I feel like I need to start off by saying that I really love that this series is full of authors whose books all vary in a range of light and dark themes. I really appreciate that Knot Your Pucking Doll is such a good mix of a lighter story with dark plot themes thrown in. I'm giving it 5 because it was such a good book. It flowed with the rest of the series, had a great plot, and good spice. Not hot and heavy or drawn out. She did seem to skip over any heavy into the grey scenes but painted a clear picture of what was left unsaid.
Noa is such a strong omega, even if she might not always see it. It sucks that she has such a horrible past but it's made her stronger. Thorne, Silas and Havoc are 3 alphas that make up the Grey Pack. They are more guarded and perfectly happy by themselves with their dog Otis. I love that Danielle Doe gives us main male characters that fall hard and for our leading lady, she definitely deserves it. I'd have to say Havoc sounds like such the perfect MMC! 🥰

This is my first read by Danielle Doe and she did NOT disappoint! 👏🏽
Our FMC and lovely Omega, Noa, is a badass. Plain and simple. Our Noa has not had an easy life and the trauma that she carries can only be smooshed away by her scent matches, Thorne, Silas, and Havoc. The Gray Pack.
Silas and Thorne are Hockey players with the Scented Scorpions 🦂 🥅🏒 through “mysterious” ways *cough cough* Marilyn (IYKYK) have their own unique meetings with Noa.
Havoc is an ex-con and thinks that will deter their chances of wooing Noa, but little does he know that he’ll score the first date!
At a fast pace, Noa’s past comes back into her life and nearly ruins her courting with The Gray Pack.
The passion that our MMCs have for Noa show in their tenacious pursuit to keep her safe.
Their passion also shows in other areas too *wink wink* *cough cough*
Spoiler Alert: In Chapter 32, page 226 (Kinde E-book) there is a chapter where Noa explains exactly what and how she feels about each of her Alphas 🥰💋🔥🤌🏼
Boyfriends that are boyfriends. Omega that needs a found family. Thorne, Silas and Havoc are the best trio for Noa. Havoc is my absolute favorite, I need one of him in my life so bad.
Boyfriends who have boyfriends, yes please. Who doesn't love a hockey omegaverse romance with a bit of angst and alphas who would do anything for their omega.
After running from the Pack her parents tried to pair her with, she catches a flight to the farthest state she can afford to get to: Nashville, Tennessee.
Two years later she’s standing on her own two feet, running her crafting business and ready to set roots. She opens a store front right outside the city’s up and coming hockey team, the Scented Scorpions.
Figuring the foot traffic, she’d get would be worth being next to a loud and rowdy arena, she sets up shop and lets the new hockey fans in.
Then a Hockey player stumbles in.
Then another.
Then an ex-convict who also happens to be their pack mate. And that’s not all who comes back into her life. Her ex-pack is hot on her trail and they want their omega back.
Little do they know, Noa Odette isn’t a meek little doll anymore.

Knot Your Pucking Doll is the 8th book in the Knotty Puckers series. This is a multi-author interconnected series. This installment is brought to us by Danielle Doe.
I’ve really been enjoying this series. Knot Your Pucking Doll was such a super sweet story, even though I found there to be this darker undertone to Noa’s past, even though we never get the opportunity to experience Noa’s past for ourselves – we just get this gentle retelling of Noa’s story. Really this story has a beautiful steady pace with a couple of angsty moments, especially when Noa’s ex-pack decides to show up and start causing chaos for her again, this ends up leading us to seeing a beautiful HEA in the end.
Danielle did a stunning job in describing Noa’s store and blankets and the descriptions are just beautiful. My only complaint is that I felt like some of the secondary characters were left with untapped potential. Then there’s the overall timeline; Danielle doesn’t make it clear how long Noa is with her ex-pack. And at the same time, I really would have loved for some of the key conversations to have happened in “real-time”. Danielle set up this book for so much potential, so much emotional intensity, and if she had allowed us to be “in that room” for those big moments, those big conversations, those hard-hitting important moments, I think would have helped me to feel a stronger bond and would have helped me to love these characters more than I already do.
Noa: She is this sweet yet tough Omega, she’s just trying to do her best to live and survive on her own. She had survived after escaping her abusive parents who had sold her to an abusive pack. She really is this badass Omega.
