Tomoko NINOMIYA (Japanese name: 二宮 知子) is a Japanese manga artist. In 1989, she made her debut with London Doubt Boys. She is best known for her series Nodame Cantabile, which received the 2004 Kodansha Manga Award for shōjo manga. Nodame Cantabile has been adapted for television as both live-action drama series and 3 anime seasons.

Chiaki había solicitado a Nodame que tocara la celesta en su concierto debut con la orquesta Roux-Marlet, pero no todo será tan fácil como parece.

Luego es hora para Nodame y los chicos de rendir sus exámenes en el conservatorio, por lo que Nodame estudiará y practicará de manera exhaustiva para hacer un buen trabajo en sus presentaciones.

Chiaki became the resident conductor of the orchestra Roux-Marlet, but it had a problem, and a skill was law. Chiaki decided to start from here while despairing.
And Nodame got tres bien in examination and will open the recital. I’m looking forward to the next winding!

Chiaki is finally loosing up a bit, and he is not the cold-grumpy-bastard he was at the beginning. He even confessed Nodame is his girlfriend!

We have loads of scenes of Nodame playing the piano here. Which is always cool.

How Japanese eat their Soba... this is very interesting. They have to make noise when eating noodles; they have to leave their noodles hanging down. I watched it on a TV show once, and then I tried to eat it like them (it was hard). Paul couldn't do it, because he is french. I love to learn this little fact about Japanese culture.

This is only the beginning for Chiaki´s career with this new orchestra. Yeah, the performance wasn't perfect, but I think it was fair enough because of all the disadvantages: not enough time to prepare, a foolish manager, a stubborn and overcontrolling concert master, changes of last minutes, etc, etc.

Nodame sensed the failure, so that's why she allowed Rui to play the celesta. However, I hope she could also understand, even a little, that Rui also has her own problems and in some way both are similar (too bad that she didn't know that Rui listened her piano and it made her chilled because it has what she lacks).

Also I liked the pieces played for the exams, I listened to them in YouTube while I was reading certain parts of the story where they are played in the manga. The surprise is that Nodame already has plans for her summer vacations, where obviously, Chiaki will go with her.

I watched the series(live action) and got some of the translated manga as a gift. I loved the show and the manga is just a more fleshed out version of it. Reading the manga is like watching the extended version of the show. I wish that the manga came with cds so you could listen to the music that they played in the book.

There is a manga, anime, and live action series of Nodame Cantabile. I have yet to see the anime but recommend any version for music lovers. This is not a kids cartoon. It has a rating of OT which means it is for ages 16 and up. This rating is equivalent to rated R.

Nodame hovers right on the cusp of 4 and 5 stars, so i've given this one 5 stars to even it out a little. this is still not new content, although the anime omitted the matsuda appearance (which i loved) so i will probably find the story crackier once we're past the recital. i will also say it's nice to see chiaki embracing his weirdo destiny.

In some ways, not too much happens in this volume, but it sets up the story for Nodame's infamous Mozart recital in the next volume, which I'm very excited about! Fun and enjoyable, I can't wait to see what Chiaki and Nodame get up to next!
