This is part of a Famous Explorers series. It was very interesting reading it to my special needs teenage son. At times it was complex for him but informative for me. These books could be used as sources as reports if a child needed information to write a report on him. It has a few maps, a glossary and some websites lists for more information.

I have so enjoyed the books by Hurwicz. He presents such interesting facts, and I always learn something new.