She hasn’t had an easy life between the trauma she has suffered at the hands of her abusive parents, then at the hands of the abusive pack her parents tried to sell her too.
She now sells her handcrafted blankets from her own shop near the Scented Scorpions’ Hockey Arena where she hopes to get customers who are hockey fans who coming and going from the arena.
Silas: He is the charming leader of the Gray Pack. He is also a hockey player with the Scented Scorpions.
Thorne: He is the grumpy protector of the pack. He is also a hockey player with the Scented Scorpions.
Havoc: He is the shy, gentle 6’4 alpha of the Gray Pack, and he also has a checkered past, he’s an ex-con and this makes him believe that will hold back his chances of courting Noa. He’s this sweet giant teddy bear but he could quickly turn into a touch them and unalive all in order to protect the ones that he loved the most.
He is also an ex-member of the mafia.
I will say that I loved the way that Noa found her scent matches. Honestly, I found it to be really very cute how all the men just froze when they met Noa and then they turned and ran away like scared little boys. It was then up to Noa to make the first move. Obviously, Marylin is clearly working her pure magic again, but I can’t help but wonder how Marylin always manages to find these perfect matches!
The Gray Pack, this is a pack that I found to be super sweet and I really liked this entire pack, and I adored the way they all had their initial insecurities about how an omega joining their pack would affect and change their dynamic. But those dynamics didn’t last too long, we soon see their protective alpha natures kicking in and taking over the moment Noa’s exes roll into town and start to cause Noa problems. They all quickly realize that Noa fits perfectly into the pack, especially when Noa and Havoc came together and their creativity started to flow.
I highly recommend Knot Your Pucking Doll and this entire series, every author has brought something different and unique and their own to this series. I am really looking forward to reading more of this series.
A couple of my favorite quotes from this book are:
"Her scent was earth-shattering. She smiled at me. Her hair was like a dreamy, fiery halo."

The story was super sweet. Even though there was a dark undertone to Noa’s past, you never actually experience it first-hand—only through a gentler retelling of her story. Overall, the book has a nice, steady pace with a few angsty moments when her ex-pack starts causing havoc again, leading to a beautiful HEA.
While Noa’s store and blankets are beautifully detailed, I felt some of the secondary characters had untapped potential. I also found myself a little tripped up on the timeline; I wasn’t sure if she had been with her ex-pack for two weeks or two years. Similarly, I would have loved for some of the key conversations to happen in "real-time." There’s so much potential for emotional intensity there, and being "in the room" for those moments would have helped me fall even deeper in love with the characters.
I loved how Noa found her scent matches! It was so cute how the men froze when they met her and then ran away—it was actually Noa who made the first move. Marylin is clearly working her magic again, though I’d love to know how she always finds these matches! 🤣 The Gray Pack was super sweet, and I adored seeing their initial insecurities about how an omega would affect their dynamic. That didn't last long, though, as their protective alpha natures kicked in the moment Noa’s exes returned. Noa fit perfectly into the pack, especially when she and Havoc were being creative together. Noa is a sweet but tough omega doing her best to live her own life after escaping her parents and the abusive pack they sold her to. She now sells handcrafted blankets from her shop near the Scented Scorpions’ hockey arena. The Gray Pack consists of Silas (the charming leader), Thorne (the grumpy protector), and Havoc (the shy, gentle 6’4" alpha with a checkered past). Havoc is definitely my favourite—likely because we get to know him more than the others. He’s a sweet giant teddy bear who could quickly turn into an "unaliver" to protect those he loves.
I’m very much looking forward to more books in the Knotty Puckers series!
Let's start with a pet peeve more than an objective point - the title of this book has bupkiss to do with the actual story. The forced pun title is just garbage if it doesn't have any basis beyond the genre. Unfortunately, it's a solid indicator of the book overall - very forced use of a popular and increasingly oversaturated, under valued, inauthentic genre without any real substance considered.
Noa is a skittish mouse and we never see much more personality than that. Actually, all of the characters are rather shallowly written. Havoc is the most complex and most likeable. Silas has potential but the author didn't give him enough attention. Thorne is a mess - soft, wussy, awkward but somehow vastly more capable than Silas, the pack leader? He just doesn't make sense which is mostly due to the author's story formatting.
