Loved the angst in this
Brilliant, great characters loved heath and the plot.
Manwhore falls for girl who he thinks she is totally out of his league and just when things are going right he royally fucks it up.
Really enjoyed it, the angst,drama,sweetness,sadness and HEA

Crazy Beautiful begins when Harlow and Heath meet. Harlow has just gotten out of a relationship that ended badly, and she's not ready to start another one. Heath I in a bad and used to women falling all over him, but when he sets his sights.on Harlow he's bound and determined to make her his. But Harlow constantly insists on them.being just friends so after forming a beautiful friendship things between them start to grow. But sometimes people end up making mistakes that can cost them a lot.
I really enjoyed this book. The author did a wonderful job bringing out all of the emotions an making us fall in love with the characters. I thought the plot was interesting for the most part. And I really liked the main characters and it ended with an HEA mostly.

The thing I didn't like wasn't really the cheating incident. That I could almost believe. It was the whole back and forth after wards that bothered me. I felt that if these two were so great of friends then they should have understood the other a little better then what they did. So that just frustrated me. I really wanted to smack both of them for being so stupid.
So overall I like the book and I do recommend it. But I probably won't be reading the next after reading the prologue because it just isn't for me.

When you go to bed at night and are thinking of ways a book is going to play out or what could happen to the characters after you’re done with a book, you know you’ve read a good book. This is exactly what happened to me. I finished this book and couldn’t stop thinking of Heath and Harlow, I was coming up with all different things that could happen with these two. I would recommend this book to any of my friends to read, hoping they end up like me ;) sleepless and dying to know what happens next.

So many times I'v e read this troupe. One hopes for originality or something to make it more exciting. Not in this book. It's just a boring book. Misunderstandings. Dont want to be with him, do wnat to be with him. I'm not good enough for her. i'm not good enough. I'll fuck it up. Oops i fucked it up.

Harlow is spending the summer in California. Her ex-boyfriend, Colton cheated with her then ‘best friend’.
Heath sees her with Colton misinterpreting that they’re reconciling, in a moment of pique he cheats with a random woman (Mia) in an aircraft restroom. No admission of guilt or remorse until the Mia reveals the gritty details of their indiscreet romp and he is forced to admit his betrayal. He is a spineless, insecure tool, obsessing about her with her ex, Colton.
Her friend Bridget:::
“I think he made a mistake. He f-d up real bad. But not because he wanted to. I think he overreacted to what he saw. And because of who he is, and how he looks, it’s far easier for him to f… up so badly. You’ve said before, there is always some girl waiting to have her way with him. Unfortunately, this time it worked against him and it made it easier for him to make a mess of things.” She unfurled her legs from under her and leaned forward. “Heath isn’t a bad guy. I actually like him a lot more than I thought I would. I don’t think he’d ever try to hurt you deliberately.”
He repeatedly tries to convince her it was a mistake but her trust has been shattered and she needs space to rebuild her defences.
There were moments of grief after they lost a beloved friend and bandmate that they temporarily reconnected to mourn the loss and heartache.
They finally bid each other farewell as friends and she returns to face her future.
It wasn’t their time to be together, perhaps they needed to grow separately to mature and appreciate the progression of establishing a future together.
Finally he storms her debutante ball and claims her as she admits to her parents that she loves him and wants to be with him.
At the end, Mia stages a reappearance.

I don't usually do rock star romances but this one rocked ME!!! The thing was the storyline - it just held me and made me keep reading to the last word. Harlow and Heath are so different - from totally different backgrounds. She comes from a very well off Southern family and he is a man-whore of a rock star. Harlow knocks him for six when they meet and he can't stay away from her - but she will only accept him as a friend - though she gets more and more involved with him and the band. The thing that got me in this story was the banter between them - I couldn't stop smiling often at the witty and funny chat - then came the baseball game where I just laughed out loud. There came times I was so frustrated at both of them with misunderstandings leading to disaster - I yelled at both of them. There were heartbreaking times in this book which will make you put it down for a short time but you have to pick it up and keep going and get through the hard times and get to the end. I thoroughly loved the book and think this is one of the very best debut books on the market. Will I go forward to the next book?? You better believe it!!! Well done Penny Dee - you brought out all my emotions here.

This book was amazing. I've read other books about rock band's and never had one ever took me on the roller coaster ride that Crazy Beautiful did.
Harlow, left Georgia to get away from her life, being groomed to become a Debutant, breaking up with her boyfriend and losing a best friend, she needed to escape, so she left and joined her cousin in California. Harlow, is mesmerized when she meets Rock singer, womanizer, Playboy and lets not forget sexy as Sin Heath. Heath, looses his mind when he sees her and all things he new and didn't want to know about woman was out the door. Heath fell hard and was willing to give everything of himself to get Harlow and keep her, but where there's a fan or a groupie, someone is always willing to step in to pull you down the rabbit hole. Can this couple survive Crazy Town? Or will the industry tear them apart?

Sexy Heath....even his name makes me shiver...in a good way! Loved the band name!

