4 what a twisted web we weep stars
“Do you have any idea how much and how far I’ve fallen for you?”

Holy Hell, I am trying to wrap my head at how we got from the beginning to here... I guess let me first say I started this series off because I wanted to read about sex, and lots of it, no making love, just two people finding absolute pleasure with each others bodies. It definitely started off that way, but then the webs of the lives of these two strangers were much more intertwined than I or they could ever imagine. Is it a bad thing? no not at all, I think it just threw me for a loop because it was different from what I was expecting. I always wondered from the start where we were going with the back story and now I know and it was interestingly done in a way that gave me what I need to connect the dots later on.

Candace and Brisban's story is told over three volumes, and this is the final piece to their story. From the beginning they had an intensity, a fire that burned with passion so strong, they dove right in and got to know the basic elements of each other. Their interactions are not conventional in any way, where you can say they have no clue as to who they really are. Definitely doing things backwards, insta lust turning into insta love. One thing is for sure, Brisbane is the man who made this book for me, he had a hint of dominance in him, but at the same time a sense of vulnerability and a whole lotta romance. I'm happy for their ending and glad I took a chance on the story even if I had different intentions going in.

** 3,5 "too predictable but sweet" STARS **

As I fold the last load of laundry I smile, thinking how amazing it would be to fold his shirts and wash our sheets after being wrapped up in them together.

I've definitely lost my mind.

I'm sitting here fantasizing over his dirty clothes and sheets.

I'm certifiably nuts.

This series is for people who love the "vanilla".

And I am not one of them, apparently.

I'm guessing all the Dark Erotica I've been reading must have changed my taste in a weird way.

And I'm sooo okay with this reality.

If you like stories that are sometimes sweet and sometimes incredibly sad, but ALWAYS TAME...then this one is perfect for you.

For me...well, I've predicted every damn thing about what's going on about the so-called cliffhangers, which bothered the sh*t out of me.

I mean, come on, not even a little surprise for poor ol' Eda?

The characters were lovely, especially Candace (aka the female MC. Yes guys, I liked her. That ACTUALLY happened. I'm shocked as well...) but...

Brisban's extreme levels of romanticism and incredibly fast pace at falling in love considering his not-so-full-of-joy past made him very unrealistic and turned him into a Disney-kind-of-Prince in my eyes.

I'm sure most people would swoon HARD for him.

I didn't though.

Thus the 3 stars.

A great end to a most unexpected, entertaining story.

I've not given anything away, because that wouldn't be fair, but take it from me, expect the unexpected. There's more to this story than Sex Unlimited, which is what drew me to it in the first place. But I was left feeling I was given more..mystery, intrigue, and the acoustic version of Latch. Perfick!

Four Lovingly & Sweet Stars for Brisban & Candace

This was a great conclusion to Brisban & Candace's story. It was a little different than the first two serials showing a more sensitive side to Brisban and Candace as well as the more seriousness of the situations they each faced. <---see what I did there?

Even though it was a little predictable it was still very enjoyable and what I would consider to be a happily ever after for them. There is not much I can say without giving the story away since it is a serial, but believe me, you will want to continue their story after you read the first two volumes to find out what lies ahead for Brisban, Candace as well as their exes, Dawn and James.

What does the future hold for all of them.

You do need to read these in order and you can purchase them separately or as a complete set.

A great series that I most definitely recommend.

I loved this series and look forward to Janette getting a series of her own.

Candace has found out the the man she has been sleeping with is the ex-husband of the author for whom she edits books for. She has read part of their story in the book she is currently editing and has put the pieces together when she finds the watch and puzzle pieces.

Imagine the shock on Dawn's face when she comes to tell Brisbane that the police may have located the body of their daughter, only to find Candace there with Brisbane. He's confused as to how the two of them know each other, then Candace explains how she's been editing Dawn's books, and when she found the watch and puzzle piece things fell into place, and that's why she was so upset.