The main plot surrounding Noa is interesting but slightly baffling. I would say it's my own fault jumping into a series midway but there are multiple authors involved, requiring each author to add to the universe they are building. Noa's story doesn't work because of the disparity between where she grew up and how Tennessee is presented. There isn't quite enough detail related to her formative years until it's already been proven as socially unacceptable.
The author spends so much time describing blankets, and writing poorly timed (and executed) intimacy scenarios, and going in circles of "I'm so scared... But I love them.... I'm so scared..... Let me ignore any rational attempt at seeking help," and not nearly enough on the relationship building, trust building, society building pieces of the puzzle.
I will say the antagonist resolution for pack peckerheads is absolute perfection. I'd have enjoyed a more bloodthirsty resolution for her parents as well but beggars can't be choosey all the time.
And for fun, let's wrap up with another pet peeve - if you're going to use some complicated process like pottery in your book, pay attention to the basic realities of the art. To glaze, fire and cool an entire set of dishware in a single night would be impossible. A simple google search tells you that kilns take 12-24 hours for a glaze firing and approximately 24 additional hours to safely cool. Why do you need to cool? Because opening a hot kiln to cold air would cause the hot pottery to shatter. Considering the night in question was a late night for the characters, even 8 hours is beyond impossible.
Pretty good addition to what's shaping up to be a fantasic shared world series about The Scented Scorptions hockey team.
The story itself is really interesting. I was slightly confused to begin with as a previous book mentioned one of the fmc's brothers would be in this one, but I do believe that book is no longer in this series (which is probably for the best - it was great on its own, but it didn't really fit in with the series) so that makes sense.
Like a few other books in this series, this does touch on some darker undertones (Noa has a dark past) but the book doesn't focus on that. It really focuses on the present and the guys so this isn't dark by any means.
"Her scent was earth-shattering. She smiled at me. Her hair was like a dreamy, fiery halo." -The guys are so corny, and freaking adorable. I love it.
The guys themselves were really sweet and supportive. Their first interactions with the fmc were nothing short of adorable. The way they literally stumbled over themselves, froze, ran away (eager to get the others) was cute. It was a change that the omega fmc is the one who made the first move because the alphas were so socially awkward they fumbled it.
“She sent him a heart emoji.” “A heart emoji?” “Yes.” “I want a heart emoji.” -awww
Now, unlike the others in this series, there isn't really much/any hockey in this one, so if you've been hesitant because that's not your thing, you should be good with this one. It really focuses on Noa's business. Most of the story takes place in her shop and then later at the guys' house.
Now, while this doesn't really bother me (I mostly just highlight it, make a note and move on), I will mention for those it may as a headsup - I did find a large number of typos in this (mostly punctuation eg. commas instead of periods, periods instead of commas).
What did pull me from the story and had me a little confused is there are a few inconsistencies in this one. Largely, in the blurb and throughout 90% of the book, Noa's shop is across the road from the arena. Then all of a sudden (to drive that suspense), the shop is 15 minutes away from the arena and therefore the guys miss what happens to Noa and Havoc. Also, the bonding to Thorne happens twice, about one or two pages from each other.
Overall, like the others in this series I really enjoyed this one. I've loved following each team mate, and seeing some of the others, in each book. I've also loved the way each author has taken their stories and fit them together.
3 alpha's match with 1 omega. Those alpha's never had an omega before will it work ? their past along with the trouble which lurking around the omega, will they accept her ?
- I received this arc a few days ago, I applied to this without reading the blurb but after seeing a single reel.
- When I saw the dedication I got to know this book was an alpha - omega plot. This is my first time exploring this genre. I appreciate the author for giving the glossary which helped me understand certain characteristics of alpha-omega.
- It's MMMF category which is also my first time reading it. It was written in a way I didn't get any ick.
- The past trauma, the bonding, the new life, the changes was apt.
- I like how the fmc was portrayed as an entrepreneur after everything she went through the confidence she had to pursue it added well. The past OMG I feel so bad that she had to go through it. Noa, the sweet girl didn't deserve it.
