finally set a date. They couldn’t be happier, until outside influences threaten to destroy the wedding of their dreams. Blake’s overbearing Mother, an ex-lover or two, and maybe even a secret or two. The wedding of their dreams quickly turns into the wedding of the century. Jennifer and Blake’s small and simple wedding seem to be a thing of the past. Will Blake and Jennifer make it to the altar before everything blows up into smoke? Will these two finally get the happily ever after they have patiently been waiting for?

Blake and Jennifer have been perfectly matched from the beginning. She challenges Blake’s insecurities, and he gives her the love and affection that she deserves. It would be so easy of them to hop on a plane to Vegas and tie the knot. Unfortunately, Jennifer and Blake couldn’t do that to each of their parents. No matter the struggle the result will be the forever they have been dreaming of.

I can’t help but feel for Jennifer during this whole wedding ordeal. This is a true test of what love can overcome. I was very happy to see that these two haven’t changed one bit since meeting. Both exhibit loyalty, love, and joy. A couple that easily will keep a smile on your face.

I highly recommend That Man 4. You won’t want to put it down, and when you get to the end of the first part of this wedding story, you will want more. I can’t wait to see what happens next for them.

5 Stars!

This is a new author to me and let mete tell you, I will be reading more books by her in the future! I am really digging serial series right now. Something about how they build up suspense to an epic finale gets my blood pumping. And this series fit that bill.

This is the fourth book in a brand new erotic series that is sure to light a fire. This book was sweet, sexy, suspenseful, and highly entertaining. The banter was funny! The chemistry was sizzling. This book pulled all emotions out of me and left me wanting more.

This is the first part of the dream wedding for Blake and Jennifer. Blake and Jennifer are engaged. Jennifer's attacker from the past and present is gone so they can finally move on. Jennifer's vision for her new line is finally in production. Everything seems to be going well. When they announce a date to their parents, it goes from the wedding of her dreams to the wedding of her nightmares. And Blake's past is coming back to haunt them, threatening to tear them apart. At the end of the day, they love each other and just want to get married. Will it be possible or is their happy ending being threatened to end for good?

I loved Blake! YUM! Right from the beginning, he captivated me. Yes he was a typical playboy with plastic girls on his arms but once he realized his feelings, he became totally devoted. And between the sheets, the man was a naughty beast. And Jennifer, I really liked her. She irked me at times when she would jump to conclusions only to realize it later. Together, these two made sense. They completed each other and over time became best friends which is a favorite quality of mine. I was rooting for these two even through the tough times.

I highly recommend this series!

Yep! THAT MAN!!! Blake is going to be my perdition. But isn't he gorgeous? And, yes, he knows he can charm the pants off any woman. It is a good thing that Jennifer loves him so dearly. But his past keeps raising its ugly head and he has not come clean, so to speak, with Jennifer. His ex is always sticking herself in the middle, and I wish Jennifer were not such a lady would just deck her once and for all.

This wedding is doomed! Jewish Mom taking over all preparations for her ONLY son's wedding (her daughter eloped so no use talking about that). The wedding planner from hell... and she is the mother of Blake's ex as well as Blake's mom's BFF. You get where we are going here? I would have been eloping by now based on all the problems Jennifer is dealing with.

Nelle L'Amour has a unique writing style... she can make you laugh and cry at the same time describing the ins and outs of this wedding from hell. She knows just how these characters behave and has defined them so well, you would think these are people you know personally.

I am waiting impatiently for December and the last installment of this delightful series. I am taking bets! I say NO WAY is Jennifer wearing that hideous wedding dress. NO WAY! Girl, grow some and tell them this is your day and at least the dress must be of your choosing!

This story is the continuation of Blake and Jennifer's story. Now if you haven't read this series don't read this review because it will contain a spoiler or not. So I suggest that you read up on the first 3 books. This story is also not for those who are more conservative as far as reading about sex. I on the other hand don't mind it one bit lol.

Nelle has absolutely brought the steam factor up a notch with this one(the motel scene is my favorite btw)

With that being said there is plenty of humor to round out this steamy read. Blake's grandmother is a randy old lady lol. She's awesome. With humor there is also some drama and that drama's name is Kat. She is seriously psycho(she's someone from Blakes past) and her mother Enid. What better way to up the drama factor than to have Enid and Kitty Kat as Jennifer calls her to plan your wedding(not by Jen's choice). I love Chaz he tells it like it is and will go toe to toe for Jen and defend her when Enid and Kat tend to overwhelm and stress Jen out. Chaz's twin sister Libby, she is the problem solver of the two and both are Jen's best friends. I love the fact that she both have a sister/brother duo as her best friends.

Now let's get to the ending. I didn't know if I wanted to cry or keep swiping my kindle wishing that there was more. What a way to leave me in suspense.

All in all That Man 4 is a good afternoon getaway or a early evening party starter with your other half if you know what I mean*waggles eyebrows*

There is a cliffhanger at the end of this book, But fear not for That Man 5 will be released next month.

That Man 4 (and a bag of chips with a whole lot of sexiness

I love Nelle and her style of writing (yes she's an amazing writer), I love the bluntness of it. She uses the word pussy and cock! And as a woman I love reading that rawness! But most importantly she also share the work of other authors in her books (I salute you always)

However I feel conflicted about this installment. To me (yes people this is my opinion) the book was an ok read, yes I was looking for the happy ever after quickly but to my shocking surprise that wasn't the case (sarcasm implied) Don't get me wrong the dialogue was great, the sex was off the chain but when you read you realize it's she's getting fucked into submission so she don't question certain things...blahhhh. I feared this book was gonna become a cliche, sighh...and throughout reading it that's exactly what I see it as.

A son that won't stand up to this mom (Blake), a fiance that had to play nice to suit everyone needs but her own (Jen), secrets (Blake and Jen), jealous/stalker/oh-I've-made-a-mistake-and-I-want-you-back/he-still-wants-me-SO-IN-DENIAl exes! I hate when a book become predictable while reading it. it takes always something for the reader (me in this case)

Chaz I fucking love you! you rock that dress fitting scene.

Mhm Libby hunnie; what's going on?! I'm still rooting for happy-ever-after. Give Jen some hope love!

I must say I love the grandmother more and more each book! I feel as if she's gonna be the one to save Jen's and Blake's relationship. Bubbie I love you and all that jazz! I enjoyed seeing Jaime being mentioned and the Amazon goddess herself Gloria as well (hey what happen to 2.5)

I still look forward to the last installment until ... #OneLove