Candace leaves and calls her BFF, Janette to fill her in on what's been happening. Janette asks Candace if she loves Brisbane, and if so to follow her heart and things will work out.

Meanwhile, Brisbane and Danielle are trying to work through their issues, she still loves him, and he apologizes for shutting her out through the whole ordeal of their daughters disappearance. He tells her, "I can't be the man you fell in love with or the man you married. I'll always love you."

Brisbane wants to be with Candace, he heads over to try to explain things and make them right. Meanwhile, Candace is not feeling well, yet she's happy to see him. He tells her a lot has happened with them in a short amount of time, he's made mistakes and he's in love with her!

Candace has always thought she couldn't get pregnant, and after getting into an accident and ending up at the hospital, she finds out through a miracle she is. At first she's afraid to tell Brisbane, as he has mentioned that because of what happened with his daughter Willow, he didn't want any more children, as he felt he failed her as he wasn't able to protect her from what happened. His love for Candace and their unborn child had made Brisbane more of a romantic than he already was. The enjoy their time getting to know their "favorite things".

In the end, Candace and Brisbane get their happy ending and both James and Danielle finally accept the fact that although neither will get their spouses back, they will always have love for them in their heart and are happy for Candace and Brisbane.

I must say, I am not usually a fan of serials. I did enjoy that I got all 3 books of this series at once. I am so glad that I did, cause this was a GREAT story. This is a story about Candace, who has just gone through a rough divorce. Her husband has left her after 15 years of marriage. Now she must go one and live again.

A year after her divorce, she puts an ad up on Sex Unlimited. Candace is not looking for anything serious and is not even sure what she is doing. She hasn't had sex in a long time, and isn't really even sure how to have a one night stand. It seems like right away she gets a response. This response is going to change her whole life and she doesn't even know it.

Dear Candace,

I’m sure you're getting flooded with messages, but I wanted to attempt to stand out among the rest and just get right to the point. I won’t attempt to woo you in a message. I won’t try to impress you with boastful words. If you're here for mind-blowing sex, and a lot of it, then I would venture to say that trying to impress you with well worded niceties is of no value. Instead, I will tell you what I’m looking for and if you are looking for something similar then I look forward to your reply.
I like to fuck hard. I like to fuck slowly. I also enjoy making love. I like to be pleasured. I love to give pleasure. I like to laugh. I like to make others laugh. I love the female body and testing its limits. I want a lover who will explore new things without shame or embarrassment. I want to make a woman come so hard and in so many ways that her body designs its own special language just for mine.

I look forward to possibly learning what you like, too.

Regards,
Brisban C.

How can Candace not instantly respond? I mean Brisban sounds like a sex dream come to life.

Oh Brisban, how I love you!! He is a strong and sexy down to business type of guy. What starts off as just sex, leads to so much more. Neither of them seem to know what to make of this crazy relationship. Things start off hot and heavy and lead to deep and meaningful quickly for the couple.

What does falling in love really feel like? I loved James. I’m certain I did. Maybe love can never be duplicated. Maybe love can reincarnate itself in a person’s life more than once. What if one love never resembles another but still contains the one ingredient that tells us all we love someone; the desire to put them first and make them happy, in turn giving you your own sense of happiness.

Heroine :: Candace Greene
Hero :: Brisban Dexter Caloway

An erotic romance. Two divorcee, caught up with each other past while fallen in love one another. Romantic. Poetic. Tragic. Swooning. A book boyfriend with non annoying heroine.

Two very different story in a book. Its a treat! Basically show us that love is possible not only happened once in our life. And it is completely normal to love more than one person in a time, because love comes with different forms.

Everything poeticly described. The lost and grieve as well as the affection and love. For such a novella with rather hideous title, this series sure one with a considerable quality. Both in the storyline side and literature side. From book to book, my enjoyment amd excitement only heighten. Very different from the nowadays novella series that only cares about sale rather than book quality. Even if it is only a novella, it also has the same chance to deliver so much quality like full length novel. This one definitely rocks!