- The mmc's hold on ! let me *inhale* *exhale* three different characters who bonded. Thorne,Silas & Havoc. I loved their interactions, banters, and protective nature towards each other. The last few chapters were quick and heartbreaking.
Silas : Hockey player, leader of the pack. Thorne : Hockey player, grumpy. Havoc : Ex-member of the mafia group.
- The fmc, mmc's interaction, and the bonding were too quick. First date in hotel with all 3 ?? I get omega nature (submissiveness) but the fmc was very fragile when it came to the smells of alpha's which made her so submissive.
- The heat part in the end (the all 4 together ) was very long, and also the way words like "nest" "heat" did annoy me little. But that's how alpha-omega are I guess.
Overall it operates on alpha-omega their bonds, smells, the nature of the pack. With different past and how they are brought together, the way they care, support each other.
(🌶️ was hot,I liked Havoc's character. He is perfect. Silas's concern & thoughts were valid. Thorne's past was horrible and it justifies his grumpiness but man talks less more action btw.)
Noa is an Omega with dreams. She dreams of running a successful business, not servicing a pack. After surviving and escaping an abusive pack her parents sent her to, she now has her business. She owns and operates a blanket shop located outside the hockey stadium for the Scented Scorpions. The PR department sends a player over to grab samples of her blankets, and Thorne discovers Noa is his scent match. His packmates soon follow. The attraction is immediate and overwhelming, but the pack is worried about how an Omega will change their dynamic, and Noa is scared to trust another pack. Add in Noa's past resurfacing, and it's not smooth sailing, but they are determined to fight for their HEA.
This was my first adventure in the Scented Scorpions Shared World, but I don't think I missed anything by not having the SS background. I am interested in reading more of this universe. It was an entertaining read; easy to fall into and hard to put down with light spice, a well-defined omega, an adoring pack, and some past drama resurfacing. Lower angst than I prefer, but great for a light escape. I would have liked more character background. I felt I knew Noa and Havoc fairly well. I appreciated Noa's strength, resilience, and intelligence. I adored Havoc. He is exactly the teddy bear I want in a pack, and he has a layered past. I didn't feel I knew Silas and Thorne as well. There needed to be more backstory and forward development with these two. I also wonder where the men's relationships were. We were told they were involved with one another, but that was barely mentioned or explored. The details included about the blankets (which I loved) needed to be applied to all the characters as well. Finally, I love the scorched earth pack mentality when it comes to taking care of their omega, and this pack fits that description perfectly.
Thank you to the author for the ARC of the upcoming book Knot Your Pucking Doll. Not my favorite, but it was a good story idea. I liked what we saw of the main characters, but unfortunately we got almost no character development or background on most of them. Obviously we got our main female character, Noa's background and some of one of the main male character, Havoc's background. Next to nothing on the other two male character, Thorne and Silas other than they have known each other since they were in diapers and play hockey together. Noa had the makings of a strong and exciting lead, but instead she didn't seem to grow into a stronger version of herself at any point and actually kept doing dumb stuff that made me want to tear my hair out - like closing her shop while Havoc went to get lunch, but didn't lock the door, even though she knows her evil ex-pack are around and out to get her. Like, girl, have some sense of self-preservation please. I always have issue with the villains of a story that are just evil for evils sake with no motivation - why were her ex's such irredeemable pricks? Why were her parents such a-holes to her for being an omega? Again, I guess I just wanted more background, character growth, and plot motivation. Additionally, and I know not everybody is a stickler for this, but there were sooooooooooooo many typos. Typos happen, I make typos (there may even be some in this review!) Nobody is perfect, but there were so many that I found it incredibly distracting. Hopefully it will get some editing and proofreading prior to publication later this month. Thanks again to the author for this advanced copy, plenty of other readers are clearly rating it very highly so I'm sure many more readers will get tons of enjoyment out of Knot Your Pucking Doll too.
