This book is 10 chapters long with a few black and white pictures in between. I think this book is acceptable for third grade and above to read. The story is about a dog named Jack that gets sent to a training school. He tries to make friends and notices a big Doberman dog, which he tries not to go near. Children who are new at a school can make connections to it because when you are new you try to make friends and not overstep but things don't always go that way