Ofcourse, i predict that twist.

Holy heaven.. swooning here! Brisban!

" You’ve wrecked me and I’ve loved every second of it.”

The getting to know u games.. brilliant idea.

“Lots of people have more than one love in their lives. You had James and I had Dawn, but you Candace…you’re my only home. You’re my best friend, my confidant, my partner, and my forever love. The way I love you has no end. When I breathe my last breaths on this earth you and our family will be the only love I take with me.”

I dont know if it is the last book, it has an epilogue on it. But i see the sex unlimited #4 on GR.

4.5 Fantastic Stars!

Review by Allison East

FINALLY!!!! I am so glad I got to review the conclusion of this steamy angst filled story by Kathryn Perez. What I have learned is that Kathryn can pretty much write anything and it is awesome. And this series is no exception. I love love love Candace and Brisban and their entire story!

Going forward- you should probably read volumes one and two before you read this review!

There are some crazy revelations in this installment. Some involve Candace and Brisban and Dawn and my jaw fell on the floor!

Something crazy happens between Brisban and Dawn that lead to their subsequent split and divorce and it is heartbreaking. Candace wonders how she can even fit in the picture. But oh how I love Brisban!

"A person without hope is perpetually lost. Hope is a gift and it fires the desire for more in life. You've done that for me and there will never be enough words for me to tell you how grateful I am to have found you."

Candace leaves and goes home to hang out with Janette, whom I love and I really hope she gets a story too! She is lascivious and hilarious- and she is overall the makings of a great heroine.

"Yeah, you were. I love you but you were a boring mother f***** until Mr. P****-Eating-Like-a-Boss-Hot-as-Hell, Sex-on-a-Stick came into your life."

Brisban wants to be with Candace, and is certain he is going to make things right with her. They enjoy their time together and get to know their "favorite things" about each other, which is so sweet- loved this part.

"You've wrecked me and I've loved every second of it."

This is the conclusion, and there is a HEA, which I was SO excited about. I loved being tortured waiting for volume three to release! One click this- and make sure you read all the volumes in a row, so you can get that HEA that you crave!!

I would give this 10 hot kisses if it would allow me. I haven't read a lot lately and had volume one on my kindle for months now. On a whim I picked it and feel like I was very lucky to read this book to completion. Brisban is a womans wet dream in every way. I cried right with him in this book. My eyes are still watering with the pain this man suffered and the bond that has grown between him and Candace in the most unexpected way just makes my heart swell, it's incredible IMO.

Let me quote you his words to Candace when he is fearful of her leaving. "Yesterday was the second hardest day of my life and, because of you, I'm not a crumbled, broken man today. Because of you I've lived my days since we met with a sense of purpose. You provided me with a rope and day to day I've climbed out of a place I never want to be again." Sigh

I finished this book and am now sad that I won't get to spend more time with them but I am hoping maybe Janette will bring them back into my life with her story. A wicked woman like her deserves to meet her match, with me watching (hint! hint!). This book is the most emotional of the three. I also would have loved to see this book set nominated for best book of 2015. I read Grey and I love the story but I liked the original better than told by Christain so I have to say this one beat that one out. While this story is told from Candaces POV, Brisban is an open book and tells it like it is so there is no doubt of his POV. The sex just keeps getting hotter so at least with this series being done I won't be jumping in my shower quite as often, although I am going to look into other books by this author so you never know Brisban might have a cousin just waiting for my descovery. Enjoy!

Please note that this is a comprehensive review for all three Sex Unlimited serials but does not contain spoilers.

After a long bout of disappointing serials/novellas, I have been lucky enough to find several great authors who are able to bring their normal creativity and character development into what has previously been a bland and unsatisfying genre for me.

Kathryn's Sex Unlimited serial is one of the best I've read. Yes, they are short individually but if you read them all back to back you wind up with a great, sexy story.