In this story, we have Noa, an omega who has run from an extremely rough and traumatic past. She’s living life day by day and trying to grow her business. She owns a blanket store located right by the arena where the Scented Scorpions play. If you’re familiar with this shared world, you know that our team is struggling. None of them are meshing well and there’s talk about closing the team. To prevent this, they brought in Marilyn, an alpha who has been helping the team with PR, which so far has been setting up all the alphas with their omegas. Marilyn has been sending Thorne, an alpha on the team all over town on errands. One is picking up some samples from Noa’s blanket store. Once he arrives, he discovers that Noa is his scent match and in a panic, they both fail to exchange any information. Thorne is in an established romantic pack with Silas (another hockey player) and Havoc (an artist with a criminal past). They all worry about how an omega is going to change their dynamic. Noa worries about letting other alphas in after her last pack treated her so badly.
Noa is struggling in this story. She’s got a really rough past and while her pack is supportive, she still has some trauma to work through, especially when the past won’t stay where it belongs and these alphas from before keep turning up. It’s sometimes hard to watch this group in their awkward interactions. That being said, there’s not that much angst from within the group. These guys are very sweet and loveable. My favourite is Havoc, who is a gentle giant and who is learning how to accept himself so that he can see how others accept him too.
I received an advance copy of this book in return for my honest review.
If you’re wanting to get into omegaverse but don’t know where to start, this book is a good place to start. Knot my pucking doll is a cute story with protective alphas, a cute pit, a troubled past and some spice. The spice is like a little sprinkle here and there, nothing too crazy. I found it to be on the tamer side of the spice meter compared to some other omegaverse books I’ve read. Noa is just trying to live her life as a successful business owner. She owns a blanket store where her blankets are all handmade by her. As someone who LOVES blankets I’d be in heaven in her store. Just as she meets her scent matches her past comes back to haunt her. We got Silas the leader with the calming presence, Thorne the grump who is very protective, and Havoc the shy and gentle 6’4 alpha. Havoc Silas and Thorne would do anything to keep her safe.Havoc is the one who stole my heart though. He’s a shy person and keeps to himself. He really sees his pack for who they are. When he cares about someone he’s all in. Even with his past he’s like a giant teddy bear. They go through some things in just a short amount of time. They just meet and start to get to know each other when her former “pack” start closing in. When Noas life seems to be in danger the guys do everything they can to make sure she’s back with them and safe. Noa is a lucky omega to have such caring and protective mates. In the end she finally gets the happy life she’s been wanting and deserves.
I really enjoy Omegaverse books—they’re one of my absolute favorite genres—and I’m also a huge sports lover. So when a story combines those two things? Nine times out of ten, I’m immediately obsessed and ready to fall in love. This book definitely had a lot of elements that appealed to me: the OV structure, the team dynamic, the competitive energy, and the bonds forming within that world.
But what held this one back for me—and ultimately kept it from becoming a top favorite—was the lack of development for some of the MMCs. A few of them felt underexplored, like their backstories weren’t fully fleshed out or explained in a way that made their motivations, personalities, or emotional depth stand out. In a why-choose or multi-character OV story, I really rely on connecting to each love interest, and when some feel more complete than others, it affects the balance of the whole dynamic.
That being said, it was still a good book. The premise was strong, the sports angle was fun and refreshing, and there were definitely moments I enjoyed. It just didn’t give me the full emotional depth or character detail I’ve come to hope for in my favorite Omegaverse titles.
Overall, it was an enjoyable read—just not one of my personal favorites—but I can absolutely see other OV and sports romance fans falling head over heels for it.
When a runaway omega opens a cozy shop beside a hockey arena, fate has a funny way of sending her exactly what she needs… claws, pucks, and all. 🏒🧶🔥
Dear Readers, Filing an ARC today: Knot Your Pucking Doll by Danielle Doe, an omegaverse hockey romance where found family, second chances, and an omega reclaiming her power take center ice.
This was a cute, quick, and entertaining read. Very much in line with what I expect from omegaverse romances, it’s fast-paced, approachable, and easy to sink into. The characters were likable, the premise was fun, and I genuinely enjoyed Noa owning her own blanket shop. There’s something especially satisfying about an FMC who is quietly competent and independent before romance ever enters the picture.
This isn’t a deeply layered or high-stakes story, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s one of those reads that’s enjoyable in the moment, cozy with a dash of spice, and perfect when you want something lighter between heavier books.