Awesome! Amazing! Fantastic! That's what Crazy Beautiful is! Seriously, this book is amazeballs!!! I am totally floored this is Penny Dee's debut novel. Her writing absolutely blew me away. I love books about rockstars so after reading the blurb, I knew this one sounded right up my alley. But holy hell what I wasn't expecting was to find a new author to add to my list of favorites. Crazy Beautiful has everything I love in a good book. The writing was flawless, there were times I was laughing, other times when my eyes were tearing up, and most importantly I was feeling the connection between Heath and Harlow. The chemistry these two have is off the charts! I loved the slow build up and tension between them. Heath is a sexy tattooed rocker who has always lived by the love em and leave em policy. Harlow is a southern girl who came to visit her cousin in California after breaking up with her boyfriend. Harlow never expected to be pursued by a rockstar that all the girls flock to like white on rice. Heath never expected to find a girl he could be with for more than one night. So what happens when the unexpected does indeed happen? Can Heath really settle down and be with only one girl? Will Harlow be willing to go against her southern upbringing and give the rocker a chance? Read Crazy Beautiful and find out!!! I promise you will not be disappointed! I would give this book more than 5 stars if I could. Crazy Beautiful is a book I will be thinking about down the road and the characters will stay with me. I can't wait for the next book in this series! Penny Dee is an auto buy for me. I'm on the lookout for the next book from this author and I will read anything she writes! I most definitely recommend this book to not only those who enjoy rocker stories but anyone who is looking for an awesome romance story between two people from totally different worlds who fight for each other. Fantastic debut novel by Penny Dee.

crazy beautiful is right. emotions all over the place. after the epic cheating scene my heart was broken for them both. my head was all over the place for them both. I am the last person to forgive a cheating scene in a book. when that happens,,,I'm pretty much DONE. but penny Dee wrote the aftermath superbly. I was in my mind DON'T FORGIVE HIM.......CAN'T YOU SEE HE LOVES YOU.....HOW COULD HE DO THIS AND BEG YOU FOR A SECOND CHANCE......YOU'RE BREAKING HIM BY NOT FORGIVING HIM......YOU NEED TO GIVE HER SOME SPACE.......WHAT MORE DOES HE NEED TO DO TO MAKE YOU SEE HOW SORRY HE IS.....Do you get what this writer put me through. not many books can do that to me, especially when there is cheating. but the ending was epic rock star steal the show perfecto. only problem is do I want to end their love story here or do I want to get the next book and have to watch this couple go through any more trials. I feel they've earned their happy ever after. the book does end at a good place, so I know book two won't necessarily be crucial for me to read, so I guess I'm on the fence here.

I'm not usually a fan on rockstar books. But this one was a great read! And this was also one of my first book reads by Penny Dee.
Heath & Harlow meet in California where she will be staying for the summer. She was getting away from a heartbreak to only meet Heath the next day.
They started out as friends and then became best friends. Soon thereafter, they became more. Heath had always wanted more from her. He wanted them to be together but she just got out of a heartbreak and wasn't ready. I can't say much without spoiling it but it was a great read.
I cried at the last 20% because I was definitely not expecting that at all. My heart broke for everyone especially Heath. It was so sad. But the two main characters do get their HEA.

It was a good book but there were a few things that I didn't like. I enjoyed reading about Harlow and Heath's story that started as a friendship between the two of them. What I didn't like was the insecurity that Heath felt about himself and his feelings towards Harlow. I couldn't believe that Heath did what he did to Harlow because of his insecurities. I really didn't like how the author left the ending or how the second book is going to be after reading the snippet at the end. She should have just left things the way they ended in the first book and started the second book on a secondary character.

amazing. heath and Harlow's relationship is sweet, playful and hot. it is not an easy road for them. they are thrown a few obstacles that pretty much end them but another event leads them back to each other only to be thrown a curveball with a cliffhanger ending. can't wait for the second book in this series. I am enjoying penny Dee's writing and storytelling. great supporting characters as well.

A pretty good read that keeps the interest all the way through. The only thing that let it down for me was Heath, I loved the character but his flaws were hard to take. The plot had a couple of twists that I wasn't expecting. I'm looking forward to reading the next book after the taster at the end of this book - sounds good.

Crazy Beautiful was a rollercoaster ride from start to finish. Full of angst, tragic loss, and soul searching forgiveness, the story had me turning page after page wanting more. Heath and Harlow have an instant connection but neither of them is prepared for the magnitude of their feelings. Having been hurt before, Harlow doesn’t forgive easily and when Heath makes the biggest mistake of his life it could destroy them for good. It was supposed to just be a summer fling but turns into the greatest love of their lives.

Really enjoyed the story of lead singer in a band and Harlow .He wants her but she just wants friendship .She has been hurt in the past and doesn't want another broken heart .Heath has a fight on his hands .

Loved this one. At times you wanna slap the characters, then hug them. The chemistry is awesome, the story well balanced. A romance for the ages, with a rollercoaster ride to see if they’re going to make it!!

Crazy Beautiful for us was a great read. It’s full of emotion. It’s full of twist and turns. It kept us captivated from beginning to end.
We thank Penny Dee for giving us the opportunity to read Crazy Beautiful. We think she did an amazing job.
A definite 4 star read.

Okay, this is a tough one to write. Because honestly, I think this is one of the first books I've read where I didn't want the couple to have a HEA. It's very hard to explain that opinion without giving away spoilers, so I'm just going to skip them and let you judge for yourself.
In a lot of ways Crazy Beautiful had a bit of a Beautiful Disaster vibe to it. I think fans of Travis and Abby may enjoy this one; it just wasn't for me. I got to the 74% mark and debated on whether I should finish it or not. I pushed through anyway, hoping for something redeeming to happen.
It wasn't a bad story; it just didn't seem to hold my attention. I found a lot of the dialogue and the character's thoughts really repetitive. And I couldn't root for the HEA. ~ Erin, 2 1/2 Stars

The book start out with a good girl falling for a bad boy. They start out as friends and become more. This is something I usually find very sweet, HOWEVER, I quit reading when one of my pet peeves happened - somebody being unfaithful. This ruins the book for me and makes me dislike the hero. I think this outcome is probably more realistic than some of the other music romance books out there, but it is just not for me.
Therefore I haven't read the whole book. I still think many may like it, as long as it is not a deal breaker for you.