The title may lead you to believe that this series is all about sex and straight erotica. And while there are definitely several steamy scenes, there is also a very emotional storyline here as well.

Brisban and Candace seek each out as a way to satisfy their loneliness and sexual needs. No string attached. But they quickly realize sex won't be enough. Unfortunately, they both have demons from their pasts which may break any chance they have a real relationship.

Through the three serials, their sexual beginning and attempts at 'more' are written about in a way that will make you sweat (from the hot sex scenes), chuckle (one of the side characters is hilarious) and even tear up a bit.

The character and story development aren't as in depth as they would be for a full length novel but there is enough there to be more than satisfying. It really is about so much more than sex. Ultimately, we have two adults (age 36 and 41) trying to find their way in the world after life has handed them disappointment and tragedy.

Highly recommended! This is a quick and light read and you'll definitely fall for Brisban.

This review is for the complete volume.

WOW! Sex Unlimited blew my mind. Normally I am not a fan of novella series. I actually despise them and avoid them like the plague, but this book changed my mind. Sex Unlimited kept my mind and body aroused just enough to crave the next book.

Going into this series I thought I was reading a hot steamy novella series that would make me want to have tons of random sex. Not the case. This book became so much more.

This book follows two different individuals brought together for unlimited, no strings attached sex.

Candace was lied to, cheated on and now a year after her husband left her she is ready to move on. So how do you get over a broken heart? With sex of course. On a whim she enlists in the help of the internet, and joins a sex only dating site. She wasn’t expecting much, and didn’t even plan on going through with it.

Brisban is a smooth talking man who knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to go after it. He doesn’t play games and knows his way around the bedroom.

Why random sex?

Candace and Brisban are both battling with their individual fears and anxieties. They are using sex as a means to fulfill their sexual desires, as well as to provide companionship. They both want affection, love and everything in between but don’t think they are worthy.

This book was way more than I ever thought it was going to be. It was hot and steamy, but it was also emotionally touching. I loved this series and would recommend it.

WOW! What a phenomenal series! It has everything in it; hot sex, love, and heartbreak and more hot sex and maybe some more love...

The first part of this book was heartbreaking and some of you may need to grab those tissues. I didn't see that coming and it was emotional to read but I made it through. Thank God!

Once again just a few quotes to entice you....

"I feel like if you walk out the door right now that I'm losing you forever. I don't know why, but that's what this feels like. And I'm not losing you when I've only just found you." -Brisban

"No, Danielle, you didn't ruin us. Pain just changed us. That's what pain does. It changes who we are; sometimes in good ways and sometimes not. Regardless, we are different now. I know I am, anyway. I can't be the man you fell in love with or the man you married. I'll always love you." - Brisban

"I've asked myself so many times how I could've fixed it. The fact is one person can never fix a broken relationship. It takes both." - Candace

"You've given my hope again. A person without hope is perpetually lost. Hope is a gift and it fires the desires for more in life." -Brisban

I'll leave you with these quotes and hope you pick up this series because I am 100% sure you will love it as much as I did!!!!

Go on....get your #oneclick on!

This is volume 3 and the final installment in this serial.

SU3 picks up right where SU2 ended. Candace has just realized that Brisban is the ex-husband to her her client Dawn, whose book she is currently editing. She feels guilt and embarrassment at knowing all of intimate details of his marriage and what he has suffered with losing his daughter. But she also feels devastated knowing she's going to lose the man she has come to care for.

Brisban has fallen in love with Candace and as far as he's concerned, nothing should keep them from being together. Not even his ex Dawn or Candace's ex James, who both have suddenly appeared in their lives again. He's been living in a dark hole for the last couple years and because of Candace has finally seen light. He has no intention on losing her.

The heated scenes were less frequent in this one, but heads up for a really sweet little twist that happens.

This was a nice conclusion to this story. I adored Brisban. He is genuinely a wonderful man. Candace was a really great leading lady and both deserve happiness. My favorite person in this series has been Candace's best friend, Janette. She was always funny and knew just what to say to straighten out Candace and her second thoughts.