Rating: ⭐ 3.5 / 5 Spice: 🌶️ 3 / 5

🧶 Omegaverse romance 🏒 Hockey romance 🔥 Found family pack ✨ Omega reclaiming power 🩷 Cozy-spicy read
FIRST FACT: Otis is a good boy and an absolute sweetheart.
Overall, it was a really quick read for me but I loved every second of it. Noa’s story definitely came off to me as a fast burn romance and I adored every aspect of Noa. She tries so hard to write her own story as an omega and as a business owner. GET THAT DOUGH, GIRL
The Grey Pack, Havoc, Silas and Thorne, are so happy with themselves just the way they are and I love that Noa adds a bit more to the pack. The Grey Pack don’t have to have an omega to be a part of their pack but they NEED Noa. They are a sundae and Noa is that little cherry on top that makes it all so much sweeter. I love how they all come together so much.
I didn’t really see this as a huge hockey romance. It has a bit of hockey in it but I only really recall one game. The hockey players, Silas and Thorne, are seen more out of the rink and the gear rather than in gear doing their job. I really enjoyed it kinda this way that the guys have a life outside of the sport and the career. Their career isn’t the end all be all.
I really like how soft the guys are for Noa and how strong she is with the support of them. I personally want a Cozy Bear blanket.
What a fantastic start for this author. The book could have used a bit more detail but the story easily conveys what it intended.
I love seeing the characters from another book showing up in a series like this. Loved seeing Ollie again especially since they are besties.
Sweet Noa has been in hiding for the last two years and she has started to find her footing in her friends, her shop, and herself. I love an omega owning a blanket shop. Theyvknow exactlybwhat us best in a blanket. when she gets the chance to make licenced merch for the Hockey team she meets her scent match. The other two matches are discovered very quickly but she doesn't initially know they are a pack.
I loved that the men were all together but I really wanted to see more spice in this story. Most of it was just glossed over. I'm a sucker for heat scenes.
Two hockey players, an ex mafia enforcer who spent time in prison and an adorable little pittie make this a pack people shouldn't mess with. Havoc was so much fun. Big, burly, quiet ex enforced now plays with clay for living. However, as soon as a threat is found he is quick to drop back into his training.
I loved Noa and her guys, plus I love getting back into a book that felt connected to the overall series since the previous one I read (it wasn't book 7) wasn't connected to the world at all. It literally felt like it was a hockey book that threw on a cover to match the series instead of actually participating in the overall series, and I really missed this team, Marilyn, and just the overall vibes that came from trying to fix this team. I just think it's so cool to have a series written by different people, but overall, still feeling really cohesive and like a series of standalones that any other author would write, so there are elements that connect the stories even though the characters and stories are pretty much standing on their own. It was just nice returning to those vibes. Now, as for the book itself, it wasn't bad, I just really wish it had been expanded. We have a lot going on, and the book is on the shorter side, so the story felt a little rushed and needed more time to expand the suspense and the pack forming. It all felt a little rushed, but I liked what it was trying to do. Plus, I love that everyone loved everyone in this pack.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My Review – Knot Your Pucking Doll Author: Danielle Doe
Knot Your Pucking Doll completely exceeded my expectations.
This story follows Noa, an omega rebuilding her life from the ground up, and the pack of alphas determined to give her everything she deserves—including protection from the past she’s running from. From the very beginning, I was hooked.
Noa was such a strong, compelling FMC. Watching her growth and emotional development, especially in how she learns to communicate and trust her mates, was incredibly satisfying. The relationships felt genuine, the emotional moments hit hard, and the pack dynamic kept me fully engaged.
I was never bored—not once. The pacing was solid, the drama was well-balanced, and the hockey omegaverse element added a fun, unique edge to the story. This was my first book by Danielle Doe, and I can confidently say I’m now a fan. I’m already excited to dive deeper into this series and see what else the author creates.
If you’re looking for an omegaverse hockey romance with heart, drama, growth, and a found-family pack, this one is absolutely worth the read.
Knotty Puckers, 12 books, one hockey team full of aggressive, undisciplined Alphas in need of the soft touch from an Omega. This shared world brings 13 authors together to bring a different Omegaverse story to life with action, drama and the inevitable heat. The Knotty Puckers shared world will definitely meet the needs of those readers seeking hot hockey players and the delights of a great omegaverse story.
