I love Lucy and Peter together. This is their special Valentine weekend that has to move from a fancy hotel to a mystery weekend. That sounds like something right up Lucy's alley. But things don't quite turn out the way she expects; do they ever? lol I am one of those many people who have been begging for more time for the two of them. Thanks Rae Davies, it was fun.

Love this series! The only problem with this book was that it was too short. Looking forward to more of Lucy and Kiska's adventures!

"The Murder Game Is Surprising"
This is a fun mystery of amateur sleuth and antique store owner, Lucy Mathews and her Alaskan Malamute, Kiska. She and her detective boyfriend, Peter, are attending a Valentine's Mystery Weekend Retreat. Not all the mysteries to be solved will be fake, and Lucy may again be a suspect in the crime. This is a great entertaining short story I loved. The characters are wonderful. You'll enjoy this short story, too. The best part is you don't have to wait until Valentine's Day to enjoy it!

A romantic weekend - nah!
A fun little story. Her boyfriend has organised a romantic weekend away for St Valentine's what could go wrong? Firstly the owners have made it a murder mystery, secondly she has to dress as a maid and thirdly a man is dead. On top of that there is a bet on which one will solve the murder mystery. Will she be able to do so before more evidence is planted to make her look guilty? A fun, humoured that highlights the growing relationship between our two sleuths.

Super Cute
I was thrilled to see this book, as I devoured the first 5. The plot isn't anything to write home about, but they are cute, easy-to-read mysteries that really pass the time.

March 11, 2015I really enjoy these little novellas, it's great to get a little extra snippet of a story. This was a really fun little tidbit, a little vacation with Lucy and Peter. Can't wait to see what is next for the tow of them!

Good, fun, quick read. This book in the series focuses a bit more on Lucy and Peter's relationship with a touch of a mystery.