I AM NOT GOING TO SPOIL ANYTHING!!! NOPE! My lips are sealed you will get nothing out of me that will ruin this wonderful heartfelt story. This is the perfect conclusion to the SU series. I love everything that K. Perez writes and this is no exception. SU3 will have you weepy, conflicted, ecstatic and hopelessly in love from start to finish. I didn't want the story of Brisban and Candace to end. I don't know how K Perez does it, but she does it well. She can pull out these emotions from her readers like no one else can no matter how long or short a story. Her way with words is both inspiring, compassionate, romantic and simply beautiful. AND lets not forget sexy, yes this book still has all those spicy nuggets of sexiness that made the story of Brisban and Candace so hot that you had to come up for air and a cold shower ;). Perfect book, perfect ending, loved every minute of reading it!

4-4.5 stars. The last one left a big cliffhanger and up until that point, Candace and Brisban were heating up the sheets while the emotions were just beginning to spill over. This time, the emotions are everywhere and there was a more in-depth look at Brisban and the real man inside. Brisban comes off so suave and unfettered when in fact, he has a deep soul of sensitivity inside based on events and tragedy in his life. Candace and he are beginning to realize the level of mutual feelings they have for one another. Based on everything up until this point, including both of their pasts and previous marriages and what they have found with each other, the question is can they move forward and have a future together? That's probably one of the best part of this series, is how mature Brisban and Candace are. Their experiences have taught them the difference between love and being in love and fighting for happiness, even when it's unexpected. Great conclusion.

I enjoyed the conclusion to Candace and Brisban's story. This book was about hope...hope for not only Candace and Brisban but Dawn as well, Brisban's ex-wife and the author that Candace worked for. Despite all the hard truths and circumstances, Candace and Brisban's love and feelings never wavered and I loved what fate had in store for them....hope for the future together.

This serial was very different for Kathryn Perez and I applaud her for taking a chance and writing something different than what she is used to.

While I am not a huge serial fan, they are fun to read in between longer books so I urge those who do love serials, to take a chance on this one. For me, I enjoy a complete read in one sitting so it's hard for me to enjoy serials when I want more. This installment of Sex Unlimited felt a bit rushed to me and I would have liked more within the story but all in all, an enjoyable read.

This picks up right where book two left off. Candace has just had a major realization to Brisban’s past and she is trying to come to grips with it.

“Am I Alice and is this a dark rabbit hole where ex-wives – who are really wives – give booty call girl’s addresses to their not so ex-husband?”

Regardless of everything happening with Brisban’s past, he is unwavering from what he wants with Candace. He wants their relationship and for Candace to know what she has done for him in their short time together.

“You’ve given me hope again. A person without hope is perpetually lost. Hope is a gift and it fires the desires for more in life.”

Through all the bumps in the road for their relationship, this series does have a HEA. I have to say, this is my first time reading anything by Kathryn Perez and now I will be going through all of her books. There was a lot of information in each of the stories and they linked together amazingly. This series gets 4 out of 5 stars for me.

This turned out to be nothing like I thought it was going to be. I was recommended this book by a fellow reader. I'm glad I read it. Don't get me wrong, this is a very sexy hot read. But it's not what you would expect.
This book is about a woman in her late 30's who places and ad on a website to have no-strings attached sex. She ends up receiving a reply from a 40 something year old man. They end up having some out of this world sex! But as you can guess, no-strings attached never really ends up that way.
This turned out to be a very emotional read. I actually cried at the end. It was a sad but good cry.
I really enjoyed this book. It's not a long book, it was about a three hour read for all three parts.