My first Danialle Doe book and I couldn't put it down. Having met the FMC, Noa, in a previous book within this shared world, I am so glad to have read her story. How each of these characters meet was so different from other stories, it's what caught my attention, the engaging writing. beautiful characters and fast paced storyline is what kept it. Each character brings something different to building this new pack and the dynamics of courting the omega is both playful and sweet. The angst and fear from past trauma and ongoing threats helps balance out the emotional storyline. This shared world keeps delivering in great stories, wonderful characters and writing that keeps finding the back of the net.
A wonderful Omegaverse, where the MMCs are already in a beautiful relationship when they find our FMC. A story about second chances, new beginnings, facing nightmares, and fighting for what matters.
We have a plot with drama and heavy themes, where the past refuses to stay behind, along with hilarious moments due in part to the different personalities of the characters and the strong feelings that arise when they meet.
There are also quite passionate moments, both between the pack of MMCs and later with the FMC — which is to be expected in an omegaverse, where everything is felt very intensely.
Our FMC is a survivor and a fighter, and at the same time a wonderful and sensitive person. I love the friendship she has with the twins.
Our MMCs, two of whom are hockey players, are quite different, which makes them especially interesting, particularly in the way they understand and accept each other. They also carry their own baggage.
They have something in common: a past that has left them scarred. But together they can plan a future, leaving the bad behind.
The connection between them is powerful and incredibly hot.
This was a quick paced enjoyable omegaverse read. I’ve read one of the books in this series and it just got too long and dragged on this one was the perfect length and pacing.
It was unique in that there were 3 alphas in the pack before and they were all together romantically. I feel like in a lot of these books you only see like one coupling of guys in the pack, but these guys were all together which I thought was unique. I liked all of the different characters I felt like they were each distinct and enjoyable.
Here’s why it was like a 3.5 for me this needed a good editing. The main female character is with her abusive pack for two years, but there are several points in the middle of the book and once at the end of the book where it’s put as two weeks instead of two years so that got really confusing , also once we hit the 60% mark I noticed some spelling errors and grammar errors.
Overall, this is a quick paced read. All the characters were enjoyable, so I definitely recommend it if you can look past some minor spelling and writing errors.
Book 8 in the Knotty Puckers Hockey Omegaverse was sensational! This is a group of related standalone books. Each book is written by a different author but they all belong to the same universe. I have been lucky enough to advance read the first 4 in the series and I totally fell in love!! Now I’ve got to go back and read 5, 6 & 7 to prepare for the rest of the series!!
Noa, an omega on the run from an abusive pack that her parents sold her to, is just trying to live her life! Thorne & Silas, two members of The Scented Scorpions (the team this series basically revolves around), and Havoc (their third scent match), make up the MMCs.
Lots of drama, tension, good spice, great storyline, marvelous characters and so much more makes up this book. It’s definitely one of the favorites of the series for me! I haven’t care much for shared world series’s, it just usually get too confusing watching different authors portray people and even events so very differently. But even though this series does have some of those inconsistencies, it’s still terrific!
This was such a cute story. Noa being such an adorable, yet headstrong character is a delight! The fast paced romance between Noa and her scent matches doesn’t feel forced, and feels just right for the rest of the overall pacing in storyline. Also love the fact that Gray Pack is already established, and doesn’t feel the need to go seeking out an omega to add to their dynamic, they just happen to stumble on her while living their daily lives. The fact that Gray Pack doesn’t want to change who Noa is as a person, and simply want to bring her into their happiness is so sweet. I really loved how each alpha had his own unique personality, along with his own desires outside of pack life. It’s really awesome to see when the pack members have things outside of their pack bubble that brings them joy on a different level to their loved ones. I found myself reading this faster than I exptected to, and when. I reached the end, I was wishing for just a little more. These characters are a delight, and their story is written in a way that feels just right for them
I loved Noa's story 🥹 she is just such a sweetheart and she absolutely deserved a happily ever after. This one moves at a pretty fast pace while still letting you get some of that angst and yearning in there. Noa's past was a dark one that she was able to escape from. Although some of those people couldn't just let sleeping dogs lie. Not only did she run away from an abusive pack, she also ran away from her horribly narcissistic and emotionally abusive parents.
One of my favorite things when this happens is seeing some good old well deserved revenge! And this had it 😉 The Gray pack is everything that Noa deserves and so much more. Thorne, Silas and Havoc are everything that she needs 💗 I wasn't a fan of Ollie in her story, IYKYK...but I'm this one she is such an amazing friend and support system for Noa and I absolutely love that 💗 I can definitely see myself reading this one again 💗 ⭐⭐⭐⭐📚 overall story 🌶️🌶️ spice level 1st person POV Multiple POVs
What an incredible story! I loved the dynamic between all 4 main characters.
It was especially moving/emotional to read Noa's trauma breakthrough in moments. Personally, I felt like that really added a lot to Noa's character development. All the characters go a chance to navigate literal and emotional pieces from Noa's past which added a lot of depth. This book is not tremendously long and Danielle managed to work in quite a deep backstory for honestly all 4 characters.
Havoc was (not shocking if you've seen my book boyfriend type) MY FAVORITE. Big, muscular, rugged exterior...soft and sweet for her interior. Protective to his core. I also loved his backstory.
The relationship between Havoc, Silas, and Thorne was a beautiful addition. I feel like we don't see often alphas that are already bonded together and happy not actively seeking an omega. I liked Danielle's approach with how the pack wanted to approach the idea of an omega.
If you like omegaverse, why choose, emotional healing, diverse character backstories, spice, give this a try!
I read for the vibes & the vibes were ✨Swoonworthy ✨

I ingested this book like I was hungry and the pages were my meal. I read this book embarrassingly fast. & the book is not short, it's a full length book, it’s just a good book.
I love when Omegaverse books focus on personalities and not just designation/scent matches. They love their partner because they are a good person, not just because they smell good.
Noa was such a cutie patootie. & the way the guys basically tripped over themselves to get to know her was sooo cute.
As far as Noa and her past, I could feel her sadness radiating off the page and I didn't like it, not one bit. There were some darker undertones, but the book did focus on their relationship. Even though the book is fast burn, their relationship pace did not seem too fast to me.
If you’re looking for a swoonworthy Omegaverse romance, then definitely read this book.
This was a cute book, pretty classic OV, and I simply adored Havoc. I do wish the book had been longer, however, because we didn't really get to know Silas or Thorne well, or anything about their pasts. But as Havoc was my baby I was more okay with that than I'd usually be. I will say, however, that the writing style & word choices felt pretty juvenile, which is off-putting to me personally, but not everyone will feel the same, so you should give it a try. My absolute favorite part of the book is when the big scary ex mafia ex con Havoc is terrified to meet the MC, thinking he'll scare her off from the pack & that she'll hate him, & instead she's instantly enamored by him & even asks him out first hahaha All in all, a good read, just felt like it needed more exploration into the characters & a good editor.
*I received this book as an ARC*

Absolutely loved this book. It was pretty low angst to what I was expecting but nonetheless it was an amazing read. The men are so supportive and the relationships between all of them was written beautifully. Our main girl has been through it and is working through her trauma and everything she’s been through. Her men are always therefore her and they are so lovable!!
The story flows smoothly and is easy to follow along to. It wasn’t fast paced but it wasn’t a slow burn either it was enjoyable to read. The plot was sound and there weren’t many plot holes which was nice as a lot of the time rh books tend to leave a few holes in the relationship building section lol. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cute hockey romance that doesn’t take long to read and is super sweet with a touch of angst
I have been enjoying the Knotty Puckers universe and this is another great addition to the universe. Noa's journey from finding her mates, escaping her abuisve exes and finally living for her was lovely to see. I will say that definitely check the trigger warnings just because some of the flashbacks depict the abuse in minor detail. Otherwise I enjoyed the plot being mixed with the relationship development between Noa, Havoc, Silas and Thorne. It is definitely medium to fast burn but they still got some dates and bonding time in before so wasn't instalove which I'm happy about. The fate of the ex-pack made me happy too and liked how Thorne dealt with the parents. Havoc was definitely my favourite of the alphas but all were likeable and easily recogniseable from each other.
Can easily recommend this as a slightly dark omegaverse in this universe.