As with the entire Unlimited series...I LOVED it! I couldn't wait to start reading, and when I did, I was right back in Brisban and Candace's lives. I love how Kathryn Perez took a story line that was meant to be purely physical and turned it into SO much more! I love how she gave us story without us realizing that was what she was doing. She is truly a talented author and fun to read! I will continue to read anything she writes!
One click all three volumes of the Unlimited series now!! Don't wait. At $0.99 each, they are a steal. And I promise, you will have the biggest cheesiest smile on your face!! At least I did!

Candace and brisban can they make it?

as we all know from the teaser before this book was released.that brisban and dawn were married, imagine the shock Candace dealt with in this final book.
would love keep them together or will.the past destroy them? I think that the biggest question of all.
brisban is dealing with a lot in this book, as well as. Candace does, they have their ups and downs but what couple doesn't right? they may not have started out with a traditional relationship, but what happens now? ill tell you a secret, head over and one click this book, sit down and emerge yourself and grab those tissues, soon your questions will be asked. enjoy

I enjoyed volume 1 & 2, but felt a bit disappointed with the final chapter. While I love Candace and Brisban and I wanted the HEA for them, too many heavy things occur in a very short amount of time. This is just my opinion - the characters are terrific and and I love Perez' writing. This installment just felt rushed and all over the place to me.

I have to give a shout out to my overall favorite character - Candace's best friend, Janette. Loved every moment she entered the scene!

So, to conclude - the 3 volumes are worth a look, but it might have worked better in one full length novel.

So much more than the title suggested

This title was recommended to me by Amazon based on previous purchases. After reading the blurb, I was intrigued, but the story has been so much better than I could imagine. What started out as somewhat cliche (though well written) turned into a captivating story. The sex was explosive, as the title implied, but it went further. All the elements of this piece worked for me: the characters, storyline, dialogue, and romance. I stayed up until 2AM because I simply couldn't go to sleep until I saw how it all played out. I'll be watching for more by this author.

What an amazing ending to a fantastic series of novellas! I was more than ready to get my hands on this 3rd installment and was very pleased overall with this novella and the whole series.

Kathryn took a huge chance on this series/book and I think it was a fantastic success. Don't let the title fool you by the way....Sex Unlimited isn't a porn based thing ;) Candace and Brisban are now two of my favorite characters overall in a book because of their story. It's heartbreaking, real, and shows two people moving forward in a cautious manner trying to protect themselves from ever falling in love again.

Take a chance on SU, it's worth it!

I'm not sure how Kathryn pulled me into this story so fully with so few pages...but she did! At the end of Volume 2, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I absolutely loved how she pulled it all together and finished it out. I fell in love with Brisban and Candace in Volume 1 but by the end of Volume 3, I felt like I knew them personally. Kathryn has such a way of making you feel the character's emotions and putting you right there in the story with them. I adored this book and look forward to reading anything else Kathryn puts out.

There have been only 2 books that have made me cry, EVER, which include Colleen Hoover's "Ugly Love" and this book..volume 3 of Sex Unlimited. Kathryn Perez is definitely making her way to the top of my favorite author list. Absolutely breath taking series. Kathryn knows the perfect descriptions of emotions, she is talented in the sense of creativity and she never fails to capture every little detail of her writing and never fails to leave anything left unsaid.

This book is much more than just sex, i'll just leave it at that. Never judge a book by its cover never felt so true!

I just love Kathryn's writing! I loved this little series!

Brisbane...wowza! I was so excited to read Volume 3 because I wanted more of him! volume 3 was sexy and hot but there was more to the story in this volume. Kathryn did an amazing job on bringing everything together in a short amount of time. This story had me in tears in the beginning and my heart melting in the end! now I think you should write a huge book all about Brisbane!

4.5 STARS!

"The way I love you has no end"

Perfect Conclusion! I wanted more though, I'm greedy. Leave it to Kathryn Perez to having rolling on the floor laughing, gasping, and then tears. I loved the conclusion to this series. I love Brisban, don't tell anyone but this was kinda like hearts & flowers romance, I DON'T want to ruin my reputation. ;)

I'll read whatever Kathryn puts out!!!!!
